KFC is overpriced now and the quality of food is getting worse every week and overall is very poor value for the money

Burger bun seemed to be cooked via pannini press as it was flatter than a page and slighty burned ontop, the chicken was tasteless, no pepper available and condiments had to be asked for. Fries were not signature fries but rather flavourless season less regular fries, the only thing that was correct was the gravy. Server had zero charisma will not be returning.

this kfc is absolutely diabolical and horrific. they refused to sell my friend his food because he was a child. this is an absolutely stupid rule that should not be here. it took them 25 mins to serve him his food after alot of persuading.

Just returned from KFC Lostock Hall (a 10-minute drive from home) with a Zinger meal and a 10-piece family bucket, only to find half the pieces missing! Called the store immediately and was put on hold for over 15 minutes while I could hear staff arguing in the background. The phone then went silent. I tried calling back several times, but no one answered.This experience is incredibly frustrating and completely ruined our family dinner. The lack of customer service is unacceptable. Never again!

Chips are terrible and chicken strips really tuff to chew I won't buy from them again the place has gone down hill need to get a new supplier of chips and only 2 people in the place diabolical.

Good is good, staff are nice but it does take a while for them to put the order together. Lots of delivery drivers and people wating to quite cramped.

Ordered a zinger,sweetcorn,chips and beans and a bargain bucket for 13.99with the total 21. 49 approx to be told no beans. Ok I will have chicken gravy I said without receiving an apology. So I get home no sweetcorn no chicken gravy. Quite frankly a treat night that bloody ruined in every respect. Rang up and got a code for some freebie cheap meal on my next visit. Mistakes can happen I know but this was pure carelessness.

Nice place. Friendly staff but my last two of three orders have missed items. A gravy box with no gravy and a meal with no wings. I don't want to have to check my order; it's on the screens for them to see. I can see it. How is it so complex? Fair enough they sort it out when you come back but I don't want to have to. Store is on a main road with no parking. Nice staff.

Placed order to eat in, was told to sit down and would bring over, received drinks after 20mins. Thankfully another person waiting heard them shout an order and asked if it was ours. Order was wrong, i went to counter and told the young lad who'd servered us. He spoke to guy who order up, who blamed us saying we'd ordered what he'd made. Unfortunately, the young man had made a mistake, he opologised to me but older one carried on being arrogant with younger staff member. Another staff member spoke up and told him to just make up the right order. I said we couldn't wait another 30 mins, so to bag it to go. The young man brought the new order and said he'd been told to ask for the wrong order back but told us to take them home with us. Once home we realised the order was wrong again, they also hadn't given us fresh hot fries or gravy. We have had issues before but never complained, this time i will be doing!!! I won't go back to that KFC again!!!

Girl served me called Lila she was dead mean and threw chips at my head and kicked a kid across the room. Other than that decent day out.

Love KFC don't like the shop. The popcorn chicken was dry been there a while. Delivery/pick up get preference. So expensive 3 kids 1 adult £28 😳 the staff seemed disorganised, the tables were dirty.

You used to get 1 chicken leg and 1 x breast when you got a 2 piece meal. Got the leg and more like a small thigh piece. The coating was dry and crunchy. Chips limp, Definitely not worth the money ... over priced. The other takeaways that are doing chicken n chip dishes similar to kfc are much cheaper and quality is better. Things at this kfc franchise definitely need to change

Chips limp chicken pieces small and coating had none of there famous spices on them, coleslaw very bland and for the price very disappointing would not recommend and certainly will not be returning

Just a quick note to describe my experience of the competence, care, understanding and knowledge of standards at this branch of KFC. Ordered a Boneless Banquet and 2 Vegetarian Rice boxes. Waited for 10 minutes whilst food is being prepared. Then saw a member of staff putting all my order into one large bag. Calling out to another member of staff for the vegetarian rice boxes. A cry of misunderstanding was heard... "What. You wanted veggie ones? ". Oh no.(Yes, they had made Zinger ones instead.) Less than one minute later, hey Preston my meal was ready. Questioning the earlier commotion I had overheard, the member of staff told me that they had made the wrong ones and that totally new ones had be made up in record time. I opened up the rice box. She has told me a pack of lies. I mentioned this work of fiction and was told that they would make new ones instead. I could not get into her head and she did do seem to grasp the concept of contamination or the error they had made. I asked for the Manager. He seemed to be as disinterested as her, just kept instisting that all was well as we were being made a fresh order. Not one iota of the concept of the major error that they had made, the lack of care, cross contamination, the fundamental folly of feeding a vegetarian food which had once touched meat. Useless clowns, who I would not trust to run a bath.

Not worth one star but had to click to be able to post! It’s not the first time have ordered from here and although it is normally good, the last few times have been far from ok! The orders have been wrong,I’ve paid for priority delivery and still waiting and hour and then not received what I have paid for!!!! Far from ok and will not be ordering from here again after to many chances!!!!!!!!

Ordered 4 mega gravy box meals, never again sadly RICHARD was too lazy to make some more fries and had looked like he picked up a scoop of chips, threw it in a box and took the rest of the 3 box meals to the back to distribute the chips, I had about 8 chips in each box. He also looked like he spits when he talks… this is appalling for £5 each. However Cyprian was a speedy worker and looked generous with his servings.

This used to be the best KFC in the area, However following my visit yesterday I would now class it to be the worst. One redeeming factor the young man serving the table was pleasant and friendly and attentive a pity the rest of the staff could not match neither could the food.

I ordered zinger burger meal, large gravy 4 hot wings. I received 9 chips, that looked like the previous days left overs. My zinger burger was dry, with the lettuce in the box, not on the burger. I only got 2 tiny hot wings, and 2 pieces of skin battered. The 2 young lads preparing and serving, seemed totally uninterested. Totally disappointed, and will not be returning to that branch again.

Ordered at 7.40pm still ringing store at 10.10pm cos no order arrived. Store never answers. Just eat tell you to call store. Absolute joke and £24 out of pocket.....disgusting service.....cheese on toast it is and will try for refund tomorrow

Absolute shambles. Went in at around quarter to 10, 15 minutes before close (enough time to serve) and got told that I might as well leave…

One person serving, one person putting the food together and queued all the way round the shop. To top it off was like a youth club, with kids telling staff that their order was wrong. This was at lunch time. Also like many other KFC establishments the chicken needs cooking a bit longer or being allowed to rest a little. Next time I'll go hungry

Freezing cold and filthy inside. One of staff (Cyprian) was loudly complaining about the smell of off chicken in the fridge. The kitchen looked every bit as disgusting as he said- if the food had been for me I wouldn't have bothered. Took 10 minutes to order and 30 minutes to get food. The staff are clearly struggling.

Ordered with user boneless banquet for 1 and zinger meal plus chicken. Never seen such small fillets and lucky if we got 10 chips .won't be getting again and won't use uber again as all food was stone cold

Whilst they were managing very well with how busy they were, for the second time in succession they have left all the dips out of the dipping banquet. We won't be back.

Just ordered a chicken bucket with ‘creamy mash’, coleslaw and gravy. Received baked beans instead of the mash!!! Have tried to contact the restaurant for the last 30 mins but nobody picking up the phone. I know all kfc don’t have mash, but if Just Eat let’s me order and pay for it then in my mind it’s available. To not answer the phone is disgusting.

Just as you would expect, the only slight negative was that although I was the only one waiting to be served - all staff were busy getting online/phone orders ready so took about 10 minutes before I was acknowledged.

Imagine ordering a fillet burger meal with chips, gravy and a drink and you literally only get the burger what a joke! Then I ordered my partner a mini fillet burger as well and we never got that. Can't believe half the food is missing. Didn't plan to spend 25pounds and still be hungry because they didn't send most of the food. Ring up and can't even get through I will not be ordering again

Worst KFC ever had! Totally got the order wrong and wasn't driving 8 miles there and back to replace it. Majority of it was wasted.

Generally like KFC, but this one was not a good experience. Food itself was okay once we finally got it, but it took a while just for them to take our order, which was strange because it was empty. Forgot to give us our drinks too, which we only realised when we reached our destination, so couldn't go back for them.

Ordered a Medium Popcorn meal , with fries and a fruit shoot. I checked and the order arrived with no drink. I said I'd paid for the drink and would like delivering , he said it would be 6 to 10 minutes. Great I thought , it's now 24 hrs later and my meals going cold waiting. Not even a call back, is he still bringing it ?? Poor service to not even reply. Hopefully the fruit shoot is on its way this week sometime. 🙏 How can you read a receipt with it clearly charged for and not even pick the correct order, yet confirm to the driver it is all good to send.....🤔 Also a service charge, so I'm actually paying for a good level of service, yet receiving a poor level of service.

This place is horrendous the worst ever. Kentucky fried chicken so what do you expect-chicken. They did not have any. Going here was out of my way but then i had to make a gigantic massive long winded detour to get somewhere that actually sells decent food. Never ever ever ever ever ever will i come here again. Please give us a free meal (We did enjoy our pizzas from another supplier btw) Please make a change and at least have some chicken there. My workers were disgraced at your service.

Spoke to a supervisor called Cyprian. Needed some questions answering about KFC's store policies and he was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much to this lovely lad for helping me out. Such an asset to the company. Knew all the answers straight away and was more than happy to help me as much as possible. Please thank this lad again for his support.

Absolutely awful - will never return to this store. If I could give it Zero stars I would have! The Chicken was dry, overcooked, tasteless - had to throw in the bin. Chips were soggy and undercooked, they went in the bin too. Gravy was like glue, had to put in the bin too, as was worried if I put it down the sink it would have blocked the drains. Second time I have been here - and for a second time the staff were arguing with each other and their customer service was shocking. Have put in a formal complaint in to KFC.

Placed an order for delivery, for starters they'd run out of chicken, so we ended up with just Kentucky Fried. After finally choosing our meal, a full hour before close. Hour and a half later we get an 'order cancelled' email. As a diabetic, I need to medicate half an hour before eating once the confirmation email came through that's what I did. So now I have a low blood sugar and need to order and wait for something else.

No parking. You can throw your car somewhere at the back of terraced house at someone's parking and then walk around. Long waiting time.

Not good place 2x rice box with extra fillet they only did 1 so had to ask about my order then got only 1 meal with extra fillet and my first meal was put in warmer so lettuce and stuff where warm, won't go back.

Walked in to see three teenage girls awkwardly staring at me and no one taking my order for a minute, gave me one less chicken fillet than asked for, only got 5 pieces of popcorn chicken and they didn't give me my drink, hurrendous

Terrible meal from here, this place was the best in Preston 2 years ago, what happened? 2 meals in a row cooked in old oil, the coatings were very dark 😳 The chicken was dry as well. Someone needs to go in there and sort this place out, i will not be returning unless they do. 🤮

I just want to say a big thank you to Lee. I ordered what I thought was the 9 piece offer for our son who is autistic , only I hadn't realised it was for the fillets .our son cannot cope with change . So he changed it for a 10 pc bucket meal and I paid the difference . But even though it meant him taking the time , when they are very busy , he was so polite and helpful and a real credit to this KFC branch . You have a good asset there . Thank you again .

Pink Chicken! Told me i wont feel sick after just eating it, i think just the thought would knock anyone sick anyway, multiple customers were unhappy with the waiting times, mine was quick cause it wasnt cooked through. Only positive was I got a full refund, which wasnt offered i had to ask. Been twice before and never had any issues but it wasnt great food, so goodluck people.

Honestly just drive to the one of the Docks the employees are incompetent and prance around listening to music on their phones instead of doing their job. They haven’t had fried chicken the last 3 times I have gone....

I really would have to give this place 0 stars if it was an option, half my order was missing when it was delivered and KFC in Lostock Hall did not want to know when they were contacted. There are plenty of other options locally for chicken and I will be using these in the future or if I really want KFC I will travel to Preston docks or Chorley. My advice is to avoid at all costs

Long wait times regardless of it peek/off peek times. Bonus it has a small sit in section, again main focus is small with about 10 tables.

Every time I order off uber eats I always end up with out my drink or one can what's wrong and the size of the chicken is pathetic I will not be ordering again

Ive just ordered a take away from here. Im not happy.It was a very rare treat for my kids.......This is not the first time our order has been messed up by this branch of KFC.We had food missing AGAIN!!!!The staff need to check orders before dispatching the food.Wont be ordering from them again......TERRIBLE SERVICE.very very disappointed.......

Been many times, but this Tuesday was awful. My son's popcorn snackbox had about 10 pieces of popcorn chicken and about 12 chips. My wife's 3 piece meal had one undercooked piece and very few chips and my chicken was dry. Plus the screens in the shop were damaged

What an Absolute JOKE of a place! Came today - 15/05/2022 at 17:30pm - should have realised when I went in a guest was saying she had been there nearly an hour! any way waited to order with 7 other people 3 in front and 3 behind to be told we haven't even got enough chicken for the orders we have you will have to wait 30-40 min so I walked out and so did the other people thats potentially £140 in revenue you just lost - I got outside and then decided to go back in and ask for the manager as the team just looked so un enthusiastic in fact the boy who was trying to take the orders thought it was funny that we all walked out, she was clearly inexperienced did not even offer an apology - the team just looked completely demoralised and like they did not want to be there - this comes from poor management - being in the hospitality industry myself if I ever felt my team felt like your team looked then I would resign - You should be ashamed of your self for not giving your young team the training and time that they deserve - I am passing on this review to your HO as Team should not be made to feel like they looked - this all boils down to very poor management! If I could have left ZERO STAR I would have!

Shocking every time. Fool for returning? Possibly but i love the food. jesus christ though they miss at least one thing off an order every time. Stood at the till for 5 minutes waiting to order before being acknowledged they weren’t even busy they left all walk in orders till they’d done brand new delivery orders that came through after the other walk in orders and they didn’t give us our two large gravy’s staff have no idea what they’re doing was waiting ages

Waiting time was horrendous, card machine didn't work, the tables in the time I was there were not cleaned, all the take away drivers were sat on tables and standing around waiting for orders, which in turn made the place look untidy and grotty, it made the place cramped as there were at least 7 drivers just milling about waiting for food orders , it was a shambles to be fair, would I go again, probably not

Shocking food cold missing half of the order

Ordered a bucket meal on Saturday night through just eat and yes I know its a busy time so didn't mind waiting as we both have covid at the moment and couldn't go to collect it ourselves. So once again the order we received was incorrect. We ordered two regular fries and one gravy with the bucket plus an extra gravy. So only one gravy arrives and four regular fries..... tried to ring them straight away to let them know but No one answered, so once again I am out of pocket and cant even get an apology. Wish the staff could or would just read the orders correctly in the first place. Rant over....

The branch wasn't that clean it felt drab and dreary, the staff were very self absorbed, I did get served quickly, when I got back to my car and started to eat the WOW box I bought it was far from WOW more like dry and stale the only item that was OK was the fries, the chicken was dry and luke warm the chicken burger the same with a nearly stail bun total disappointment 😞

Terrible service. Waited far too long for my order and good job I checked it at the car .Wrong again. Mighty bucket for 1 was what I ordered . I got a small box with a few chips in the bottom. 1 wing,1fillet and 1 piece of chicken. How can they get it so wrong. When I took it back they said it was correct. Eventually penny finally dropped and no apology given. By this time my other item tower burger meal was well getting cold. The staff are all miserable Too busy fulfilling delivery orders to give any kind of customer service to people going in the shop personally.

Food is typical KFC and friendly service. There is often a very long wait. They have a small kitchen and restricted menu if you order online. Currently, I couldn't order online and collect myself. Be aware that you are only served after the delivery services have been dealt with. Very frustrating.

I've travelled the world over the years and visited many KFC restaurants and this is by far the worst one. Both in terms of services and food quality. 25min wait for 2 meals, which was cold when I started to eat it 1min after buying it. There seemed to be 7+ staff working but no one seemed to know what the other one was doing. At one point I heard one staff member shout "Wheres the supercharger sauce" to which another staff member at the back of the kitchen shouted back" I don't know, I can't find it, think it's lost". Honestly the worst KFC I have ever been too. The KFC in Lagos Nigeria is even 5 stars compared to this one. Major re-training needed urgently at the establishment.
