The worst takeaway I have ever eaten

My go to curry house. Have ordered regularly from here for about ten years. Plenty of choice and they’re willing to vary the heat on request.

Its not a question of the 'quality' or the delivery but the fact that Raj managed to deliver with ONE MEAL SHORT! You charged me for a chicken korai which was not delivered with the other food. Not good enough.

The delivery time kept changing, I did get notification that it was going to be delayed and that they were doing everything they could to rectify it. Lovely meal when it did arrive.

Disgusting customer service. Wrong food delivered, called to discuss getting the food that we PAID FOR. Told to report it missing and not to call back before he HUNG UP. We have completely the wrong food and such a little amount after paying nearly £60. Disgusting- will not be ordering again. 0 stars

the paneer and butter chicken were way too sweet and so just be wary when ordering.

Usually very good but has been hit and miss the last few times. Sadly this one was no different - chicken was very overcooked (tough to chew, even tough to cut! Chucked most of it away) and naans were burnt. Time to try somewhere else next time unfortunately! Not good enough when the price of everything has gone up.

Great curry. Jhalfrezi a little mild, but I did select "Medium". Will select "Hot" next time, personal preference. Been using Raj2 for several years and found it to be one of the best home delivery Indian Restaurants in the area.

Chicken korma, butter chicken and pineapple fritters are absolutely amazing. I love the taste to each and every one of them. Not too spicy for me to enjoy and portion size is seemingly generous.

Slow delivery and very average food. Curry was watery, onion bhaji rock solid and naan bread burnt. Ordered based on reviews so surprised how mediocre the food was

Honestly, the food slapped—mad tasty. The curries were rich and full of flavour, naan was fresh and fluffy, and don’t get me started on the tikka. Legit melted in my mouth. You can tell they know what they’re doing in that kitchen. Service was spot on too, quick and friendly. Vibes were chill, and it’s defs one of the better spots in Northgate. If you’re after some next-level Indian nosh, this is the place. Can’t wait to go back!”

The driver was reluctant to hand over the food, even though I was standing right in front of the house. He asked me four times if it was really my order, even after I showed him proof. Is this how your food delivery is managed?

My Lamb Korai was the usual excellent standard, keema naan soft and piping hot. Some of my onion bahji's were slightly over cooked (this time only) Otherwise would have given full marks again.

food was average nothing stood out, curry was very watery for some reason and chicken was tough. won't rush back

Ordered the set meal for £22. ‘Alright’ is how I’d best describe it. The mixed starter was nice. The Chicken Tikka Jhalfrezi was bland and very oily. The Saag Aloo was bland and the Garlic Naan was so dry I couldn’t eat it. Pilau Rice was fine. Just very disappointing really.

Usually our go to for indian takeaway but this time was very disappointing. All of the chicken was very overcooked and tough/dry. Naans were the same, ended up a struggle to eat sadly so will probably give a miss next time. Shame!

We binned the food. What a waste! Couldn't eat it. it was overcooked, overspiced, too much salt and literally no meat. The food was just horrible. Very poor quality 😢.

Amazing !! Away my go to Indian. However few bits of chicken were abit chewy. But other than that it was all great!! Tried the broccoli bhaji and was lovely.

1st time payment went through with the order. Something went wrong and then you reordered and I had to pay cash, good job I had cash on me, even though you came after I ate my meal

Delicious food and excellent service, we got delivery to our hotel. Some tips for American travelers however! They will call but the calls didn't come through despite me having service, so whatever time it says for delivery in the email, make sure you're there to pickup at that time!! Also rice is not included as a side with everything like my locale back home, so make sure to check or add it to your order. You will not regret this meal

I ordered a big order for a family get together. 9 people to feed an Indian buffet to. We ordered and paid two days before. The whole experience from ordering through to delivery was exemplary. Food was bland and mostly unedible. The Puree, Onion Salad and Pickles were OK. Main was distinctly lacking in lamb flavour, presentation. Takka Dahl was watery. I've ordered from here for many years and this the 2nd bad meal in recent times. It went in the bin. Very disappointed.

Good food and delivery again. My go to curry takeaway in Crawley. Ordered the same curry as last time rogan josh however this time it was not spicy at all. Would be better if the food was more consistent with tastes.

it's been a while since I ordered from here, it was nice but didn't blow my mind! I think some of the dishes could have done with more seasoning, service was good, delivery was speedy so pro's and cons, just being truthful bur it's OK,very edible and filled my empty tummy

Come on Raj… it’s so hit and miss. This one was just awful though. Couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Sometimes the food is absolutely incredible, other times it’s very unbelievably poor! It’s also strange how the food here upsets my stomach worse than any other curry or any other food. Please maintain the level of food when it’s great and stop allowing some days to be so dreadful.

This is always my 'go to' place for a tasty curry. Always competitively priced and enjoyable.
