The best restaurants in Preston North West

Considering I thought we had taken a wrong route and was in the middle of a business park what a surprise it was like a dream the most fabulous bakery I had ever seen, so clean and shiny, full of yummy things cakes both large and small, pies of all sizes butter pie is Dave’s favourite, gorgeous sandwiches and salad boxes, I could go on …. We were recommended to try the Coffee Renoir OMG so lovely, we also got some pies both hot and frozen, a great big cherry pie as we are visiting family at the weekend and quite a lot of other stuff, we will return and will also visit their other outlet listed on the web page, I would like to mention the two lovely ladies who greeted us very warmly (this makes a huge impact in business) their name were Joanne and Leanne so friendly and so helpful

Can’t understand the really bad reviews, just collected my order and good was as good as I’ve had from any other Chinese takeaways in Preston.

Just been to mcdonalds drive thru. The guy on the speaker was lovely and tried to up sell just as he's meant to, was lovely on the first window but that's where the good customer service stopped. Got to the second window of the drive thru only to be ignored straight off. Then when the guy brought the food over, I had to ask for the drinks as they were missing. Got the food home only to find the chips were cold, unsalted and looked like scrappy end not proper fries. Drinks also had way too much ice in it too. This place is going down hill rapidly.

I go to this cafe regularly. Food is great. The staff are lovely and very helpful. However, there are just not enough of them. But the atmosphere is great and it is still a very pleasant place to go for lunch.

Avoid at all cost and visit Costa on the retail park Shocking service from Cayla spilling half my shot of coffee and not replacing and saying “I’m only human when mentioned “ dirty cups coving tables and told no cups available to drink inside awful service can see why only 2.5 on trip

Waited in que for half n hour. People arguing with staff. N getting fed up. When we finally got food it was stone cold. Didn't want to wait any longer. But not going there again!

Positives: Nice looking bar, eclectic mix of music, friendly staff. Negatives: Sky high pricing - no need for a £6 price tag on a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale - it's Preston, not London!

I went with my son to buy a meal for him and I noticed that the fries were only half full. I asked for a top up and he came back with even less than before. I told him and he replied I work here and thats all you are getting. He then go's on to say that all you people are the same. He was referring to me being asian. I thought it is better I get out of here before I do something I will regret afterwards. This he did in front of my 4 year old son. Definetly will not go into this branch anymore. Deepdale retail park.

Hello, ordered food last night which took over 2 & half hours to arrive. It came barely warm, the chicken fried rice was wet & mushy. The salt & chilli chicken pieces were totally different with pieces of carrot in it. Not polite or helpful on the phone, had to call back three times just to get our food. The guy actually hung up on me as I was speaking to him. Used to be really nice but will not be ordering from you again! Would not recommended.

Asked for a regular portion of fries and this was how much I was given and when I said this was a very small portion I was told, that she’s only obligated to give me 4 pieces. I have ordered these multiple times in other locations and got almost 4 times as much as this. Absolutely ridiculous, they portion and the service, the other server was very apologetic but still unacceptable

Food was fresh, hot and delicious, moreover it is well priced.

Hadn't been here for a while but chose to again and the memeber of staff was really friendly I didnt get their name, previously last year when I came I found the staff really rude but not any more

Worse food i ve ever had, cold hot dog in stupidly over sized bread roll ,reheated chips, the weakest hot chocolate i ve ever tasted and it was nt cheap,, it was garbage do nt know how they stay opening selling rubbish like that,, cold hotdogs are a health hazard,,avoid

Go here ALL the time but this last couple of months it has been dirty, no staff and the food for the price is disgusting and the portions are shamefully needs a complete over hall ! Even the staff serving the food look embarrassed! N Rickmond
