Thai Paragon in Warrington

Nice fresh food. We ordered a bootle of Pinot Grigio which was very nice. Portion sizes are good, with no issues asking for slight variations ( I asked for a hot spicy Pad Thai, and sure enough is was hot). The lighting is a bit sombre but that’s just a niggle. Pictured is my Pad Thai and fried rice.

This is the second time we have had take out delivered from here. The quality of the food is superb. The presentation is excellent. And even the sauces are the best we've tried. Really excellent and we are very fussy Karen's!

Great Thai food probably the best in the Northwest of England lovely surroundings and a really friendly owner the staff are wonderfull the Mrs loves coming here I would recommend this restaurant to anybody it's absolutely 1st class

Best authentic Thai food beautifully prepared and always tasty

Visited here on a Thursday evening, not busy but enough people to give an atmosphere. It was a cold night and the restaurant was a bit chilly even though we were sitting by a radiator. Generally good service from one very very busy server who worked her socks off. Extensive menu and great value with a reasonable wine list. The place is a bit tired and run down and the tablecloth was a bit mucky☹️ Food was lovely, well cooked and very well presented but they made a cardinal sin and served it on cold plates, and I mean cold🥶 lovely food heading to Findus within 5 minutes. Rapid eating couldn’t beat the chill. Thai Paragon could so easily be really good, just put the heating on earlier, make sure everything is clean and for gods sake use HOT plates.

First Thai for a long time and I really enjoyed it. Cannot wait to try the other dishes on the menu next time we are there.

I want to start by saying the food here is good, but what has left a bad taste in my mouth is the slyness of the staff! I brought my family here for a meal and we were a bit tuned to say the least. The staff at this moment thought they could take advantage of this and added extra meal and drinks to our menu. If it weren't for my father who is on the ball we would of been mugged blind. Not cool Thai Paragon. I know who you are and what you are now.

A nice pleasant meal on a weekday evening shared by 4 people - 1 vegetarian in the mix. Mixed grill platter enjoyed by 3 but the corn cakes had no flavour and were undercooked. Fried rice with prawns and a Nasi Goreng and sizzling beef with noodles seemed to go down well, but the vegetarian Pad Thai was again a little bland with NO peanuts (What, no peanuts?). Some noodles were a bit lumpy in the pad Thai and too much juice (liquid), as I expect Pad Thai noodles to be flavourful and dry. So, slightly disappointed with my vegetarian options although rest of the group did enjoy. Service was great and a clean environment made it a pleasant meal. Drinks options were reasonable too.

For a family 83rd birthday dinner for two couples and grandchildren, This was a good dinner and served in a hospitable atmosphere, where we encountered an old friend , his wife and family, so it had an added enjoyment.

Food great But pad thai didn't have peanuts sprinkled on top nor did it have a wedge of lime to squirt on top. Both critical for great pad thai. Chicken satay skewers were a bit cold and so so not so great. Everything else awesome

Booked for a family get together few days before arriving, just to be courteous to the owner. Arrived early Wednesday evening & was greeted by the I presume both the owners ( apologise if this not correct) Very warm welcome table waiting & very attentive 😁 The service was excellent, The choices of starters, mains, and desserts, and good choices of alcohol. Fantastic meals were had by all my family, music a bit mix & match but I could drone it out and hold a conversation. The price for us was very reasonable and to us worth every penny nearly £200 pounds but that was for 5 adults including alcohol 👍Definitely would recommend and definitely would dine here again. There is parking & 2 disabled bays to my knowledge.

Very quiet evening but as more customers arrived the atmosphere did lift. Yhe service & food is always amazing. Definitely worth a visit

Ordered on just eat Ordered chicken green curry Salmon red curry And king prawn fried rice. Where do I even start. Salmon was tough and dry. Chicken tasted like it had been sat in a heater for hours on end tough as old boots. And the fried rice had 3!!! Prawns in it. Paid £40!!!! For this “amazing takeaway” to be highly disappointed. Will not be ordering ever again…

Four of us dined from the excellent value early eveing menu. The food was delicious: light, well flavoured and tasty. Portions were decent size and all working front of house were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Extensive menu to select from. All of our party were hugely impressed with the quality of the food and service. I’ve not eaten Thai for sometime because in general it doesn’t compare with Chinese. This restaurant did and we will definitely pay a visit again.

Visited on 23rd with friends and disappointed this time. Two of us ordered green curry with beef and found it to be tough, left half of it..Mentioned it to waitress but got little response.The rice was clumpy not fluffy as it should be. The wrong dish was served to our friend. Weve been several times in the past but going to avoid it in future.

Had the lunch (2 courses for £9.95) offer - excellent food with a nice level of heat and not too sweet. Would recommend

We had a disappointing visit as both meals were far too salty. Apparently we are supposed to ask for meals to not have so much salt added. I've never heard of having to do this before, especially as so much salt is unhealthy.

Went with friends for a much anticipated night-out. Reception from head waitress terrible. No smiling welcome hear. Assistant staff very good. Rush… rush…rush. I hadn’t even made my choice, having asked for more time earlier Food average, but friends duck starter was terrible. Virtually inedible. Why the rush I do not know. Place was half empty We won’t be going again sadly.

Booked a table for myself and husband. Arrived very quiet only one other table of two in. Food was tasty, customer service was not so good, no atmosphere, low mood back ground music. Not surprised at all why it was empty. Pity the waitress who served us didn't have the customer service.

Visited with my son as a treat at 5.15 on a Tuesday evening. Opted for early bird menu. Mistake. This place used to be good and the surroundings are still lovely but the food was dreadful. Lukewarm ribs minus honey sauce for starter. Duck spring rolls fine. Two chicken curries truly awful: undercooked onions from outer layers of onion, hard potatoes in yellow curry and chicken which looked and tasted like leftovers. Watery sauce on both. What a disappointment! I remember it as good a couple of years ago. The early evening menu promised 2 courses for twelve pounds something. We bought house wine which was fine. (17.95) BUT when the bill came they charged us an extra six pounds over the 12.95 advertised, for the rice which came with the curry! They said it was an optional side order! Since when have people eaten curry without rice? We left feeling disappointed, misled and ripped off! Mediocre at the very best.

Really tastey food. The samosas were delicious. Very clean place and polite staff. You wont be dissapointed.

Lunchtime Thursday is very quiet for those still nervous about crowds. The food, as usual, was great and service excellent.

Wow what a fabulous meal, not only on flavours, but also value for money. Ordered off the early doors menu 5 till 7. Really good portions, the ribs were so tender and main courses were all delishous,, in particular Thia green curry best ever had...cant comment on the full price menu but if this teatime special is anything to go off will be yummi!!! Deserts excellent too.

Great Thai restaurant with small bar area in separate room. Delicious food and fast courteous service. They’ve introduced several measures to be COVID secure but it still feels relaxed enough to enjoy a meal out with friends in a safe environment . Great job.

First time in a while and was pleasantly surprised. Food and service was good after previous visits which were so so. Really enjoyed the mixed starter and my Thai red curry. Definitely will be going again.

my hubby and I visited here for tea..decor needs a bit brightening up, but thats ok, smelled a but funny..bit stale...my starter of duck was ok, if a bit stale...my hubby had soup with what seemed to be precooked chicken..my stir fry main was nothing exciting, the beef seemed bit chewy and not particularly fresh meat..have had worse but have had significantly better..not for me thanks

My first impression is the welcome/greeting I felt it was cold and rushed not many smiles no help with the menu just very rushed. Food was average, we wont go back. Place was nice, food just average but service counts for so much of the full experience.

Really enjoyed the mixed starter and Red curry main, very tasty indeed, would recommend the fresh flavors, slightly abrupt attitude but we don't take it personally

Took advance of the August eat out incentive to celebrate my birthday. We were really impressed with the efficiency and the attention of the staff in a packed restaurant. The range of vegetarian dishes is exciting and tempts is to return to try something else. All dishes were lovely.

By far the worst Thai experience i have ever had. slow service. (30 mins after was told it was ready to collect) small portions, cold and under cooked food after over an hour wait, Wanted to try for years and so disappointing, Never again!
