The best restaurants in South East

Terrific early lunch. Popped in without booking and just got lucky! Ordered a bunch from the Beer menu and every dish was outstanding. Excellent, personable service from the welcoming staff. Can't find fault. Will be back!

This spot is an amazing place to grab some delicious gelato with friends or family. The staff were impeccably young energetic and charismatic making jokes about the flavours and gelato! The boy with glasses was very sweet. Overall 10/10 experience would come again

Fantastic coffee in a wonderful, very uplifting atmosphere. I always try to stop by this place when I'm near the train station - the coffee's fantastic, and it's hard not to leave without a smile on your face.

Brilliant Sunday lunch. Pate or crab and avacado salad starters superb, followed by a traditional roast dinner. Background music from a talented singer added to the ambience. Really enjoyed our visit.

First time at the The Works Cafe for breakfast. The service was excellent especially from Chloe and Donna. The breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be going back!

Best brownies, brookies and Blondies by far. Amazing selection - everything we've tried has been out of this world! Absolutely delicious.

This is the second time I have ordered a cake from Sweet Passion Cakes and I've been blown away again. This time I ordered a bespoke baptism cake (Belgian chocolate). Ordering is so easy, I sent across some design and colour palette ideas and the rest I left in their creative hands. WOW! Absolutely stunning cake, delicious and the perfect centre piece. My wife and I ate here last night (25th Jan). Mushrooms to start and then I had probably the best lasagne I’ve ever eaten. Lasagne seems to be similar every where but not this one. Hot succulent and some great herbs in the mix. Large portion too. Apparently Enzo’s mother’s recipe. You gotta try it folks.

Absolutely outstanding gala dinner tonight. 7 courses of the most fantastic food. Couldn’t fault a single thing, amazing service, lovely atmosphere, great students and fabulous staff. Matches any of the best fine dining restaurants.

Very friendly waitress with a big smile.And the Vesuvio pizza was so yummy cook from a authentic Italian chef . It was saturdy lunch and the restaurant was pretty busy inside and out, but i didn't wait long before my pizza arrived.

Great breakfast all round. Beans are absolutely delicious as well as the homemade bread. Took a little long as they were very busy on sunday morning but apologised and offered a free coffee. See you soon

Amazing food and drinks. Atmosphere is great. We had a good time celebrating my niece’s birthday! I am a regular now! Nice addition to Burgess Hill.
