I love coming at this place because it's the best pizza place you can find. As someone who has spent time in Italy I can safely say it is by far the best and most authentic pizza around.

We went to your restaurant in Urmston booking a table for twelve and the service was excellent, everyone was served at the same time and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The one thing was that I struggled to cut the pizza and realised later that it wasn't cut by a pizza wheel which would have helped me considerably. The next time I visit the restaurant I will definitely ask them to slice it for me. Otherwise a brilliant experience

Visited here for the first time on Wednesday evening around 6pm so it was quite quiet. We ordered two pizzas and a rocket salad. The pizza was nice not the best I've had but not the worst. The prices are actually higher than double zero in Chorlton (out favorite Roman style) Also not sure about the parmesan cheese used in the rocket salad either, the service was good. Overall a good experience I just wondered about the price and some ingredients. Will try again when it's a bit busier.

Delicious food, especially that bruscetta (how do you make tomatoes taste that good?! The chef's a magician). The service was very friendly, and there was a nice homely atmosphere. Good value too - we got 2 starters, 2 pizzas and 2 alcoholic drinks for £50.

Good pizzeria with friendly staff.

It was one of the best spot that I found after a long day. We were starving. We ordered three pizzas: Boscaiola, Trevigiana and Primavera. Children loved them. My 4-yr old ate half of Primavera! Great stone backed dough, and fresh ingredients. We also ordered ice creams. Chocolate and strawberry scoops were very nice, but the pistachio scoop was a bit bitter. We had a great time overall.

Surely one of the finest Italian pizzeria I have ever tried! The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients, lovely recipes and peaceful atmosphere! We had Trevigiana, Primavera and Boscaiola. All nice and delicious! The staff are very friendly and nice!

Pizza to die for. Not cheap but worth every penny.

We placed an order for our team last week, and although it was only a take away, the service was fantastic (and the pizza of course)! The owner is very personable and threw in a few extras as it was a big order. Great service!

We have been wanting to try this place for a while now as Pizza is my favourite, it cost £27.00 for two pizzas!😲 I Was very dissapointed as they missed the Chillies off both pizzas, Definitely not worth the money.

Friendly, authentic, pizzeria. We've only been in the restaurant once but have had many deliveries via shocal. Menu is very pizza heavy, as you would expect, there is not a huge choice of sides or starters but the pizza options are extensive. Taste is good, seemingly quality ingredients are used, and the pizzas are hot and fresh. On our visit to the restaurant the service was prompt, efficient and friendly. A good addition to Urmston's food offering.

This evening was our 4th time eating at Leoncino pizza Romana, the pizza was delicious as always! We travel from Littleborough (Rochdale) to Urmston just for the pizza, and it never fails to impress us. The staff are so friendly; we never feel rushed, great atmosphere, very safe and clean and a good spot in the centre of Urmston. Would really recommend eating here, we'll definitely be back again soon!

Great service and all done to current regulations. Hand sanitiser on every table. The food was really good, not had a pizza this good in a long time! They were massive too, really tasty and good value. If you like your pizza then this is not a place to miss

Fantastic pizza and excellent service.

I decided for a long time that id rate it below mulinos as in comparison it offers less variety in starters & mains. However I went again tonight and the pizza beat my opinions into the dirt. If you want pizza in Urmston flip a coin between here and mulinos. No loser whichever way the coin falls. It's a blessing to have such a delicious restaurant in walking distance. Only tip is say is decor wise - look more high end ie dark wood etc. The food outmatches the decor 10/1.

Only serve pizzas. Pizzas are on a par with Domino's. Nothing spectacular. No ambience. Felt like a canteen with a few uncontrolled, loud children running around

So we had an evening without the kids and decided on an evening out in Urmston... thought we'd give this place a go after I'd seen it on the socials and it looked like it should be good.. Gotta say we weren't let down, the service was great as was the food! Leoncino Is town quality in the burbs and probably as good as quality as the best in town 👍🙂

I'm no authority on Italian pizza but I know a bit - as the establishment name suggests, this is Roman style pizza, not the currently trendy/popular Neopolitan style. Both quite different and with their own merits, but if you want a quantitative insight then you can ignore the reviews claiming that this is "authentic Italian pizza" as there's no such singular thing. The base is more on the crisp side, and to their credit appears to be cooked in a proper wood-fired oven (not gas fakery). Sauce is also fine, but nothing special. Let down by the toppings - they seemed low quality and not very flavoursome (possible supplier issue?). Overall, certainly not bad, but not amazing either. A decent pizzeria should live and die by its margherita where there's no place to hide with poor ingredients/technique. Service was very friendly but clearly inexperienced - forgivable at the point we visited as they hadn't been open long. Needs to improve in the long run though. Inside was a touch sterile, the lighting needs thinking about (too bright), and something done about the door opening right in to the street - just cm away from diners. Overall it was fine - and we will give it another go - but I'd be wary of the rave reviews calling it "best pizza ever" etc. In my opinion it falls way short of the other Manc options (Rudy's, Double Zero, Honest Crust) and there is even a slightly better option locally (Mulino). However if you really want a decent Roman style pizza I'd struggle to think of anywhere else.

This was our first visit, Great food, nice decor, lovely staff, the only down side was there seemed to be no heating on two of my friends had to wear there coats,( so did a few other people) hopefully the next time we visit we wont be as cold.

Literally the best pizza I've ever had! 😱 Totally delicious... we had a truffle oil, parmesan and mushroom one (to die for) and a gorgonzola speck one (amazing too). Friendly owner and lovely environment, good prices and they do takeaway too. Will 100% be back! Well done Leoncino!!

If you like authentic Italian pizzas this place is a must for you. Nicely furnished and decorated, Leoncino is located in the centre of Urmston, just a few metres from the station. We were welcomed warmly and invited to sit anywhere we liked (it was a quiet Monday evening when we visited). The menu is small but had a good selection of pizzas to choose from, along with a number of additional toppings. We started with a very light bruschetta, which was nicely sized, followed by two huge pizzas, which were light, freshly prepared, and tasty. The house lager was very nice as well. A very enjoyable meal, and we'll definitely return.
