Quench Cafe in Warrington

Simply the best breakfast anywhere. We’ve been going to Quench for some time now for breakfast and you can’t beat it. Always fresh and not greasy, the food is delicious. Coffee also excellent. And of course the staff are lovely.

Called in to Quench Cafe for lunch today, a great choice of food as always. The Wiltshire ham and chutney sandwich with a little side salad and a portion of chips. Steak and Onion Pie and chips. Absolutely delicious apple pie and custard, great portion of custard.

Excellent as usual! Service is second to none, food is fresh and homemade and the cafe is always immaculate. Lots of space for a pram, wheelchairs too. Highly recommend.

Decided to have lunch at quench cafe following months at home in lockdown. On arrival staff took temperature and contact number. My friend and I ordered the beef lasagne with half salad half chips and garlic bread. Meal was freshly prepared and well presented, portions were large, struggled to finish. What really impressed was how the cafe socially distanced tables and diners. Once diners left, staff cleaned and ensured table, including legs, chairs including backs, seats and legs were thoroughly cleaned before next customers were allowed in. If you are looking for a nice place to have a meal look no further than quench cafe. A gem in Culcheth.

This has become a favourite of ours. We love the friendly staff, pleasant surroundings and good quality food. Thank you so much Quench.

Visited on Saturday morning, quite busy but nice friendly atmosphere. Service was very good, nice selection of food. Ordered the breakfast, I liked how you can pick what you like and how much. Food was delicious really homemade. Definitely one to go to again.

Quench cafe is very good nice vintage cafe with lovely staff and good food and drink food 4 stars drinks 5 stars cafe 5 stars very welcoming nice only one thing was wrong when I went 2 years ago they had muffins and now they don’t so that was disappointing but everything else was incredible

Six of us arrived for breakfast around 10am. We were sat down and served straight away by the attentive staff. Service of drinks and food followed shortly and was of excellent content and standard. All round great relaxed atmosphere.

Open from Tuesdays-to-Saturdays, this cafe is well known for its friendly welcome and high quality, freshly prepared foods. I often go for breakfast and can thoroughly recommend these. All ingredients are from local shops or sources. Indeed, the adjacent butchers is one such provider so you can always nip across to buy bacon, sausages etc. Quench is extremely popular at lunchtimes and between the hours of, say 12.15 and 1.30 it can be hard to find a table. At such times service can be understandably slow. At weekends, Quench can be busy during most times of the day. They stop taking orders for meals at 2.30 and generally close at about 3.30.

Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere and great food and service also non profit making means great value Thankyou to all! The lovely people who work here and give their time for free x

Paid a visit to start off a birthday for my mum-in-law. They staff were wonderful, the food was fantastic and there was plenty of tea in the pot. Thank you for looking after the Birthday Girl so well. It's great they have a varied pricing structure for the items you can choose from the breakfast menu. We all really enjoyed our visit.

A major surprise for this unexpected standards for this cafe. A large comfortable room with fair size menu and friendly service. The prices are a little high but acceptable.

Price increase has spoilt it for me , used to be very reasonable but now far to expensive , won't be going again any time soon !!!!

Has over taken the long standing number one café in the village and is now the better place to go. Good quality and standard of food complemented by the warm and welcoming staff.

Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Food is always cooked fresh with specials varying daily. A delicious choice of cake and coffee is always good. A great atmosphere with reasonably priced food.

Cracking local cafe, great staff, good selection of food at reasonable prices. Always Clean, and always made to feel welcome.

Mi esposa, marie fui con mi suegra, y mi hijo menor luke. marie tenía latte, luke tenía un muffin de arándanos con chocolate caliente, luke dijo que era el mejor que había probado muffin de arándanos! Mi suegra tenía el café con leche, y fue muy agradable. Sin duda llamar de nuevo.

Great place for a quick coffee or lunch. Everyone is pleasant. Nice and clean. Usually some form of special available.

This is a great cafe, lovely vibe and the staff always take great care of us. Very comfortable place.

A nice little place to go.but food very pricey. I know it goes back into the community.but there are other places in culceth .that is just as nice and not so expensive

A great choice of traditional breakfast items, all perfectly cooked with first class ingredients. The best piping hot americano and low low prices. Cheerful and friendly staff. A great ambiance and free wifi to boot. What could be better?

Good food, very reasonable prices, all freshly or home made. Soups are delicious. Cakes and puddings gorgeous. Staff very friendly.

Excellent Food! Excellent Service! Excellent Atmosphere! Its just a nice place, clean and friendly, with great relaxed atmosphere and a wonderful breakfast which they serve all day! If you haven't tried it yet ....go!

Best latte coffee I've had in a long time whilst out, really enjoyed the calm quite atmosphere will return soon.

Love this place came for a lazy family breakfast a few weeks ago and been regular since, great home cooked food and lovely service they are so welcoming and pleasant . Soups are yummy and the mains are good home favourites, will be there again soon

We have been here for breakfast a few times now and would highly recommend the cooked breakfast. Service is very good and they make children very welcome too.

Great variety for breakfast and lunch - basic good quality food and excellent coffee from a "real" coffee machine (like you find in Italy).Top class service.

Ok it's run slightly different than other commercial catering organisation ie the front of house staff are voluntarily,the tips are given to Charity . It closes early + Sunday ,+ Monday , with little or no alcohol.BUT , the quality & size portions of food are outstanding , staff so helpful , always having time to pass the time of day . So much space compared with a nearby competitor , chairs , sofas etc Excellent toilets , it's a credit to the village , keep up the good work . Fully recommended for a light snack or refreshment .

This is a lovely café with space between tables so you do not feel squashed. Immaculately clean and well presented .Have eaten here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Food freshly cooked in the café and of a good quality and quantity. Service excellent -the staff are lovely always helpful and friendly.

A spacious eatery with classical relaxing background music, sky news on the big screen muted with subtitles, free Wi-Fi, clean tables, great simple food and excellent welcoming customer service. I've stayed there from breakfast through lunch and had great service, great food at affordable prices and a productive working day. This place knocks spots off of McDee's

Situated in the centre of Culcheth, this relatively new cafe has parking right outside, or just across the way, although this can be difficult on busier days. Access is by a step up through the front door, although it's not too high and therefore not that difficult for wheelchair users. Once inside, the tables are well spaced out, so no problems there.The menu offers a range of items, we have been for lunch and breakfast. Both were excellent. Obvious high quality breakfast ingredients. Friendly staff, quick service. Toilets easily accessible for disabled customers. Would recommend. Turns into a church on Sunday's!

We always enjoy the Quench. There is plenty of space between the tables which allows disables visitors to make their way to their seats. There in a very friendly atmosphere that lets you feel that you are with your family. The food is always very tasty. Just like mom used to make it. It is good home cooking. You need to try the macaroni cheese. We always look forwards to our next visit.

I have eaten there a few times in the last couple of weeks and it has been great every time! Great lattes, the fish and chips are the best in town, and my kids love it there too!

This is a great little cafe, staff are friendly although service slows down when it's busy - but this will happen Food is well made and enjoyable.

Whilst the menu is very limited, the portions are large and the food is presented well and is tasty. Hats off to the Chef!However the atmosphere was uncomfortable as waiting on staff were stood around gossiping and on a number of occasion were sniping about kitchen staff. Having worked in many predominantly female staffed environments I understand that this does happen. However for the sake of professionalism ladies, save it for a more private area and do not subject customers to idle gossip. The selection of cakes available is a further issue. Clearly bought in and looking like they have been sat there a while, the cake display certainly leaves a lot to be desired. However on their Facebook page there is clearly a photo of a lovely, inviting cake display. Surely this is false advertising? I have spoken to a number of customers who have either stated that they have never seen the display looking that good or it was clearly a one off. Not sure why. As myself and my friends enjoy an afternoon of coffee and homemade cake we will be continuing to take our custom to Forget me nots around the corner. A real shame as Quench could be so much more with the size of it's seating area.

Lovely clean , bright and airy cafe. Staff are so friendly and courteous and can't do enough for you. Plenty of room for prams, buggies etc and the staff are eager to help those who need it. The menu is very reasonably priced and is going to expand soon. Food very good.

Service was fab however I thought the food selection was very limited and there are other places close by which I feel are better value for money.

This cafe is run by a niche Christian organisation. It's a real shame that they do not stand by their religious values. They do not provide access for disabled patrons. Mums with prams will know from experience how difficult a small kerb can be to navigate and that's an able bodied person. I've tried to enter into a dialogue with them which was going quite well but then .... they suddenly went quiet and removed the thread and will not discuss the matter further. I was hoping to help them out, free if charge, as I have almost 30 years experience in the care sector. The last eight years managing a 2 million pound budget providing disabled adaptations, that would include ramped access. They explained to me about guidelines but I'm more aware than Quench that they're for guidance and there are ways of working around problems There just needs to be a will to do so, something that so far, Quench are sadly lacking. My friends and I will patronise an establishment that is inclusive of all community members.

A local resident enquired if they have a ramp or temporary ramp but they don't so we couldn't visit to try the food unfortunately. We will if they put something in place as we fancy a bit if Cajun! Some of the other shops do in the area but not this one.

We dropped into this cafe to have a Saturday breakfast with some friends. The atmosphere is bright and airy. The tables are well spaced and we were not cramped like sardines. The service was fabulous, with the staff waiting on us hand and foot! Above all, the food was delicious and well priced. A real gem of a place!
