Dilraj Takeaway in South Ribble

Usually have good food from the Dilraj, but lately their dishes are far too greasy, even the tandoori stuff is swimming in oil. Probably won't bother in future

Hi just a quick review of the excellent food at the dilraj every curry I have had from here has been great and is usually issued with free poppadoms and dips also it is an open kitchen so you can sit and watch them prepare your food.

Rang up to place an order for a banquet! Even though I wanted to replace a side order for a cheaper sundries order, I was told the owner would not allow, but it's cheaper I told him, not allowed by the boss I was told again! I therefore cancelled the order and will never darken their doors again, what business sense does that make!

Loyal customers til now!Rang up to place an order and told would be 1 hour. Waited 2.5 hours...rang up...they'd forgot!!! Then turned up no apology...nothing to say sorry..just 2 usual poppadoms! Then opened box to find half the order missing! Rang up and told they might try to get it over. Might! Appalling.

Love indian food I am never ill not missed a days work in years Ordered a meal for my self and family from this place Collected Took home and dished up I had Lamb Samber (not Tikka) with Pilau rice with Peshwari nan bread Eaten at 9pm Did not eat it all thank heavens as the alleged lamb was very tough and did not taste like lamb The Peshwari nan only had coconut in no fruit 1-30 Am woke up with nasty taste in my mouth stomach hurting ran to loo were I then stared being violently sick, this went on for over an hour, as well as being sick I was sweating from head to foot, I was vomiting so much I damaged my throat and was unable to take proper for the next 3 days When collecting I noticed how scruffy the staff were, wearing dirty civilian clothing no chefs whites or even a clean white coat all had the wool type hats on as when in the street. Never again Lancashire's worse take a way

We ordered a take out Sunday night took half hour to come good food we had chicken Bhuna and lamb tikka and it was absolutely delicious always good what ever we gave had excellent service 👍

I have used this takeaway on numerous occasions and have always been very happy. Tasty food cooked fresh, and good service.
