I've been here many times, but tonight was totally disappointing. The service was abysmal. 2 of us got our starters 20 mins plus before our 2 friends. Trying to attract anyones attention was hopeless. The table next to us you could see were getting "hangry" as they had waited over 40 mins for any food. Staffing seems to be the issue here, and until it is resolved, I'll give this place a miss.
A great atmosphere, lovely staff and the pancakes were really good. We were served by Michael and he was a lovely person made us feel special , very bubbly too :)

The Taps in Lytham is everything a proper pub should be. A brilliant choice of ales and other drinks, traditional seating, a real fire, and cosy corners you can settle into for hours. The recently refurbished courtyard adds even more charm, making it a perfect spot to while away a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It’s a place with real character — welcoming, relaxed, and just the right mix of lively and laid-back. Always a pleasure to spend time here.
Here’s a 2-star review written in simple, clear language:
I went to this fancy steak restaurant expecting a great meal, but it was a letdown. First, there was something floating in my wine, which was gross. Then, they brought out the wrong steak—not what I ordered. To top it off, they didn’t even tell me which steak was which or how they were cooked. For how expensive this place is, I expected way better. Two stars because the vibe was nice, but the food and service messed it up.

I ordered online for collections and was told my food was estimated to be done by 17:55. Showed up at the time and my food was, 30 minutes and more, late. My soft tacos were soggy and I was late to Iftar

We were camping nearby and drove past this place - so glad we did! I nipped in to ask if it was ok to bring our dog, and the guy who greeted me couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. He showed me the dog-friendly area inside and the outdoor seating, and honestly… wow. What a find!
The food was a solid 10/10, the staff were lovely, and the outdoor area is just incredible. We loved it so much we went back the next night for more food! Can’t wait to go back again, definitely a new favourite spot.
Fabulous lunch here on Easter Day. We had the 3 course set lunch.
Prawn cocktail to start, then I had the 50 Day aged Black Angus Sirloin medium rare which was cooked perfectly. All the go withs were great of course as well. I don't know how I found room for the lemon tart but I did somehow and it was beautifully sharp and delicious.
Service as ever was perfect.
Lovely lunch thank you.
Great food, staff always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our go to location for family events. Make use of the rewards scheme and great offers
The menu has deteriorated unfortunately from previous high standard .
Chicken Caesar salad was just over cooked breaded chicken on a serving of salad with little dressing.
The flat iron steak was not in a ciabatta as advertised and not as flavoursome as it always was on the previous menu. Skinny chips instead of chunky is I suppose a matter of taste but another step backwards in my opinion
Great spot for the town centre. Lovely friendly service. The room was lovely, clean and comfy. Nice choice of snacks and drinks, iron and hairdryer. We also had drinks and bar snacks down in The Tavern, which was lovely. We had a great time and I would recommend.
