What a great welcome. Stop for a refuel bacon bab was prefect top class bacon nice soft bab and perfectly cooked. The cafe was spotless. It’s a place not to be missed.

Thanks to Tom for our amazing breakfasts! The coffee was one of the best I've had too :) Tom cooked my scrambled eggs just how I love them. We will be back soon! Everyone should check them out at St Helen's, Isle of Wight

We regularly go to this lovely pretty cafe/deli overlooking the Green in St Helens. Run by lovely people, great coffee and consistently good food. Very dog friendly too!

I really hope that the young couple who own this deli get as much pleasure from running it as we did from eating there. Two lovely breakfasts and a coffee break. It’s just so relaxed and peaceful. Thank you for making us so welcome. We wish you well.

Hewitt was recommended to us by another pub on the island (who don’t do roasts!). With a recommendation from a chef we had high expectations… Hewitt didn’t disappoint. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, from the minute we arrived to when we left. There was more than just roasts on the menu, but we went for a shared feast! This was a combination of all the meats - lamb, chicken and pork belly. A huge portion of roasties, amazing yorkshires (nearly as good as mine!), fantastically prepared veg and pigs in blankets! Mash and cauliflower cheese were also included . It was a seriously huge serving for two and we bought home. Good sized doggy bag! But the size didn’t come at a cost to the quality… the pork was so tender and soft, the lamb flavoursome and the chicken moist and chickeny (as described by my husband!). It’s a well presented restaurant, has a lovely ambience and well worth a visit!

151 Mitchell AvenuePictures don’t do this hotel justice. It’s absolutely stunning inside and out! We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was excellent and the hotel facilities were great. Thank you Hillside Hotel we can’t wait to return.

High Street Wooton Bridge, Ryde PO33 4LJ EnglandAttended a wedding fayre last weekend and was impressed with the set up until I saw the shabby state of the outside area. There were rotten pontoons and every piece of fencing needed replacing. The location is popular because of the lake it is at the side of. Sadly any wedding photos will be marred by the sheer look of neglect going on outside. It looks to have been many years since any kind of maintenance has been done. With the money it costs to have a wedding at the location, the least I would have hoped for would have been some care and attention to the location that will be a part of many newly married couples wedding pictures. Very disappointing indeed.
