Beekeepers in West Oxfordshire

I had never been before but thought I would give it a try. We had good service and the meal was excellent and good value I chose the steak and it was cooked as requested my friends and I will return.

Attend on Saturday the 12th of August. One of if not the best fish and chips I have had anywhere in the UK (and I've eaten at a lot of coastal towns) The fish was perfectly cooked and the chips were amazing. My wife had the spring rolls and beef taco which she said was absolutely amazing and that we must come again. Hats off to whoever the chef/chefs were that day absolutely amazing. Friendly staff on bar with excellent service in which was obviously a very hot and busy period of the day. Will attend again for sure.

Came here with family, with my very annoying sister😂. Both had a rump steak, one blue one rare and they were both amazing, couldn’t finish it all though but would have if we could. we had two check backs one from the chef(damo) and one from James, absolutely fantastic food no faults, absolutely amazing value seeing as the steak was £12.50 including Extras which is phenomenal. Beautiful outside seating with a lovely flower bed and a beautiful well tended garden with sunshine, would definitely recommend coming here. Thankyou so much!

Came here with my sister, absolutely exquisite food! ordered 2 rump steaks one rare one blue, was absolutely lovely sitting in the garden right under the sunshine in a wonderful environment. Had 2 check backs, one from the chef and one from the staff. Amazing amount of food and quality for the price, extremely affordable. All the staff are extremely welcoming and lovely. 10/10 recommend taking a visit here as it was absolutely astonishing!!

Was stopping in a village nearby so googled some pubs to eat at. This had some great reviews so decided to eat here. Garden was lovely in the sunshine. I ordered using the QR code that was easy and drinks arrived quickly. The food was absolutely lovely. My wife had the chicken Caesar salad and said it was one of the best she’d had. I had the mega mixed grill. That was a huge plateful, all cooked to perfection and very good. An excellent meal thank you.

It was early lunchtime when we called in so it wasn’t very busy the garden is quite large and on a sunny day the perfect spot for lunch, in this case two salads a bowl of chips an a couple of nice glasses of wine just right, apart from a dim barman it overall very good.

We visited this restaurant today whilst visiting the Cotswolds. I was a bit dubious coming somewhere new to eat but we needn't have worried. The staff were really pleasant and were more than happy to accommodate us. We all ordered food and it came quickly and was hot and fresh. The food was really nice and well presented, we even ordered desserts and they were really nice. The server completed the check backs and cleared the table promptly. The toilets were surprisingly clean which was a refreshing change. If we return to the cotswolds, we will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Thankyou for looking after us.

The Beekeepers has become our go-to for birthday meals. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, and really go above and beyond to ensure that you have the perfect experience! Irene, the Landlady/Manager really can't do enough for you, and gives your visit the personal touch. The food is always delicious and well presented, with the burgers especially being the best in Witney by far, if not the UK! Everything is reasonably priced, which is a bonus. We always enjoy the small plates which are generous, of the highest quality and fantastically priced. A perfect atmosphere for family meals, as well as a great spot for evening drinks. The huge garden with the option of undercover seating is great all year round. Also, do pop along around Halloween time for some amazing home-made decorations! They are worth a visit alone!

I'm deeply disappointed with the discriminatory treatment my family and I received at Beekeepers. Despite being regular customers, our recent visit left a bitter taste in our mouths. Upon arrival, we were shocked when the staff, including a laughable doorman, demanded my underage son's ID before allowing us to dine, despite him being accompanied by his parents. It's worth noting that my son is significantly older than the children inside, yet they were not subjected to the same scrutiny. When confronted, the staff's flimsy excuse was that those families would leave soon. How can they guarantee that, are they kicking out the patrons when it's convenient? This blatant favoritism, combined with poor management and the absurdity of the doorman's actions, are unacceptable. It's disheartening when a manager makes our children seem they're worth less than others. Furthermore, according to UK law, children accompanied by adults are allowed in pubs. It's a shame I can't give a zero rating. Until Beekeepers addresses these issues and ensures fair treatment for all patrons, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

Amazing atmosphere and even more amazing service from staff. Special mention to a lovely lady I believe is called Joules. she's looked after us from the moment we sat down to eat. Will definitely be returning

Popped in for a drink and lunch during a shopping trip. Lovely and clean with great service behind the bar and on the floor. Daniel was great with his service as always.. I cannot believe how much me and my party were made to feel accommodated. We booked a Christmas party for 10 people which was so easy online and followed up by a curtesy call from Daniel. The manager of this establishment was on hand when I changed an order last minute because one of our work colleges has a lactase intolerance. She ( I think her name was Irene) and the kitchen staff made her night by sorting the issue last minute. I would book there again with my family every time an occasion comes around. In summary.. Bar.. excellent service. Kitchen... excellent food. Manager ... brilliant atmosphere and from somebody that lives locally has put a smile on my face with the Christmas decor. You will not have a service like this anywhere else in witney. 10 stars if I could.

Unpretentious town pub. The menu is varied with a wide choice and the service when we were there today was excellent. I was impressed by the friendly and efficient staff who gave the impression they were genuinely pleased to see us even though the place was busy. Not really useful in the current weather but here is a large garden providing outdoor service which I have enjoyed before and will go back to again.

The Beekeepers team have been absolutely fabulous throughout the whole process of my booking a corporate Christmas meal for 7th December 2023 for 19 people. Daniel's communication and support during the planning of the event, was first rate as was the actual evening itself. The table settings were great and all the staff team very attentive and were accommodating of a couple of special requests, not forgetting the bar staff who were really helpful and sorted out the corporate drinks tab for us easily. All the food was served hot and on time. The whole service went very smoothly considering there were so many of us. I would like to commend the chef on great value and exceptionally well cooked and delicious dishes that completely exceeded our expectation - The Christmas Turkey pie; well that was a revelation, the pastry was flaky, crispy and cooked to perfection, it came out on the plate looking like a gloriously, huge pork pie with lots of cranberry sauce on the top! The flavour combination of the sauce in the pie was balanced and very tasty indeed - as a bit of a foodie (can't you tell) I may need the recipe! The team loved the steaks, each cooked to a pre-ordered specification and the burgers were beautiful to look at and very tasty. We also loved the pulled beef rib filled Yorkie starters and the hot n spicy bites were a triumph enjoyed by all. I highly recommend the Beekeepers to all and am sure you will enjoy their Xmas menu and service as much as we all did, it's 5 stars from Boden FM at Brize Norton and thanks to all the team for making our evening such a good one!

Beekeepers hosted a birthday party for us, we were a large group of over 20 people and they accommodated us beautifully. They had reserved an area of the pub so we could all sit together which was really inclusive with no separate tables and no one left out. They had asked for pre-orders which were easy to arrange with the extremely helpful manager Daniel. All our food came out at the same time and was cooked to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their meal and sent compliments to the kitchen team. There was no wrong orders and no issues with any of the meals. The table service and bar service was amazing and we were well looked after. The tapas trio went down a treat with several party members, the burgers were great, the steaks and mixed grills were cooked to perfection. All the portions were really generously sized and reasonably priced. We had an amazing birthday party and will definitely be popping in for more meals in the future.

I dined here with my partner prior to going to the cinema. The food was simple but well prepared. The "Dirty" fries are REALLY excellent , if not a guilty pleasure. We both enjoyed the food, and the ambience and service were good.
