Food arrived warm and friendly driver but kfc just isn’t like it used to be so a bit let down

Was the worse KFC I’ve ever had. It was not freshly made, it was that charred and dried out it must have been sitting for hours. Very disappointed that no effort was put in to cook to order. I’ve worked for KFC years ago so I know this is not the standard of food which should go out . Not sure if I would ever have it again after today’s delivery . Just awful.

I bought food today and the food was terrible I threw it all away I do not recommend it to anyone

Food comes out fast and in my experience is the upper tier of KFC quality. Service is amazing as everyone is friendly and able to get through the lines as they come. Shop is abit small so rush hours can be abit crampt and the area outside attracts some undesirables.

KFC Preston was all good on the phone when I enquired about my delivery which never turned up and was never delivered to me yet this email says it was so no I have paid over £20 and no food delivered I want my money back Now

Its 10 yeares since I last had a KFC Chicken burger & went here to reminisce. The fact is that all food that tasted better 10 years ago before the anti salt mob got involved, then portion sizes were cut to maximise profits, meat content reduced too (eg Frey Bentos pies, Findus Pancakes) - this was the same, tasteless rubbish.

I thought delivery? was supposed to be hot this was warm/cold delivered on time but out of no insulated bag! I don't pay for added extras for cold food!

Whilst the food is good/hot, and delivered faster, than most (including other KFCs) so would recommend, they have either recently been forgetting items - last night was two pots of gravy, what is the point of KFC without gravy - so won’t be ordering again

Items missing ordered 12 boneless chicken got 8 also chilli bites missing. Claim submitted but does help when we had to order more food in. KFC sort your staff and get more customer service right

Order never arrived listed as delivered at 15:30. Order was continued to be delayed once accepted and driver left a false delivery time.

Came into kfc to order food at half past ten and the girl told me they don’t have anything apart of 1 bit of chicken . And a few wings and a mini fillet . Customer service is a absolute joke yes I got my money refunded however it is obvious the staff don’t care and just want to go home I have never been treated like this in kfc in my life . Generally if you work in hospitality like I have at the highest level in 5 star hotels then get another job isn’t it

Food kept being delayed and when it finally arrived it was stone cold! Use this restaurant as normally the best locally but really disappointing. Complete waste of money.

Ordered through uber eats, food came with something red all over it, not sure if blood or dye from the bags, but obviously didn't eat

Food was the usual 4 star that I rate for all kfc. Service was excellent. The environment was not the best, not helped by a broken bathroom meaning that there were no disability facilities

food arrived in good time, halfway through we found a large red bristle for a brush hanging off a chicken piece, put us off the rest of our meal. Contacted Just Eat with a photo and they offered £2.59 refund . refused the offer. Shame as previous food from here has been good . Poor hygiene

To say it’s first one in uk you’d think they would take some pride in that. The staff are awful refusing to serve at the til and telling every customer to use the singular machine, despite saying paying with cash. Tried using the app for the rewards got told in August it wasn’t working and it’s still not in November. Finally the floors are disgusting, there are always wet floor signs up as if they’ve cleaned them but in reality it’s just grease for the kitchen that they don’t clean properly. To be such a historic spot for KFC it’s absolutely dreadful.

Hot food, quick service and delivery. Zinger tower even looked like the ones in the photo. Not much in the way of seating but managed to get two seats.

Cooked brilliantly and tasted amazing

The app told me that there was a courier at the restaurant for an hour. I rang the restaurant twice who said that no one was there and the food was ready. The food was an hour later than the original time (ordered at 5.15 delivered at 6.50) and arrived cold which is not the restaurants fault. We ended up going to another store and getting the same order, in the mean time our order arrived and we’ve ended up with double the food.

why was my food sent to the otherside of town when I just live down the road it arrived stone cold 🥶 £25 for stone cold food is not exceptable

I am so unhappy and disgruntled how can someone share 3 legs and 1 wig for a 4 piece meal. I would really like to know how to get my money back . The delivery personnel was great handle my food with care.

Missed two items, kind of used to that unfortunately, but just eat always help correct that. I know KFC usually work hard to get it right, it's never a big issue.

food was mostly hot but you could tell the chicken wasnt very fresh, which is understandable as it was close to closing time so no hard feelings.

She was incredibly friendly, especially with my 8-year-old child, answering all their questions with patience and a smile. Her welcoming attitude truly made our day. It's rare to find such great customer service, and Libby really stood out. Thanks for the excellent service – we'll definitely be back!

Very good. The usual kfc we order from was closed and I am glad it was. This one was much better quality and actually arrived warm!

All food items present and correct and delivery time was spot on. Food was good too.

pop corn chicken missing. not happy

it's OK asking for delivery code suddenly, when a driver drops off my food reason because I complained of missing items of a previous order. The guy tonight dropped off my order and asked for a code. i had to then say to him where is my drink? The point in all this is don't presume your customers are ripping you off. look at your drivers! And I am still waiting for being refunded from missing items 2 weeks ago

There were 9 pieces of chicken not 10 as advertised in the bargain bucket.

The delivery location set by JustEat, even though it had my exact postcode and house number, set the location 2 miles away, so my food could not be delivered to my address, once I had spoken to the driver, I stood in the rain for 35 minutes before he gave me my food, and it took several hours before I could even appeal, by which time I had fallen asleep, after work the next day when I went to appeal, I was told it was too late, for a meal that was dripping wet through, and completely cold.

Food was good and tasty, order was accurate and the delivery driver was friendly.

Popped in to Drive Thru at 4:30, got two box meals and food as well as service was THE BEST!! Lovely staff, especially gentleman at the window. Great experience!! Polite lovely staff!

So i ordered food whats pretty much expensive. Hot wings are old , meat is brown. Also burger meat wasnt first fresh. Only good ones was potatos. Before never had problem with food here but seems like hard no to me anymore.

The delivery driver was so patient and courteous. I struggle with memory problems and could not give him my 4 digit code for my order. Can't fault the driver. 10/10 for service.

Overpriced and Probably the worst KFC in England, poor customer service, dirty restaurant, and the food is terrible, it might be the first KFC but literally it is the worst KFC. I try to avoid eating or ordering here however my daughter loves KFC and she insists to have KFC while we are in the city centre, and every time my experience at this branch is very bad !

This restaurant is KFC's first shop in the UK. They hanged a story to the effect on a wall. Shameful how shaby, scanty, colorless, and lonesome such a historic monument is kept. A blot on the KFC brand & UK history.

Food was cold. it arrived on time as per the estimate in the app. the problem being the delivery time changed 4 or 5 times from 18.00 to 18.15 to 18.20 to 18.24 then 18.25 then 18.23 then actually turned up at 18.24. there was no tracking up to delivery it said food was being prepared so how long was it in the car for? for all I know the original estimate of 18.00 was right and the food was in the car since 17.50 ish

Kentucky Fried Chicken?… This place should be called Karen Fried Chicken! I visited this restaurant with my friend and his heavily pregnant girlfriend, she was in desperate need of using the restroom and the women behind the counter was obnoxious, well obnoxious is an understatement. She stated that the restrooms were for customers only, we obliged and offered to purchase some food… She then said that we would have to wait in the biblically sized queue until she could use the toilet because she didn’t trust us to buy something. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion!, an utter lack of compassion and customer service.

The food was about as cold as the drink was. Also why did they send 5 drumsticks out for an order for 6 pieces? Won’t order from this restaurant again…

the food was awful, it all tasted burnt apart from the fries in all honesty the fries were the best bit which is really sad, I didn't get my large beans and two small ain't the same size as large, I just gutted I can't get a refund cus I want to send this right back

This outlet, was apparently, the very first ever Kentucky Fried Chicken set up in Britain, in the 60's. It is remarkably tiny, and you would think with that unique heritage, they would have some pride and high standard. But No, very surly, lazy staff, all falling iver each other, yet there is continual and consistent neglect in keeping the tiny seating area, tidy, clean, with cleared tables. Not vert impressive!
