Hallmark Grill at Hallmark Hotel Preston Leyland in South Ribble

The food you can get at the bar is very poor quality and full of oil. The nachos are made with some weird liquid plastic cheese. The lasagna feels like it has been microwaved to the nth degree ... it is better to get in the car and go the distance to get a decent meal rather than eat here.

Lovely evening meal, it was tasty and well presented, 2 courses and a glass of wine for 2 for £39.00. The staff were attentive, well presented, polite and courteous a very enjoyable evening.

Firstly I have informed the waitress, more about her later, and the management. It’s the 25th April 2016 at 15:18. 20 minutes ago I ordered a steak sandwich for £13:95. For that price I was expecting one of the greatest steak sandwiches in history. The anticipation was high. Unfortunately so was the disappointment. It was literal. Piece of steak between to pieces of toast lashed with a pinky yellow sauce. Menu states it came with skinny fries, one received crisps. Menu states it comes with salad, it came with just lettuce. Informed waitress for the price this is awful. Her reply, cue roll eyes to the ceiling “hmmmm oookay”, was waiting for the ‘whatever’ hashtag to arrive. Why get a job in the service industry if your only interested in serving yourself. A tad under £14 for a steak sandwich. Judge for your self from the pictures attached. Hallmark your daytime menu/prices/presentation needs rework. The waitress requires further training.
