Visit regularly when we see my mum at local carehome. Asked for two coffees, did not specify what size. Mum, who has dementia wanted cake, as we were eating lunch later, I knew she couldn't have much. I saw sign that said free victoria sandwich with coffee. I asked owner if we could have a very small piece for mum. He said no, because you have a large coffee. You can pay for a slice if you want!!!! I didn't ask for a large coffee, and was asking for a very small piece to keep an old lady happy. Very poor customer service and very poor compassion.

Always a delight. As regular visitors, the food never fails to please. Delicious homemade soups and cakes, so the biggest problem is choosing what to have! The owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Day off today and both had a lovely relaxing breakfast here, mine was vegetarian. Fresh, hot, healthy home cooked food and it came with toast and coffee as well, finished off with sunshine in a glass, fresh orange juice. Had an extra treat, was tempted by the new Red Velvet Cheesecake, delicious and highly recommended .

We often visit make a weekly visit for breakfast and the standard is consistently excellent, which is also proven by the fact there are always lots of local, regular customers in there. The owners are always very friendly and welcoming. It's on the first floor above Sainsbury's and well worth the effort of going up the stairs (for anyone with mobility issues there is a lift on the other side of the building next to the main door into Sainsbury's, adjacent to the large car-park.) There's always a great range of food to choose from including home-made cakes, desserts, soups, etc. It's a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit.

I just love this place. The food is all homemade and full of taste. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the prices are very reasonable. The vegetable soup is the nicest I’ve ever tasted and there are always emergency portions saved for me 😊

Excellent coffee shop. Friendly owner and the place was immaculate. Popped in for a cuppa and had poached eggs on toast. They were the best I had in years. What a little gem of a place this is. Will be visiting again very soon.

Really poor and old fashioned. Not the cleanest of places. The face book page clearly dose not represent the actual place. A few strategically taken photos can make anything look good. They could do with some new cups, saucers and tea pots (See pic) such a shame it’s gone so downhill. Many years ago you could not get a seat. Today 12.40 and no one in. Not surprising. We only went because we could not get a seat at others in the village. Two staff on and not a word between them. They need to cheer up. The guy serving was on his phone all the time.

I had a lovely lunch today, in particular, a chicken burger with chips and salad with a Manchester tart for dessert. Friendly staff and very well in terms of hygiene. Also a good track and trace system with a QR code that stands out so it is visible for track and trace.

OK, so soup may not be the most exciting thing you could mention, but in the Sundial Terrace Cafe there can be found a genius of the soup ladle. Always home-made with both traditional and unusual blends on the menu. A recent 'Spicy Parsnip with Summer Vegetable' was beyond excellent. No wonder it sold out before the end of the day. 'Spinach and nutmeg' sounded a bit strange but was another winner. Served with a soft bap or crusty baguette, you're set up for the day. The whole environment is a simple, straightforward, no-frills cafe which offers friendly service and FANTASTIC SOUPS.

Popped in for a sandwich and pit of tea yesterday with my father. The ham was such poor quality, may as well have been luncheon meet. The cutlery was grubby, the hoover was still out and next to the ice cream counter. The sandwich was accompanied with salad which included peach and pineapple!!! Bizarre!!!! The chips were of the cheapest quality frozen variety and not cooked properly. I asked for mayonnaise and she came out with a huge bowl and dolloped a big splodge on my plate! Poor overall! Won’t be going back!

This is a lovely little cafe upstairs in the CPS shopping centre in Culcheth, Nr. Warrington. Prices are reasonable, the food good and the service friendly and helpful. Go for a quiet sit and a coffee or for something a little more substantial. Be warned though - the loyalty card might defeat you!!

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean, comfy and tidy. We used the restaurant and the food was amazing. Great portions and good value for money. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone. We even had an amazing view of the sun setting. Thank you.

Very overpriced and under sized portions meant to be a cafe not a restaurant. 2.50 for a can of Fanta is ridiculous, had finished food when they brought missed item , chucked at us, no apology nothing, worst place in miles just about ripping off not providing quality or value

We were a large booking so I emailed Gin Alley to book a table. Danielle got back promptly and was very accommodating. Lovely venue for drinks - beers, Prosecco, cocktails. The place was busy with a good vibe. Bar staff were efficient, professional and friendly.

We had the so called £7 Sunday Lunch. it was told to us that the kitchen was short staffed. So accepted the wait for food but didn't appreciate the cold meals and poorly cooked meat with hard vegetables. Didn't complain at the time as didn't want to spoil the family meal further. Was horrified when the bill arrived and the cost of 'extras' became clear. Cola £6, wine £9.50. what with desserts the meal came to over £140 for 4 of us. OK if you were receiving fine dining but a so called £7 Sunday lunch - just ridiculous. Might have been a bad day but will not be revisiting.
