Food came two hours late paid £20 for chicken and rice that was stone cold and looked like tinned dog food absolutely awful INEDIBLE !!!!!!

Good place to eat from and food is always nice , food is always cheap and nice staff is friendly and helpful.

We walked inside the shop and the woman immediately looked like she couldn't be bothered to serve us. She had 0 manners and was extremely rude to us. the fact that she gave us ONE garlic sauce between 2 meals is absolutely ridiculous. I did mention to her that we normally get 1 garlic and 1 chill sauce per meal but she kept refusing and saying that you only get 1 sauce between 2 meals . I mean come on, we are paying £8.79 per meal and they are giving us 1 sauce. its ridiculous if you ask me . then, as we were leaving the shop, she shouted across the shop and told us that we have to put our rubbish in the bin. we normally put our boxes in the bin, however this time we were absolutely appalled by the service and if she asked us nicely, we would've done it without any issues. NEVER going back again.

I went in today during a lunch break to get some food for a takeaway. I was told the food would take 10 mins and it took around half an hour. After collecting my food and going back I realised I had been given the wrong order. I called them up and the woman who answered refused to believe I was given the wrong food. I then asked to speak to the manager and he told me I was lying about the wait time and he’d check cctv cameras which I told him if he did he’s realise I was being honest. Further to this he said sorry there isn’t much you can do you should’ve complained inside the store when collecting your order, which is obviously impossible as I took the food out the store and only opened it when I got back. He spoke to me with so much agression and rudeness and was not helpful at all. I don’t recommend visiting this place specifically the preston branch as the staff and service are ridiculous. They’re rated a 2.5 star rating for a reason. There are so many other better chicken branches around preston.

I was only half hungry so I said just 1 lot of frys, i got a look of the lad making them because it was a small order , it cost 1.49p and it was tiny about 30 frys if that , so I say can you put a bit of sauce on them he says ye but I will charge you for it, they tasted alright but that's a bit silly trying charge you for squirt of sauce and 1.49p for thirty frys , next time I will just go across the road to the other rake away 1.20p for a big tray of frys with as much sauce as you want

I order frys and chicken burger they said 4.30p I said its not its 3.99 they said its .30p for the SALT !! what planet are they on ?? charging .30p for salt and the burger was MICROWAVE TO DEATH !!!! and then they tried to rip me of on my free drink by NOT !!! giving me one , the place is an absolute disgrace refreshment as good as across the road is 10 times better

Hi, I am shiuly, i used to work in pepi's piri piri preston branch,but after doing 10 days work over there the person (who is managing this branch)sacked me when he got another person. When i asked for my wages the person told me that the period was training period but he didn’t mention this to me at the time of my starting work and i got nothing instead of doing so hard work and effort that i put last 10 days because i need money but the person cheated with me when i went again over there to ask for my wages he said to me that i won't get a single pence from him and he always does the same thing with others and no one can do nothing with him he has power etc,even he mentally harassed me over there for my wages and i was literary crying and asking for my wages that time the person told me that if i can make him happy in other way then only he will pay otherwise not but i denied his dirty offer and as a result i vested my valuable time and effort having got nothing.i want my wages it’s my right they have cc camera footage that how the person used me over there and removed me without a single pence.

Was super tasty food, really friendly staff, clean and very efficient :) will be going back again :)

Portion size was small for the price, burrito was tiny and not the nicest tasting imo. Staff were not welcoming at all. Went for extra hot but had hardly any heat to it. Table was filthy from previous people. Put my tray on the counter for them instead of leaving on the table as a nice gesture after I had finished eating and said thank you as I left only to receive a dirty glare in return. Chips were the only decent thing about my meal. Was recommended this place but I will not be returning.

Went to Pepes Preston for a family meal as I was staying in a hotel for 2 nights. A very small Pepes with only 2 tables. No high chairs so had to get puschair out. Took about 5 minutes to place order cos everyone was ignoring me. When we got the food they had packed it as take out, even though i told them im eating in. At this point around 10 young kids walked in and we didn’t feel comfortable to eat there so we took our food back to hotel. Food was nice, but just a rough area so be careful if you go there in evening/night

We order as a family from here maybe 2-3 times a week as the food is fantastic. Order on a weekend and you will be disappointed as you get told a delivery time but are waiting for a lot longer. We ordered at 6pm for it to turn up at 8:15 stone cold. I told the driver who was polite that we no longer wanted the food. If your a busy take away either stop taking orders after a certain capacity or employ more drivers. Overall the food is brilliant especially the chicken rice meal lemon and herb/hot but tonight I'm so pissed off with the service

Disguisting normally I enjoy and ignore the time it takes to deliver even though we live close by but this time in my wrap I found chewing gum. I bit into my wrap and I was minty so I I'm like that's weird and spit it out and it's all stretchy and gross.

This is now my 2nd time ordering from this place, the 1st time food was wrong and I complained, theres me thinking the service would improve damn i was wrong the 2nd time the food arrived 1 hour and 35 minutes after ordering and i was cold, absolutely poor and disgusting service from the Oldham Branch and the staff are absolutely disgraceful. When I spoke to the gentleman he was trying to fob me off and not even interested in my complaint . Never again will i be ordering from any of the branches.

Absolute 10/10 food every time iv ordered. Definitely one of the best take aways in preston. Chickens always spot on and the chips aswell

Ordered 30mins in advance, yet waited 35 mins after our collection time. Food was cold and dry and no apology. Staff were students (Kana and Upendi) and abrupt. No concession offered. Safe to say will not be returning ever again.

Was a regular at Pepe’s. Past 2 delivery of food has been to poor standards. The chicken rock hard, hardly any sauce on the chicken strips, even after complaining this is what u get 🙄

So we placed an order through just eat. Email said it will arrive 1 hour later. No sign of any food yet after 70 mins. Called them and got bill reduced by £2.20 but also got told it will arrive 30 mins later. 1hr 50 minutes later still no food. Finally got an email that order has been cancelled. Absolutely disgusting service. Safe to say we will NOT be ordering from them again.

I’ve just moved to Preston and I’m already a regular at Pepe’s and went again last week. I usually get the peri peri chicken with rice and it’s just SO GOOD. Staff are super friendly too and it’s good value for money. Love this place - keep it up guys!

As I am working over in Preston, over the last couple of months I have visited Pepe's on numerous occasions (around 9 times), trying something new every time. Their food has been on point every time, the chicken is juicy and so tasty, their XL burger is another level and the fries are superb. Their Chick N Rice lemon and herb with garlic sauce is the bees knees! I also recommend trying the chilli sauce, I can literally drink that stuff. My kids love their food too, I order them a couple of wraps (they're real value for money) which I take home (40 minute drive) and they still taste fresh. There's a helpful young chap at the counter who I have great conversation with too!

Dropped in for a quick bite with friends, and i can honestly say the food was full of flavour especially the Chicken XL, didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive.

This place is quite the spectacul when it comes to their food, a really divine experience. Waiter took my order and the food was ready within twenty minutes. The food was nicely presented and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Me and my partner eat Pepe’s As are weekly take away every week wings are always full of flavour and fresh would never order chicken from any were els better than Nando’s!

I usually love the food from Pepe's but this time I ordered a prime pitta and 5 wings and was told I got 5 plus and extra 2 free wings special offer so I thought great. Got home opened the food and the prime pitta was like a sloppy mess it just fell apart in my hands. Moved on to what I thought was going to be the wings but no opened it up and there were chicken strips in there. I don't like the strips so that was disappointing. Then found a small packet at the bottom of the bag containing 2 wings that were like they were crushed all the bone was mixed in with the chicken. Not happy at all.

Waste of money. Size of the dish is very small.. tasteless.Dont order.. you will be disappointed....

Chips were cold and not spicey as requested chicken was a very big let down!!! Ordered spicey but was not at all spicey!! Won't be back here very soon!!!

Delivery arrived after 1.5 hours, quoted wrong price over phone, extra hot chicken tasteless and raw rang to give feedback and received a barrage of abuse! Won't be ordering again!

This is a new place that has opened in the city centre and the expansion of the Pepe's franchise.
