The best restaurants in South Ribble North West

The food was quick to arrive and tasty as usual however the drink was forgotton. The delivery person said he didnt know if his manager would let him bring it back and then left which is ridiculous. We called the restaurnt and they said they would send it out to us. We had to call twice and 40 more minutes passed after receiving our food. Was willing to let it slide but the way they knocked on our door was loud and agressive which startled me and my family as it was 10 o clock at night. Service needs to be better and servers need to be told not to try and knock holes through doors.

The sweetcorn soup tasted like dirty dishwater and everything was so bland. Really disappointed.

Ordered food for delivery. Arrived around the stated time. Unfortunately food was lukewarm warm at best. Hubby had beef curry & rice, i ordered chicken chop suey. Im not sure what’s meat was in my food but it didn’t look or taste like chicken. The meat tasted shocking and had a spongy texture. The chips were over cooked & dry. We have had good previously which has been fine but not this time

Disgusting is all that describes this place. Revisited after 8 months and still hygiene is at the very bottom of their priorities. Even heard a manager telling a member of staff not to worry about the mess

This 'establishment is terrible. How it exists as a food & a beverage destination and under the banner of hospitality is a miracle. I cant describe the chaos and mishaps along the way with our experience. The menu didn't come any where near the menu on the web site that originally tempted us too book. We were told "oh yes we know it. is a mistake". To add insult to injury after our very very average meal we asked why the table next to us had what appeared to be a better menu it was explained they had the Christmas menu. Asked why we weren't offered we were told you didn't order it. We showed the them that our menus that didn't have a Christmas menu in it; so then it was just a shrug and "Oh dear, it was just a mistake"!! We were told there was no wine menu with no beer. How on earth this establishment survives and how customers tolerate this substandard service is beyond me and my guests. Even prebooking was terrible the web site assured me they would confirm my booking with in 24 hours and I spent the following day constantly phoning the restaurant to see if my booking was accepted. I could go on as there wasn't single part of our visit that wasn't a shambles. We did feel sorry for on young girl who was completely out of her depth. She was so willing , pleasant and completely untrained. I do hope she finds a better restaurant to work in where her obvious talents for hospitality and be used to a far better advantage. Its no wonder hospitality is struggling to find willing staff when sharks like the owner of the Courtyard Huntley are making a living out of fleecing customers and staff alike. I am perfectly happy to substantiate my review should anyone wish to contact me, especially the owner.

30 mins from order to door, coleslaw dated today - warm and tasted off and pizza stone cold!!! So much for a treat. Definitely not worth the money

Went in at 2:40pm today to get a make your own sandwich and they’ve packed it all away lady was extremely rude and said that they’ve packed it all away now. They close at 4:30pm why on earth have u packed the sandwich stuff away at 2:30pm in the afternoon won’t be going back.

We have used this takeaway a few times in the past and now have great app to order and collect. On new years eve at 8.09am, before I went to work, I ordered our usual for collection at 1 8.40. When I went in the guy had about 10tickeys but none under my name. I had the order confirmed on my tablet but he said bluntly 'no order'. My whole family ended up with toast for tea as other establishmenys busy too. I'll never use again.

Ordered today at half 3, order came at 5. Cookie dough was cold and had spilt everywhere. The worst cookie dough I’ve eaten, I only had 3 spoon fulls before throwing it away.

Best pub in Leyland, not many traditional pubs left, landlord and all staff and everyone that goes in there are so friendly, great prices also

I love the dil raj so much, I crave their curry all week. I even dream about eating their delicious chicken madras. 😁

Total confusion behind the counter, said their were no sides so offered replacement, then they found sides, wrong drinks given, chicken missing from box meals, for the second time. Really slow service. Won't be going back here again.

Lovely room, view was amazing and great hotel. Didn't have food here but will definitely eat next time we r here. Will definitely be back

Every time I have gone to the drive through here I always have to wait in the bays as the food is never ready and then the food isn't fresh
