Really enjoyed the food it was absolutely beautiful

Staff and food very good. My wife is Coeliac and the staff were on the ball in understanding and knowledgeable about gluten free.

After leaving voicemail and email requests for information, to no avail, we get here, and the place is closed and for sale. Great job, Google. Still showing it as less busy than usual.

AAAA This is still one of the first and best 5 Star hotels a simple place to relax away from busy shops etc and enjoy in luxury. Please update the hotel food choice as can be limited..

James produced a fantastic menu for New Year’s Eve. LRK was a first visit for the family and we were truly delighted by the whole experience. Apart from the nice welcoming and exemplary service throughout by the staff, the dishes were of the finest quality produce and presented beautifully. It was impossible to identify a favourite dish they all were full of imagination and lovingly put together. Fully recommend. Thanks

Food and service both excellent. Had the 4 course lunch menu, snacks and bread made meant we had 7 dishes in total. Every course was explained by staff and it was great to see Chefs coming out of the kitchen to serve and describe some of the dishes. We had a drink in the bar to start and coffee in the lounge afterwards. Some of the best non alcoholic mocktails and infusions I've ever seen, including a delicious 0% espresso martini. Will definitely be back, was a great experience, so relaxing and left feeling very content.

We moved to Ambleside not too long ago and Dodds has become a firm favourite. My wife loves the lasagne and I enjoy trying all of the daily specials. Would highly recommend

Lovely menu with some great choices, I had a Buddha Bowl which was fantastic, good selection of drinks, super friendly staff and a cracking location. I would recommend you try it out..

We had a lovely afternoon meal at Misto and it was a fantastic experience! We tried the spicy meat pizza and the funghi pizza, both of which were absolutely delicious. But the real standout was the halloumi fries – they were hands down the best we’ve ever had! The restaurant itself was clean, cosy, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to go back for another meal! Highly recommend this place!

Superb hotel. Spacious, beautifully appointed room with private patio looking out onto stunning views. Warm, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was excellent. There are plenty of walks, the lake and lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants. We especially loved a visit to Dove Cottage to find out more about Wordsworth! Can thoroughly recommend a visit to Grasmere and a stay at The Grand.

Ordered 2 flat white coffees… took 20 minutes to make…. Coffee was way too hot to drink, it was bitter.Employ a Barista & they will know haw to make coffee, how hot the milk should be & how to clean your coffee machine….also your Barista can teach the owners how to run a coffee shop

Popped in for a quick coffee and cake. Zeferrelis is a cut above all the other cafes in town but is the most reasonable. Some of the overpriced 'chain' establishments charge an arm and a leg for mediocre coffee and bought in cake. Zeffs has an amazing pastry chef and it shows, yet the prices are the best in town

The food was absolutely grim....tough tasteless fried "chicken Kiev" with fried burnt crumbs stuck to the coating....they had the audacity to call it a special 😂😂😂 it Was especially vile and I could taste the chip pan. Avoid unless you are absolutely desperate.. You'd be better off going to the Tesco express for a pot noodle.

Always look forward to visiting The Apple Pie. First visit since they changed to counter ordering but no issues. Process was efficient and accurate. Just when you thought that toasting was the best thing to do with a bath bun, they've now got bath bun French toast with cherry compote and whipped cream. Wow. Like a bath bun bread and butter pudding but light and fluffy. This place gets really busy and a bit chaotic in season due to its popularity but in mid-Feb was brisk enough to have some atmosphere but without the hustle and bustle.
