The best restaurants in Hale Central Trafford North West

From the minute we entered to the minute we left we had an extremely positive experience. We were served by angela - who couldn’t do anything more for us. Her customer services was excellent and she was a very welcome person. Also, we were served by the lovely Sofia who again, made our time there comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious and was everything we asked for. I would highly recommend paying a visit and we will definitely be visiting again! Thank you Riva Team ❤️

This is a really nice cafe. Lovely atmosphere, whether for coffee, brunch or for an evening drink when open as it is on Friday’s-best check the latter. No better in Hale-highly recommended, whether for friends or family!

Amazing restaurant. We were staying at local premier inn prior to holiday and found this fabulous place on Trip Advisor. Gorgeous restaurant, small but beautifully decorated. Good choice menu. Our waiters were fab, kept a careful watch and brought drinks and food in good time. I had chicken stroganoff light, tasty, beautifully seasoned, husband had carbonara again full of flavour and with a delicious sauce. Puddings amazing profiteroles for hubby and Black Forest cake was out of this world, light chocolate cake with delicious filling and gorgeous Cherries. Must visit place if your in the area.

Outstanding experience at Riva, Hale yesterday evening. We travelled from the Liverpool city area to visit with friends and the experience was worth the effort. The specials menu contained beef wellington which I liked the sound of but was a bit reluctant due to concerns of the quality of the meal. How wrong Inwas to have any concerns. The beef wellington was outstandingly good. Perfectly seared fillet of beef, beautiful pastry and a slightly smoked jus served with mash and vegetables. I cannot remember a meal that I have ever enjoyed so much. The depth of flavour and quality and attention to detail of the cooking justified a much higher price than the £40 it actually cost. Once we had finished eating the head chef actually came to chat to ask for my opinion and if I enjoyed the wellington as it was a first as a special. The passion and enthusiasm of the head chef told me everything, he loved what he had produced and told me all about the processes that he uses and how he sources his ingredients which are all locally sourced. Never before have I experienced such passion and enthusiasm and it was such a wonderful experience. Whilst my wellington was outstanding so too were my friends lamb rump and rack of lamb. Great evening in a lovely restaurant with outstandingly talented chef.

I love this cafe for catching up with friends! They always have really good cake, it’s a lovely friendly atmosphere and we can take the dogs in with us. The evening events they do are really good too!

I'd eaten here before and loved the food. This time I ordered a take-away for 4 people, spending over £80. We all had different dishes. One of our party had prawn curry, and was ill during the night with vomiting and explosive loo visits. I emailed the restaurant the day after (6 December) to report what had happened and ask for a response, but to date have had no reply at all despite a chasing email. Not what you would expect in the light of what happened. Will not be returning.

Great food every time, always speedy from order to arrival, and staff are always friendly. Special shoutout to the attentive Corinna for this particular visit. Can never go wrong with a brunch trip to Juniper.

Makloubeh and Mujadra were simply amazing. Everything arrived in a perfect condition and I would definitely order again.

In general meal here was okay and the sushi ordered was tasty and fresh. Sadly as the restaurant was cold and a few dishes were overpriced for the size it’s not somewhere we’d return to.

Very quick delivery and friendly service. Food tasted great with good flavours. Variety meant something to suit everyone.

The food was excellent. The service was mostly very good. Only a couple of gripes. The apparent maitress de was wearing very strong perfume which can upset. A topup drink was forgotten. Food-wise the food was excellent and very tasty. Not overly large portions but I accept food establishments operate on small margins and costs have gone up.
