If you’re in Buckshaw Village, definitely check out The Mill Cafe at Charnock Farm. It’s got a cozy, laid-back vibe with great views of the farm. Perfect spot to chill and catch up with friends. Pleasant break in the journey to the Lake Distrct. Comfortable seating with paintings by local artists on display also quirky clothing items for sale.

This was our first visit to Charnock Farm. Lovely setting but the service and food would benefit from improvement. The chips were delicious, cheese bacon burger was OK, had much better elsewhere but the lasagne was a little burnt and scorching hot in places but lukewarm in others like it had been overheated in a microwave. I found the service rude, unlikely to return.

Called to the Mill pub originally but they didnt open untill 11am so we nipped to the cafè. It was empty but cosy. Various breakfasts and barms Teas coffees etc Vegetarian breakfast was egg hash brown beans toast tomato. Nice cosy place.

Went to the railway with a group of friends on Saturday 8th March for the bottomless brunch. There were 5 of us in total and we were not disappointed. The staff ensured our glasses were never empty which kept us very happy! Great selection of cocktails to pick from and the food was lovely too! Couldn’t fault it definitely value for money. Thank you guys :)

This used to be a lovely place but has really gone downhill. The building needs tlc to say the lest and on our last two visits the service has been poor. Won’t be going again.

I’m so disappointed to be writing this review. We have ordered from them almost weekly for years. Tonight is the very last time we will order! Ordered at 7:15, website said delivery would be 8:15. At 8:45 it still hadn’t arrived so I rang them. I was told it was already on its way. No apology for it being late. They are ten minutes from me. At 9:15 it still hadn’t arrived so rang them again. Again completely unapologetic. I said I wanted a partial refund, at least delivery charge and they point blank refused and said a two hour wait is fine! No, a two hour wait is ridiculous!

Ordered food for delivery. Arrived around the stated time. Unfortunately food was lukewarm warm at best. Hubby had beef curry & rice, i ordered chicken chop suey. Im not sure what’s meat was in my food but it didn’t look or taste like chicken. The meat tasted shocking and had a spongy texture. The chips were over cooked & dry. We have had good previously which has been fine but not this time

I love the dil raj so much, I crave their curry all week. I even dream about eating their delicious chicken madras. 😁

Usually have good food from the Dilraj, but lately their dishes are far too greasy, even the tandoori stuff is swimming in oil. Probably won't bother in future

As a frequent Starbucks drinker, i decided to nip in this drive-through whilst passing. When I tell you I was given the WORST latte I have ever tasted I am not joking—frothy burnt mess. Nearly £5 for an un-drinkable coffee. Cheers 👍

Was my first time in England and really wanted a coffee I don’t usually drink another drinks because I have lactose intolerance in S. Korea don’t usually have free lactose milk so that is why thinking in that I ordered Americano with extra 2shots (5 total) but I couldn’t even taste the coffee was just like water with dark color so I add extra 2 shots and finally it tasted as coffee 😂 and the cookie super dry… as barista this is an insult 😤😂
