Tesco Cafe in South Ribble

Excellent lunch, will order again.

The cups piled on the serving counter were covered in flies soI asked to hv my hot drink in a "take out" cup and explained why but the till operator did not acknowledge my comment. There was a notice advising cakes, though not on display, were still available. I presume for the same reason.

Large pieces of egg shell in the food

Most of the staff are lovely, very helpful. Sometimes there is not enough staff and it is hard for them to be as efficient as they like. The food is generally good. I have seen staff go out of their way to help struggling customers.

When visiting the cafe with my grandaughter, she spilled her hot chocolate on the table m, floor and herself. She was really upset. I asked for a cloth and a man working in the cafe cleaned it all up and kindly brought her another hot chocolate with cream and chocolate buttons. How kind. Big thanks to him

Yesterday first order brilliant, today food stone cold so had to reheat. I would have thought thermal food carriers would be used especially st this time of year.

Best egg and sausage muffin had all year, tasty sausage and egg perfectly cooked. Toastie lovely and crispy, no soggy bread. Delivery prompt and no problems assigning a driver.

Food was good but not what I ordered.. got a mushroom and avocado instead of egg with my breakfast lol

My order wasn’t even delivered and it shows delivered

Disgusting food cold not cooked , take my advice avoid like the plague Plus the staff were rude

Complete wrong order sent - no contact number to be able to speak to anyone - driver said they would bring correct order and told me to make contact through app and just never returned, so had to order from somewhere else and am awaiting a refund.

Came in for breakfast. Ordered breakfast and an extra toast to share with my 2 year old. Extra toast came without a smile, asked if the breakfast was coming, the member of staff said "you haven't ordered a breakfast" I said I have ordered a breakfast, her reply in a rude Manor "well its not on the check" Had to prove it on my receipt that I had ordered it!!! Breakfast came out didn't get an apology for not believing me!!. Food wasn't great even cut through my microwaved sausage! It was that rubbery! It's only good for convenience as nowhere else to eat in that area! Staff need training on their customer service. Me being a restaurant manager would not allow my staff to be this way towards customers!!

Ordered a take away of 2 bacon and mushroom barms when it arrived it was cold and had one slice of over cooked burnt bacon on one barm no mushroom and on the other barm was one slice of fatty under cooked bacon. For what it cost and with delivery and service charge I would have hoped for better and more pride taken and at least 2 slices of bacon on a bacon barm. Come on Tesco shape up!

Came in at 12.55 and they were not serving food a member of staff said the kitchen was bummed but I’ve sat here for well over 25mins and seen 3 meals come of the pass and 9/25 tables in use and 5 have meal deals for instore also still waiting for the table to be cleared even tho the two floor staff are no longer serving food

Nice place to sit and have a brew whilst feeding my baby. Very helpful carrying my tray to my table for me

Wow just had the ultimate breakfast barm was amazing and served by a lovely pleasant lady. Highly recommend here always fantastic food and Managment and Staff smiling and polite.

Ordered our our coffees and a kids meal with a miserable lady (dark hair tied back slim) When the kids meal arrived she walked up to the table with a death stare on her face handed the burning hot plate to me didn't say anything and walked off. No warning the plate might be hot or enjoy or can I get you anything else she didnt even hang around long enough for us to hand the table number back to her. Disgraceful service

Well the lady on the till appears to have been trained by Basil Fawlty! She couldn’t be more miserable if she tried. No eye contact Not even a hint of a smile No please, thank you Zero engagement. I had a tuna panini, which I think had been microwaved. £3.95, tasteless, all bread & little filling, no finesse in serving, just on a plate, not even a serviette. Coffee was terrible too, no crema & tasted burnt. I don’t expect Michelin food in this type of place but a bit of politeness costs nothing. No excuse for the assistant to be so miserable. I won’t be repeating this visit in a hurry..

Came here on a Saturday for a quick lunch in between vising and doing the weekly shop. Had a toastie, a muffin and a latte. All very good and reasonably priced.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Needs more healthy fitness related nutrition options. Currently the only thing I'll eat is the healthy breakfast.

Went to breakfast and chose from the "Pick your own" menu. I chose bacon, poached egg and plum tomatoes, only to be told, "We have no plum tomatoes"???????????? Isn't the shop full of them?????

£6.25 for a breakfast Hard eggs, everything well over cooked or reheated Not even a brew or slice of bread like any other cafe Then sat under the heat lamps for 5/10 minutes before someone brought them over Wasn’t very good

Having done some shopping and while waiting for the bus I decided to have tea and teacake in the cafe. After waiting for the staff to stop ignoring me and stop talking about the previous nights drinking ,and looking at the ordered food sitting congealing awaiting delivery to the poor unsuspecting customers I was served my tea and teacake ordered. The next obstacle was to find a clean knife and then a clean table no luck there. I took out a wet wipe and cleaned them myself. The upside to this rant is the teacake tasted good with plenty of butter portions to cover said cake.
