The best restaurants in Culcheth, Glazebury and Croft Warrington North West

Came here for Sunday lunch, party of 10. Staff were great, very attentive and gave us the right amount of time to decide our order. For the whole sitting the staff were great. Food was delicious, a great selection for the Sunday menu. The braised beef was delicious. The pub itself is very cosy and welcoming, old world beams etc. Overall I was really impressed and would definitely eat here again.

Am writing this review to air my disappointment on the visit we made today. We are regular customers who up to now have enjoyed the atmosphere and food at Quench. Today we waited 10 minutes to have our order taken, alas no one came but 2 couples who arrived after us had their orders taken, needless to say we felt like we were invisible, so we just put our coats on and left. Lost a good customer and may never return.

Visit regularly when we see my mum at local carehome. Asked for two coffees, did not specify what size. Mum, who has dementia wanted cake, as we were eating lunch later, I knew she couldn't have much. I saw sign that said free victoria sandwich with coffee. I asked owner if we could have a very small piece for mum. He said no, because you have a large coffee. You can pay for a slice if you want!!!! I didn't ask for a large coffee, and was asking for a very small piece to keep an old lady happy. Very poor customer service and very poor compassion.

Very expensive. Poor quality food, customer relations could be better. No Specials of the day or soup ready at 11am !. Bacon must be cooked day before, very dry and over cooked. Not edible.

This is a really good mid range Italian. Great for couples and offering smashing pizzas and unambitious but good pasta meals. Pleasant surroundings after revamp and efficient, friendly staff.

Used to love going here meeting up with friends, food and service was always very good but since new owners have taken over the food and service is awful, even the wine is undrinkable. Won't be going again!

Went in asked for a bottle of water and the guy was absolute amazing friendly and welcoming couldn’t ask for a better customer service… gave me the water for free thank you sir merry Christmas

Lovely food and really friendly staff

Last January I gave it a rave 5* review and this got a thank you comment from the owner. We’ve been a few times since and everything has been tickity boo. This time the food was fine but unfortunately one of my bugbears occurred. The person behind the counter when serving the coffees picked them up by the rims of the paper cups. Apart from a safety issue re the scope of dropping a hot drink this is totally unhygienic. Seriously I’ve no idea when that hand was last washed or where it has been or what it’s been doing in the meantime. Yuk. No national or international chain of coffee shops would tolerate this - it’s disgusting - and I don’t see why customers here should put up with it either.

Went on a Friday evening which, we usually only go midweek we expected it to be busy and it was but service was really good we didn't have wait to be served and the food came quickly , we enjoyed our food, the atmosphere was lovely lots of people eating or having a drink.

I came here this evening with my family I don't often go out on a Sunday as I'm a chef myself so when I do I try to go somewhere I will enjoy my food this place was recommended to me by a friend well I will tell you by far one of the best Sunday roasts I have ever Eaton out I have the pork and my wife the chicken then we seen the special lemon 🍋 meringue pie and good lord the itailan meringue was outstanding well done will definitely return outstanding chef 👍🔪

Unbelievably poor! The food. Almost like it was a bet internally to see what they could get away with. Starter was Pate which resembles phallus on a cold day. Served bizarrely and not edible. Main course. Easily worse. The chicken roast came out and was suspiciously round. On closer inspection it looked like slices of reformed left overs. (It’s since been suggested that Bernard Matthew’s might be responsible for this delicacy). The service. We had toast ourselves. No biggy and it was a nice room. Alarm bells should have rang when we were only the 4th table at 3pm on a Sunday….and the menu was a laminate. The girl who took the order was polite. The bloke who brought the film out was miserable and made no attempt to engage. No one came To ask us if the food was OK and when they took it back afterwards barely touched they never spoke. I have now found out they have a 1 star FSA review and makes total sense. They should be embarrassed for serving such poor food. I am not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from, although I could guess. Eat here at your peril.
