Would have been more since I lived in the area for a little bit but no..owner is an old drunk who hates anyone born outside of this village saying simply "I don't like you" as a reason not to serve you.

"You made me miss" if ya know you know...

This is a friendly and welcoming little pub. Small, but it has a pub cat. Surely that’s all you need to know. A pub cat. He’s very accommodating, if not friendly. Proper chonky fluffy lad. Otherwise, a couple of gaming machines and a pool table. Gaming machine has Slots of Luck: Rainbow Gold, which is always a bonus. Pool table is a pool table. Also darts. The beer was Madri; Spain by way of Tadcaster. An average lager. The crisps were roasted Ox. Outdoor area for the summer. Not for now though. 🍻

I've only been there for pool match, but the atmosphere was great even though we were the away team. The young lady behind the bar was very polite and friendly, and her service was impeccable. Great place.

Of course I loved it, I don't go out often but when I do I go here for the chatter and laughs because I know a few people who visit. And I'd obviously had a drink or two but it was only cooking lager. Still, good times. 😁

Called in while visiting distant relatives, and the pub seemed a lively hub of the village. Everyone seemed friendly but the cat stole the show!

I have visited this quiet pub a few times and the interior suits my personality. Good beer and prices with sports television, darts and pool. Everything good about this pub.
