I visited the King Street Townhouse Hotel to attend a business event in a meeting room in the mezzanine level. The quality of the food and drink served during the event made a positive impression on me. The boutique design of the hotel means that I will be sure to check the room rates next time I need to travel to Manchester.

This is my second stay to this gorgeous boutique hotel well located in the heart of Manchester, lovely room with nespresso coffee machine, well stocked mini bar, beautiful bathroom with wide selection of espa products large fluffy robes and slippers available to slip up to the amazing roof terrace jacuzzi to sip a little drink of choice watching the sun ho down over Manchester, whilst there we also took opportunity to treat ourselves in the wonderful spa attached, superb attentive therapist and a beautiful heat experience a little haven of heaven midst the busy Christmas shopping would highly recommend

What a lovely Boutique Hotel in a great location. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the Train Station, we were greeted to a lovely warm welcome and our bags stored as we were an early arrival. When we came back, the room was ready on the first floor, I was expecting it to be noisy in the location it was, it was right next to the staircase and lift but was pleasantly surprised. The room was like a Tardis! You entered the room into a hall way, where there was a wardrobe and coat rack. You then went through another door into the bathroom which had a large walk in shower, a bath and a separate toilet. There was then a sliding door that went into the bedroom. Lovely large comfy bed, great pillows! It also had a seating area and a desk. Complimentary coffee machine and kettle, however the bottled water is not complimentary which I would expect from a 4 star Hotel. We were left a lovely birthday plate for my husband's birthday with a piece of brownie on. We headed up to the Rooftop pool which was a very nice additional touch for a City Centre Hotel, you can even get drinks brought up from the bar. There was also a Sauna but it was cold so couldn't use that. There was a relaxing area with loungers and fresh water but no cups to put the water in. There were also changing facilities and showers. Overall a great facility for the Hotel. We didn't opt for breakfast with us being in such a central location so can't comment on that. The location is perfect for shops, bars, restaurants and the Christmas Market. Everywhere is just within a short walk. We did have a quick drink in the bar after check out which was a lovely chilled environment. All in all a wonderful Boutique Hotel that I would highly recommend.

Ven a visitarnos

¡Encantador lugar!

The only hotel I sleep in whenever I’m in Manchester. It’s honestly so hard to leave the room once you’re in. I also love coming here once a month for my me-time spa day even if I’m not staying for the night. The attention to detail in the spa, stunning decor and facilities are second to none up here in the North. I always have a 90 minute hot stone massage with Patricia and thoroughly enjoy it. She is so warm yet professional. The products used are divine. All the staff all round are wonderful and super courteous. Impeccable service which I cannot fault. I always look forward to coming here every month.

Beautiful, if compact spa. I booked a relaxation package, with 2 course lunch, 2 hours spa time and a massage treatment. The light lunch was delicious and there was a menu to choose from. It's all beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Lockers were free to use and I really loved that the lockers had charging points inside. My only slight grumble is that the "no phone in the spa" rule was not enforced so others were in the relaxation room on their phones which is a bit distracting. The spa area had a relaxation room with heated beds, experience showers and a salt room, there is also a sauna and steam room. My massage treatment was amazing 10/10! I felt so relaxed and refreshed after my visit.

I went there for a yoga and brunch morning over the weekend. The yoga was very relaxing so thoroughly enjoyed it. This was followed by a smoothie and brunch and it was peaceful eating al fresco and looking out at the view (the town hall building is in scaffolding atm but this is no one’s fault).

This hotel is outstanding! Everything was incredible. Would definitely recommend booking directly with them as we got some perks. 2 hours in the spa and a free drink was included in the price. I had a work call early in the morning and a lovely gentleman at the reception told me I could use one of the function rooms. Best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Amazing afternoon with family for my nanna's 88th birthday. We had a little issue with no hot drinks being offered during the course of our time there enjoying afternoon tea, until we asked for them. Other than that, everyone was warm and friendly and took time to walk through the plates so we knew what each plate had on offer.

What an absolutely fab place. We went for an afternoon tea which was amazing. A great selection of sandwiches and cakes plus freshly baked scones! It was delicious! Made even better by being looked after by Amy , our waitress. She was so attentive ensuring we had enough teas and coffee and making sure we were happy with our food. She was so informative too, telling us about the chefs, the locality and the building and all its facilities. Amy even gave us a tour of the wine cellar cinema and rooftop terrace! She was the perfect host and is a credit to the Townhouse! We would definitely recommend a visit there and will be returning very soon ourselves!

Amazing stay at the King Street Town House Hotel. Staff were so welcoming particularly Imogen on reception. Our room was cozy, and the bathroom was very nice with the roll topped bath and fabulous shower. The cherry on the cake was the heated jackuzzi rooftop pool. Wow!!!... The views were great, and there was a sauna and steam room just next to it. There was no time specification on the pool, so you could use it as freely as you liked. We also checked out the Spa next door that offered different treatments for an additional cost. Breakfast was fab, quite big portions too, and the staff were lovely. We are looking forward to coming back again.

This is a review of the afternoon tea at the townhouse: Staff/Service was 5 out of 5, couldn’t fault it. Very attentive. Drinks were lovely, good champagne and plenty of hot drinks. But the food was the real let down, not all of it - the sandwiches were lovely, but some lacked taste and the scone was perfect (although on the small side). The real downfall were the cakes, non of which I liked - they were overly fancy sounding and some were just tasteless.

I don’t usually write reviews but I thought it was necessary after my stay last night. King street townhouse is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was decorated beautifully - full of rose petals and good size espa products for shampoo and conditioner etc ! The infinity pool was the best part, it was a perfect temperature with a lovely view of Manchester, it will be even better when the scaffolding comes off. We ended up having room service and the food was beautiful and so was the drinks. I just want to say thank you to all the staff for being so friendly especially Tamara who looked after us on arrival. I definitely won’t be going to anywhere else in Manchester when we next come and visit. We had the best stay and we wish we had booked for an extra night ! I would recommend to anyone who wants to have the night away !

Visited for my Wife's birthday after a fantastic previous visit. They say you can't re-create an experience and it rings true. Attentive service but found it too over familiar ('lovey' this, 'lovey' that). In a previous visit we were looked after by Gentleman in a bow tie who was 100% professional and had it just right. We had both high tea and traditional tea and found it somewhat lacking with some rather odd choices (chocolate bread being used for sandwiches?!) and the Hummus sandwich was a cop-out. Cakes we're similarly OK. Definitely not in line with the cost, however. Despite booking and paying online in advance, I was surprised to see a bank notification to say that an amount had been taken after our visit, which was somewhat higher than expected - as well as an additional service charge. It took 3 emails and 2 x phone calls to resolve this. I'm also not sure how it's an optional service charge when they simply take it from your card when you've been and gone - a big no no for me and needs to stop. Please be aware that upgrading and paying extra for sparkling wine means you get 1 x glass. Additional glasses of Prosecco are £9.20 each, I think. They should be clear on this when they ask you if you "want a top-up?". Again, a bit extreme. We've stayed at the hotel several times and will do so again, but despite a beautiful and relaxing environment in the restaurant, probably won't be back for afternoon tea.

I’ve stayed at KST many times and it’s beautiful. This time I stayed in room 20. Access to the bedroom via the bathroom which is unusual! Gorgeous toiletries and linens. Bed frame is not ideal. Many bruises acquired!! Also the radio wasn’t there! It was always a nice touch to be welcomed by the Roberts radio.

The restaurant looked good from a decor viewpoint, but was as good as empty. We were told our choice of wine was not available, so chose another - no great issue. The main disappointment was the main course - duck served with a side order of carrots. The dish was served lukewarm on stone cold plates, the duck was as tough as old boots, and the carrot side order comprised more onions than carrots. Not worth what was charged - by a long way.

Used to be a regular visitor here for years. Visited 4 days ago and I will never go back. Food has changed . Not sure but I think he's using cheaper ingredients. Sausages used to be lovely . Now greasy cheap nasty food. I counted 3 tiny half's of mushroom on my plate. Black pudding was paper thin. Such a shame it's got like that. Crockery was filthy I had to send it back. Very dissapointed

We first phoned for a takeaway here 2 weeks ago when our regular chippy was closed. We've been so happy, we're staying! They were immediately helpful & friendly on the phone, reassuring us that their chips are cooked separately in veggie-friendly oil (rare, but important as one of us is vegan). We phoned around 7.30 (having phoned 3 other unsuitable places before!) & they were due to close at 8.0 but were relaxed and happy to allow us time to get there. The chips were delicious, even towards the end of service. The fish batter (for the one of us that eats fish) was crunchy & tasty and the fish (huge haddock) was succulent. Mushy peas were lovely too. The cost was reasonable and the portions were generous. Our experience has been consistently good on 3 consecutive occasions, and we're staying! Highly recommended! Thanks! 👍👍👍

The staff were fantastic apart from that, this is by far the most over hyped resturant I've ever been to. £130 for a pot of melted grainy cheese, 6 pieces of salami, some bread and roast potatoes and a round of drinks. Save your money
