The best restaurants serving American food in South East

This place is amazing,I had the Shroom burger and it's served with so many fries even I (who can eat A LOT) couldn't finish! It's a lovely little place and the staff was very nice!

My first time visiting here for an extended family lunch. Sadly my overall review is not great in terms of service and being overcharged but most of the meals were really good! Sadly our waitress didn't really know anything about the food on offer when asked about the size of the prawn dishes and what was in the sauces for the steaks. Thankfully when most of the starters were brought to us, the delivery was good except that one of our party's starter was delayed. 15 mins later, still no starter and the rest of us had almost finished so we cancelled it. When the mains arrived, all looked great but sadly the steaks which were only offered either either rare or well done, was delivered more medium than rare which was sent back. Most of the meals were pretty good, tasty and a good portion size. We were surprised that whilst a child's menu was available, no child's dessert menu was, so we were charged £6.75 for one scoop of ice cream for the 3 year old (standard portion 3 scoops). Coupled with the menu offering two courses for a price, this was not reflected on the bill so therefore overcharged. Suffice to say, when queried this was adjusted and the cost for the ice cream refunded, however, we didn't like having to make these queries and felt quite uncomfortable doing so. We were also only willing to pay half of the automatically added 12.5% service charge due to the poor service received. A point to be mentioned too are the toilets which are so low, they seem more appropriate for young children and by the looks of things, it was a shock to previous guests as the toilet was very loose on the wall. Such a shame, as we were looking forward to trying somewhere different in Cobham. When restaurants charge premium prices, one would expect more knowledgeable waiting staff and a more efficient service. Thank goodness most of the meals tasted pretty good.

Just happened upon this restaurant. The outside does not look very inspiring but as we were in the area thought we would give it a try. We were not dissapointed. An extensive menue and a good recommendation from the waitress for starters. I like my food hot. The plates were hot and the food was hot (restaurant food often only warm). Not only was the food hot but was amongst the best Thai food I have eaten. The staff were very attentive and anxious to please. I will return.

I had heard good things about this place and its connection with “ the edge” but to be honest was disappointed. The burgers were good but the burrito and tacos were not good at all. Considering that these are the main things on an already limited menu this was disappointing. Tacos were cold, not much filling, not much taste! The burrito felt like a meal deal wrap! We won’t visit again not just for the burgers!

Really great pub Chinese. Food delicious. The place to get your Chinese in the Dover area. Highly recommended. It's great to have a proper drink with your meal2

Starters were good. Steaks ordered were all very underdone and sent back, in my case it was sent back twice and as a result I was out of sinc with everyone else. Then had to wait so long to get deserts that three of the family had to leave, and to top it off when the waiter came to take the dessert orders for those remaining my daughter asked what the cheesecake was and he replied quite sarcastically describing it adding that it was the same as it was when he brought the dessert menus. My Daughter wasn’t at the table when he came first time so how could she have known. It was plain rude! Were the steaks nice - not really and mine was quite salty. This was supposed to be a special occasion, our golden wedding anniversary but came out feeling the day was spoiled

Brilliant service by Noel. Shared his knowledge well. The food is exceptional and the wines on offer are well worth trying.

I had never been before but thought I would give it a try. We had good service and the meal was excellent and good value I chose the steak and it was cooked as requested my friends and I will return.

Great pancakes and lovely atmosphere. We sat in the main room by the window. It was slightly awkward to eat as I had to hunch over but the pancakes were amazing. They come with maple butter which brings these pancakes to another level! There is lots of option on the menu for different flavours and toppings and this is customisable too. For extra seating they do have a little back garden section (which is covered) but offers a nice breeze. They only have 1 toilet which is down some steep stairs and is unisex.

Really friendly staff, with great atmosphere. I've been a few times now and authentic thai food was amazing with excellent presentation. Live football showed and good selection of beers. I would most definitely recommend 😎💯

Haven’t been to these guys for years since they were based in Hove. Just found out that they now operate from a new venue. Absolutely awesome burgers did not fail to satisfy so glad we found you again. Yummers!!

Very friendly staff, great selections of meats. Buffet food was great as well. Atmosphere could have been a little better
