Amazing restaurant. We were staying at local premier inn prior to holiday and found this fabulous place on Trip Advisor. Gorgeous restaurant, small but beautifully decorated. Good choice menu. Our waiters were fab, kept a careful watch and brought drinks and food in good time. I had chicken stroganoff light, tasty, beautifully seasoned, husband had carbonara again full of flavour and with a delicious sauce. Puddings amazing profiteroles for hubby and Black Forest cake was out of this world, light chocolate cake with delicious filling and gorgeous Cherries. Must visit place if your in the area.

I've been twice this weekend to celebrate my partner's birthday, and both visits have been very enjoyable. Excellent pizza, excellent pasta, and delicious tiramisu & semi-freddo deserts. It was good to see Il Trullo busy on a Saturday night but we were the only ones in at 1pm on a Sunday which is a shame, considering Il Cibo & La Famiglia had diners, despite their mixed TripAdvisor reviews. The service is also friendly and unobtrusive, definitely recommended.

This place is an absolute treasure. Warm, friendly and most importantly outstanding, delicious food. There are the places to be 'seen' in Hale and then there are the places to EAT in Hale. There is none better than Il Trullo. Highly recommend the beef fillet and beeg tagliata and the aramcini are incredible. The quality of the ingredients shine though and the presentation is beautiful but most importantly the taste is exquisite.

Fantastic food and attentive service. We were torn between traditional Sunday roast but in the end, three of us opted for the sharing plates and one chose the delicious tasting bowl of authentic pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was warm and friendly. If you want a change from all the insta friendly places, preferring instead to focus on authentic food, great service and supporting an independent business, give it a go. You won’t regret it!

Our first visit to Il Trullo, a small upstairs independent Italian restaurant that could easily be missed (close to The Railway pub in the Village). We are locals and have done all the restaurants in Hale and Altrincham and find many (not all) of them pretty average. Il Trullo however serves great quality tasty food supported by excellent service. We both really enjoyed our meals and will definitely return 🙂

You must visit this place if you are looking for great authentic Italian food at a reasonable price with great friendly service. I can honestly say the food was exceptional - the special salmon & asparagus risotto was sublime!!! If you dine out in Hale and love Italian food please give this place a visit - you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Hidden gem, narrow unit which could easily be missed, luckily we found it! Menu reasonably small with traditional mains and also a 'smaller dishes' menu where you get two-three per person and share. The quality of the food was simply superb and staff so friendly. Only gripe is prices a bit on the high side but not unreasonable. My pasta was lovely and the calzone is absolutely huge!

Fantastic food and really good value. Called in on the off chance they had room, so glad we did. Lots of choice in Hale but so this is hidden gem. It really suits the use of loose it phrase. No chain, just a small family restaurant that needs support.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Atmospheric though not noisy like many places. Excellent vegan menu in contrast to many Italian restaurants who just offer vegans some pasta with tomato sauce & a plain mixed salad. The grilled vegetables with mint were delicious as was the pizza & vegan apple crumble. I didn’t try the vegetable stew though it looked very nice. Highly recommended

This is such a lovely restaurant in the middle of Hale but without the noisy background that you get elsewhere. Great staff, amazing freshly cooked food and and lovely atmosphere. We were a group of seven and all agreed that it's a great place to go.

I dined here with friends we had a fab evening. The food was all delicious we went for the small plates and shared. All dishes were cooked and presented beautifully the scallops and cod were my highlight. Wehad bread fish and veggie dishes. The service is great very friendly and attentive. Wine prices are reasonable and the wines were lovely. We will def return and would highly recommend am excited to try the pasta and pizza

My wife and I went to “il Trullo” restaurant in Hale for Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant is small but very nice and very well decorated. The food was very good and the staff very kind and friendly. Highly recommended, we will for sure be back. Thank you

So disappointed with this restaurant. Went tonight for my dad's 80th birthday. I thought it was a safe bet based on the reviews, but I was wrong. Pros first: polite, pleasant staff, nice decor, nice house wine. The main meals were nice enough, but my husband's lasagne arrived really burnt, so had to be sent back. They then said they'd run out of chips. My dad and I shared a few dishes from the sharing tapas type menu. King prawns in Parma ham were really overcooked. Beef cheeks were nice, lamb skewers were overcooked and chewy and the scallop dish arrived and had only 1 small scallop sliced into 3 with some salami under it. Looked like 3 10p pieces for over £9. Would not recommend sorry.

This is one of the best italian restaurants in Hale. It is indeed a small place but it is a family run business and the food is just amazing.Mirco, the owner is the chef and he always makes sure that his customers are having the best experience. We have been here several times, the place is cosy and welcoming, all the dishes that we have tried were so tasty.We were impressed by the quality and freshness of the food. Mirco makes his own fresh pasta for the cannelloni, lasagna and tortelloni and you can actually taste the difference. It is like actually being in Italy. We noticed that they have a fixed menu 2/3 courses for the whole month of December and also a Christmas and New Year menu. If you like good quality food and cosy atmosphere this is the place.

The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve had around here, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. I loved the family style of the restaurant too. What a great little find! The restaurant is on the first floor up a flight of stairs opposite the clock tower in Hale. We visited on a Friday night for a family birthday celebration. The food was beautifully and expertly cooked and presented and the service was really attentive. The children’s portions were incredibly generous and went down a storm. I’d really recommend the seabass and salmon and all for incredibly reasonable prices. For a relaxed, reasonably priced night out, you can’t go wrong!

We're from Hale and though we'd try here after reading the good reviews. Ordered for the first time tonight and was truly disappointed. The food has tasted pretty standard but the portion sizes have been very small. The crab pasta had no crab meat and was not enough food for an adult.

Now this is different for Hale! Understated, quality original Italian food, no fuss no ‘Cheshire’ on my doorstep. Nice to meet the owners and chef. I think this will be a secret to save for your best friends / dates.

Delicious food home cooked and the restaurant owned by the chef, his mother in the kitchen and his wife front of house. Kid yourself no more this is the real deal and delicious- a must try !!!!
