Went there tonight and was not disappointed, the food was amazing, best homemade chips I've ever tasted. The steak was cooked perfectly. The highlight of our evening was meeting the staff, extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended this place.

My husband and I went to Seggaris Restaurant with our grandson for dinner last night. We were warmly welcomed and seated. We both chose burgers which were absolutely delicious. Beautifully home made burgers with flavoursome herbs onions etc.. There was a large choice of different burgers to choose from and they came with skin on fries and salad. Our grandson chose sausages , chips and beans from the children's menu followed by ice cream with chocolate sauce. Together with a drink the children's menu was a great value costing just £5. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

We visited seggaris for a birthday celebration, the waitress was friendly, we both ordered the ribs they looked great when they arrived but that’s as good as it gets, they were very fatty and the chips tasted of old cooking oil, I see a previous review said about old cooking oil, I couldn’t eat it after complaining to the waitress she must of spoke to the manager/ chef who came to see us, when I said what my complaint was she was very defensive and said I changed the oil today (really!!!) she then went on to say if the ribs come in fatty I have to put them out!!! Even worse the bill came to £64, not even a small discount, we left there and had a very enjoyable McDonald’s, hasten to say will definitely not be returning.

As always when we are in Broadstairs a meal in Seggari’s is a must ! The owner Paula is always so welcoming and goes over and beyond to give such great service. The lovely chef Elaine cooks the best steaks, nothing is ever to much trouble. Seggari’s is a family favourite and we cant wait to visit again !!!

Me and my family love it here! Yesterday was my brothers birthday and this is his favourite place to go, the food is delicious especially the California burger and the chicken chunks with garlic Mayo! Which my brother and sister in law stated how much they love the garlic Mayo with the chicken chunks and our waitress made sure to bring out a massive pot of it for them! The staff are amazing they are very warm welcoming and friendly which makes the experience even better! Thank you so much :)

We should of known from the starch of old frying oil as we walked through the door, we should have turned around and gone to the fish and chip shop across the road were the aroma was far more inviting. Having said that we gave the restaurant the benefit of doubt based on the reviews that most have been written by people with very little eating out experiences at med to high level restaurants. The waitress was extremely nice and showed us to a widow that had been dressed for our double birthday celebration as only 3 days apart. She took our order for wine and our starter. We opted to share tempura prawns and calamari. Well what a disappointment. Broadstairs is known for its seafood restaurants. We thought we had read the sign outside and mistakenly gone into Iceland, that was truthfully a honest statement. The prawns were not even the standard of M&S. The calamari was from a off the shelf freezer pack. Not even a good caterer’s. The wine however was quite good so that was a saving grace. We could get drunk and not notice the standard of the food. Like a sheep that follows anything we went on to the main course. I went for the beef ribs while my partner opted for the steak. Although our waitress was lovely and chatted to us about holidays and things she forgot to give us steak knives and because we had now downed half a bottle of wine each waiting, we forgot to ask. My partner cut ( I use that word loosely) into her steak where a mass of fat greeted her. She had also asked for rare however the meat was cooked to the standard that my mum prepared when I was a child, leather! My ribs were charcoaled and as I like charcoal I did not expect a face a coal face! We refused the food with polite expression. The waitress even explained the chef always overcooks the food and offered to recook the food for us for us herself?? Puzzled by this we refused and asked for the bill which came to a horrific £54. Even if you said the wine was £20 a bottle(2) which it was not, it made the food extremely expensive. What a disappointment for our birthdays so we went next door to the Magnet were the owner greeted us and we enjoyed an evening of the blues from a guy who was extremely talented ( we normally do not care for blues music) and enjoyed the atmosphere. Magnet highly recommended.

Beautiful steaks cooked to perfection, chips to die for and huge onion rings, what more do you want? Served by a lovely waitress who was friendly and knowledgeable.

A return visit to Seggari's after discovering the place last year. We enjoyed so much before wr had to come back. Very friendly and welcoming staff and delicious food! My husband had the steak with blue cheese sauce, and hand cut chips, which he very much enjoyed. I am vegetarian and so I had the haloumi fajita which I highly recommend to other non meat eaters! Compliments to the chef! Both the ladies who served us were great. One of which was kind enough to let us choose a song at the end of our meal. As it was coming up to our anniversary we chose 'True Love Ways' by Buddy Holly which was played at our wedding. This was a lovely way to end our first evening in broadstairs. Thank you so much Seggari's for a great evening, we will be back next year!!

This place is a hidden gem. Food and service were fantastic. Unlike other places, portions were a great size and quality of food was second to none. Highly recommend and will be visiting again.

Love this restaurant, the Rib-eye steak and the chips were so tasty. Medium rare to my liking and those triple cooked chips were the best I have ever eaten. Crispy on the out and so fluffy. The wife enjoyed her Rump steak too. The chef came to talk to us. She had the same name as my wife’s mother. Great conversation about Saltcoats in Scotland . If you know you know 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Our first visit to this lovely restaurant. We had an absolutely lovely meal. Two Fillet Steak cooked to perfection. Served by two lovely ladies. Would definitely recommend to anyone after a lovely meal out. We will definitely be back soon.

The proprietor's came to our rescue after we arrived from London & they kindly let us use their facilities. They then invited us for a meal at their restaurant the following night & all I can say is wow... super friendly staff, delicious food & first class service! They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine... highly recommend Seggari's as a place to eat, they really go above & beyond... Will definitely be going back when next in Broadstairs. This is without doubt the best steak restaurant in Broadstairs. My wife and I have travelled many many miles before for great steak not realising this fantastic restaurant was on our doorstep. We had a really nice experience from start to finish. The food was lovely, the rack of ribs was massive! We were still eating it for dinner the next day as we took half home in a doggy bag. Small and cosy, but still spaced out enough to feel comfortable in the current situation. We have booked again for our anniversary.

We travelled from Deal in search of a rack of ribs for our son’s birthday whilst on holiday. What a find! 4 of us had the most amazing meals. The Tuesday steak night(upgraded to fillet) was a real hit. The full rack of ribs with Jack Daniels sauce hit the spot and I had the best burger I have ever had!
