Cinnamon in Trafford

We’ve been lazy recently and ordered via delivery sites from other restaurants and the food has been disappointing so last night we ordered from Cinnamon over the phone and went to collect. Omg the difference was incredible. The food was outstanding such tender chicken and beautifully cooked. Highly recommended as simply the best around . Thankyou for reminding us what great Indian food should taste like!

The Cinnamon Restaurant in Hale is the best Indian out of the other three in the village. Food excellent, staff friendly, atmosphere fabulous and the price is so so reasonable.i love the restaurant. Jaki and Margaret

Three of us popped in to Cinnamon without a booking on Bank Holiday Monday. Staff couldn’t be more obliging, finding us a table even though restaurant isn’t exactly huge! We ordered 3 soft drinks (Coke in proper glass bottles!) along with light & fresh poppadums & three delicious curries. The chicken & lamb were meltingly tender. Portions are so generous; one portion of rice will easily do two people. I asked for a glass of water & a lovely jug appeared moments later. Whole experience was 5*. We’ll definitely return.😀

This is our favourite Indian restaurant for eat in and take away. We have been eating here for years and the quality of the food is just fab. Always lots of it very tasty dishes and wonderfully tender meat. Thanks Farooq and your team

What a wonderful place, came from rochdale to visit the area, and stumbled across this restaurant in the area. Upon entering was welcomed with such a warm atmosphere. The decor was perfect, not to jazzy but not to plain. The staff were so friendly, had a good chat with them all not just the one. The food was 10/10, compliments to the chef the food was so nicely seasoned, you could taste all the flavour, and they gave fresh salad. To top it off the food wasn't just slapped on, but instead very neatly presented regardless that it was a takeaway that I ordered, which you rarely see in restaurants. Will definitely visit this place sometime in the future to dine in. Don't miss out if you ever go past this place. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The staff are lovely here. I go every week now because I love the food and staff are always very polite. I’d personally recommend the chefs special Balti chicken tikka jalfrezi as is a perfect mix and always done perfectly.

Cinnamon is the perfect resteraunt to go to with family or friends. I’ve eaten in a few times but mainly collect a takeout. The staff are always really friendly but the food is the big seller. The food is always made to such a high standard. Prices are very normal especially for the quality

Inexpensive full size portions. Care at all levels is evident. Brilliant take out and eat in. No preprocessed meats, Unlike others locally. Chicken is breast, lamb has been in works for a few days, and is Taste evident. ...Update after a few years of service. Simply excellent. Still un-rivaled, sure not on deleivero (cos they dont need to be) but get your steps in and collect :) When fresh herbs and spices are used you can really tell.

Had another lovely meal here last night. Didn’t book but went early. Superb service and the food was absolutely delicious. Wish we lived nearer so we could go more often! We both had a king prawn dish and it was amazing! We will definitely be back!

We,ve been here a number of times over the years and never been disappointed. 6 of us went on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. As usual the staff were attentive, the food excellent and well priced. There was too much to eat at one sitting so we took home 'doggy bags'.

Cinnamon saved our New Year’s Eve experience! We had to walk out of another restaurant after waiting over an hour to be seated at our booked table. We decided to see if Cinnamon had a table free and they were more than happy to oblige. Service was attentive and friendly, very nice food and great selection of drinks. Would gladly go to Cinnamon again!

Thursday 17th Nov, evening around 6.30-7.00pm. Very friendly welcome, not too busy, but mainly couples and takeaways busy, seem to have regular clients, nice atmosphere. I asked for a recommendation and without delay after describing my taste, I was recommended the chicken pathia. It was excellent, full of fresh ingredients and spices and the chicken melted in the mouth. My wife had vegetable biriani cooked nice and fresh to perfection and a healthy serving of masala sauce. Garlic nan was flame grilled and very fresh and tasty, not greasy. Service was very efficient and friendly. I think we have found a new favourite! Highly recommend.

My experiences with Indian cuisine are down to two less than impressive visits to local spots in Chicago. Last night at Cinnamon was virtually life-altering. I was left nearly speechless trying to explain to our host how beautiful my dishes tasted. While the food was delightful, it was the people who made the visit most memorable. Our host was delightful, bartender and server most accommodating. Everyone made us feel like we were welcome in their home. While there is not much time remaining on my visit, I hope to be able to sneak in another visit. Thank you to all at Cinnamon for a lovely time. Hale is lucky to have you.

Have visited several times and always receive a lovely welcome and first class food and service from Faruque and his team. My favourite is the delicious mushroom biryani but Faruque is always happy to create a menu according to your individual preferences. Highly recommend.

Warmest welcome back I’ve experienced. First time back in a long time - covid obviously. Met with the warmest of welcomes and hearty handshakes. Sat had a beer then reminisced whilst waiting for our food to arrive. Needless to say the food was gorgeous, service impeccable and realised its great to be back out.

I go here often as the food is delicious and modestly priced. Along with the extremely friendly, welcoming waiters and convenient location The Cinammon is by far the best Curry house in Altrincham/ Hale for me😊.

Myself and my family have dined at this restaurant for many years and we were thankful that it remained open providing fantastic takeaways during the long months of lockdown. Whilst it has always been a great dining experience at Cinnamon, if anything, since it reopened fully the food has got even better. I am enjoying gradually working my way through the wonderfully varied menu, the dishes are clearly freshly prepared to order using high quality ingredients. I would recommend the Tamarind Chicken and their Balti Jalfrezi for anyone who likes their curries with a kick! They are not just spicy though, anyone can do that, it is the complexity and balance of flavours achieved which sets this restaurant apart. Cinnamon is a little more down to earth than most Hale eateries but is all the better for that as they concentrate on the quality of the ingredients to provide a consistently outstanding dining experience. Not only that but the staff are brilliant too, very friendly and attentive with nothing being too much trouble.

Visit here regularly for both takeaway and dine in. Lovely, freshly cooked food and excellent choice on the menu. Particular favourites are Hyderbadi Gosht and Lamb Pathia. Used to in Portsmouth and would always take dishes back with me. Friendly service, staff very friendly and good selection of drinks. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Best curry house, if not best restaurant, in Hale! Recently visited for a dine in and the food was exceptional and fully Covid compliant.

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and not once has the food or service slipped under par. Beautiful dishes no matter which one you order and the service is extremely warm and friendly. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, best restaurant in Hale Bt a mile

I have no idea how the food here is. I have never bought anything from their in my life but my new smart phone the first I have ever owned and don't really understand works, has for some reason, asked for a review. The place is awful, the food is boiled and without flavour. Hopefully this totally rubbish and contrived fabrication is enough to remove this request for a review from my inbox.

The whole family love the Cinnamon. A parenting milestone when I took my son there for his first curry age four! Still going back years later. 👌 Food is lovely, quality is reliable, beer's cold & staff excellent. Can't wait to going back to dining in but surviving on the takeaways.

W've been having takeaways from here since the start of the lockdown and it's been marvelous. But ever since they 'changed' their menu (hardly), the food tastes not as good as before. I guess they've changed their chef? It's a shame because it has been our favourite... definitely much better than other Hale and Altrincham Indians... Let's hope it goes back to what it was before.

Saturday night so it had to be ai Indian, lucky we booked a table because it was very busy. Ample selection of dishes on the menu so it took time to decide. Good selection of wine. Food was very nice with good portions, waiters were friendly. Wax a reasonable price.

Extremely rude staff. Don't know the meaning of customer service or hospitality. Bein an Indian I am extremely sad to see them use the word 'Indian' to describe their restaurant and not see them follow what the culture actually represents, how much value 'hospitality' holds in the Indian culture. Much more sad to know how they are misrepresenting our community to the outside world.

it's my first time, with a bunch of colleague. Great cosy little place for Indian food in Hale. Not the cheapest but you'd expect that being in Hale but he owner is fun and food are tasty. Recommended for a nice dinner.

Had a collection, very friendly on greeting incredible food, the lamb just melted in your mouth and the bread tasted and smelt freshly baked, the whole meal was amazing, you even get posh mint chocolates branded with the restaurants name on to end the meal, very impressed service and food outstanding 😊 two 1st time very happy customers that will definitely be returning!

I had a sumptuous feast and the King Prawn Puri, and Lamb Vindaloo were utterly divine. The service was attentive but not intrusive and I dined alone early and then groups of couples families and children arrived and there was such a happy atmosphere where all felt special and comfortable. My taxi firm messed up my pick up and Zac, who knew I had little sight stood with me for 30 minutes outside finally getting the taxi and he guided me across the road and helped me in; courtesy and genuine brotherhood. I unreservedly recommend this culinary gem.

The wife and I had an overnight stay in the Mercure just round the corner, but didn't fancy anything that the hotel had to offer to eat, so went for a walk to find something else.We walked into Cinnamon and were given a very warm welcome and shown to a quiet spot. The staff were very friendly and polite, and our order was soon taken. First impressions were very good, immaculately clean, a warm atmosphere, and a wonderful spiced smell in the air, unlike quite a lot of places.The food arrived quickly and all I can say is "Wow!" the flavour was amazing! There was plenty of it too. I've had a lot of curries over the years and I would not hesitate in saying that this place gave me one of the best I've ever had. If you're in Hale and you're after a fantastic curry, then head over to Cinnamon. The food is amazing, the staff are brilliant, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Higly recommended.

Great food. I think that the food was even better than what you can get at most of the native restaurants in India. Oh and what a staff... Such a quick and diligent service. To sum up, you cannot miss this place while you're visiting Manchester, especially if you're Indian...

This place is amazing! All the staff are great and attentive! All the food came quickly and was absolutely superb quality, I can not fault this restaurant at all! We had to tip because the service was too good not to. We even told the owner how great this place is. The owner is also incredibly charming and friendly, up for a laugh. First time in Hale and if you're ever visiting MAKE SURE you visit this place! You will not be disappointed.

I've been to this place so many times now, always for eat in meals. Currys are always great, decent portions and reasonable prices. It's not a huge place but I prefer that. Staff are always helpful. Highly recommend.

Never been to Hale before and wasn’t sure where to eat but went to the Railway for a drink and noticed this restaurant next door, so thought we would give it a try. We live near Bradford so have many curry houses but the cinnamon was up with the top ones, fabulous meal lovely people and good price, will definitely go again if in the area.

The food was good not great.. service is nice, food served very quickly, staff was warm and welcoming.. But I really think they need to up their game taste wise, food was missing authentic Indian taste.

Cinnamon is one of the best Indian restaurants in the country. The quality of the food is second to none. The manager greets everyone like a personal friend.

Lovely Indian Curry diner (located a couple of doors down from Pizza Express) but does come with a hefty pricetag. Can be quite quite sometimes with most the tables full on a Friday evening. However take nothing away from the food. Some dishes are quite mild but where chillis is marked next to a dish on the menu can be quite spicy indeed.

We just asked for help to find the bus station and received a lot of information and even a small chocolate snack. Great people in here! As our holiday ends tomorrow, we will not have the time to come in and enjoy the wonderful food but if we ever come back to the area of Manchester, this will be the first restaurant to eat in.

Only been once but wow, food was amazing

Ate there as part of a large group / work related meeting. We were given the upstairs for our meeting and the service was spot on. The food arruved as soon as our meeting finished and was excellent, much tastier than the average Indian restaurant with just the right amount of spice. We ordered way too much food and most of us went home with a doggie bag. Mine was devoured with gusto by my family when I got homeland they all agreed on my verdict

The service here was very friendly and welcoming which pleasantly complemented the relaxed ambiance of the restaurant. The food overall was delicious but what really blew us away was the peshwari naan- I will definitely be back purely on the basis of eating this again.

Had Biriyani. Well cooked, tasted ok, but bland and forgettable. Biriyani should really contain mint in my opinion, it lifts it up. Otherwise it just tastes like rice mixed with a usual curry sauce.

We regularly eat in or collect takeaway meals from cinnamon. It is the best curry house in the area. I am quite particular and don’t eat meat. The staff always help me find something I like and cook it the way I ask. Everyone is friendly, the portions are generous and the price is very reasonable.

Loved the hygiene and food quality, can make out it was fresh, portions quite generous..I recall the staff saying "hamarey chef ka Dil badaa hain" :) Which means our Chef has a big heart :) About the ambience, light music in background..bollywood numbers.. I recollect ..."Dil Diya Galla" setting up the right mood. Place was busy with family friends and couples, defining a happy place to be in. Extremely friendly staff ... Being vegetarian tried 3 different dishes on different days, and had loved each time. Worth visiting this place for Indian Cuisine if you are in Manchester.
