Overpriced and Probably the worst KFC in England, poor customer service, dirty restaurant, and the food is terrible, it might be the first KFC but literally it is the worst KFC. I try to avoid eating or ordering here however my daughter loves KFC and she insists to have KFC while we are in the city centre, and every time my experience at this branch is very bad !

This restaurant is KFC's first shop in the UK. They hanged a story to the effect on a wall. Shameful how shaby, scanty, colorless, and lonesome such a historic monument is kept. A blot on the KFC brand & UK history.

Kentucky Fried Chicken?… This place should be called Karen Fried Chicken! I visited this restaurant with my friend and his heavily pregnant girlfriend, she was in desperate need of using the restroom and the women behind the counter was obnoxious, well obnoxious is an understatement. She stated that the restrooms were for customers only, we obliged and offered to purchase some food… She then said that we would have to wait in the biblically sized queue until she could use the toilet because she didn’t trust us to buy something. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion!, an utter lack of compassion and customer service.

Very nice kfc the staff are so friendly when I'm eating here or picking food up for customer's as soon as to walk in when I'm delivering food it's on the counter waiting for me keep it up guys o and the chicken is also very nice to

This outlet, was apparently, the very first ever Kentucky Fried Chicken set up in Britain, in the 60's. It is remarkably tiny, and you would think with that unique heritage, they would have some pride and high standard. But No, very surly, lazy staff, all falling iver each other, yet there is continual and consistent neglect in keeping the tiny seating area, tidy, clean, with cleared tables. Not vert impressive!

such a cute little place! definitely not hidden due to the bright red sign outside and the illumination of the light inside!! ordering was easy and quick seeing as we came at 10:30pm, staff are very nice and friendly. there is also a seating area inside and cute wall decorations dotted about.

Great option to get food! Can’t really go wrong with KFC! Good staff and atmosphere, plenty of seats to eat in as well.

Missing food, tasteless food and overcharged

Its KFC. From the outside it looks like an absolute dump. Nice and clean inside, however the food leaves a lot to be desired. This KFC isn't alone on the quality of food, too much left being kept warm and doesn't taste freshly cooked. Chicken at lunch time is fairly dry, too long in the hot cupboard things before being served.

This was a great outlet for lunch, with real time orders shown at the counter and staff making sure to let me know when ready! I like it being the first UK KFC, phrases on the wall echo this and it could do with another kiosk though. BBQ Fillet Tower Burger meal was delicious, seating is comfortable as well as clean and service was a bit slow unfortunately.

The food was great ,my order was 4 PCs chicken meal, 2 pcs hot wings and one popcorn chicken large , I have requested for no wings , but they gave me 3 PCs legs and one thigh, that was small chicken parts and not enough to share as well , they should not serve like that ,

Six piece family feast meal from KFC Fishergate at a cost of £21! Six drumsticks, Rip Off Britain!

Restaurant was very dirty, and wrappers were all over the floor. Very small for the first ever KFC in the UK, and had no self service machines. Well placed next to the station, but would not recommend going if you could help it.

Popped here whilst waiting for a connecting train. 5 mins walk from train station. Food was quick & hot and service friendly. Toilet upstairs looked like a crack den.

The first ever KFC in the United Kingdom. Aside from that, it is your bog standard KFC. In my opinion the food has gone downhill in the past 3 years. The new chips aren't great, and the chicken seems a bit overseasoned compared to previous times I've been there.

Paid nearly £4 for my drink and mayo then they charged £3 pound to deliver only half my order. Disappointed. Will never order again.

As of 05/09/2023, a worker who I don’t know if I can name done amazing tonight, he was fast with the service and the food and I couldn’t thank him enough, I’ve gave him a tip and recommendation to his manager, if you see this worker, thank you bro you done great and thanks for the waters too, appreciate everything you done tonight. -Stephen

Very handy while walk8ng around town

Chicken only warm (not hot) and definitely not the best chips I have had in kfc (see photo) disappointed.

Little 4 Yr old girl was desperate for bathroom, seen toilets so decided to go in but on entering the man behind counter said I needed to purchase something before I can use them, wow so decided to leave and go to floor three for the disabled as didn't want to take in the males, and couldn't go into the ladies, but getting up there find out of order. Thankful a kind lady offered to take little one into ladies. Won't be buying from this store again.

This outlet was the first one opened in UK. KFC has to do some urgent renovation here by considering the pride and the history attached to it. Staffs are good service was also really great! Score card Ambience- 3/5 Service- 5/5 Food- 4/5 Staff's- 5/5 Overall- 3.5/5

Vegan burger was disgusting. It was soggy in the middle and hard on the edge. Inedible. At least the pigeon enjoyed it

It's a students' hangout. Very small space and great patronage. Besieged mostly by students. The staff is overworked and overwhelmed many times.

I wenI just walked in 10.30 PM. They are not giving Hot wings bucket 5.99. Said that its only till 9PM. KFC ear odean cinemas also open but closed.

1 star is too much for this restaurant ! When we walked in we were greeted by a dirty restaurant with discarded bones on the tables and general mess. The staff themselves looked like the homeless people sleeping outside. I’d suggest to KFC UK that this restaurant should be closed down until standards can be improved.

The service to be fair was quick but the restaurant was filthy the tables were dirty, the floors haven’t been cleaned properly for months going upstairs to the toilet the floors were filthy with chicken fat and slippy the stairs were black and the toilet shabby. What kind of business person doesn’t take advantage of the fact that it’s the first ever KFC in the Uk it’s exterior is falling to bits people should be travelling to eat there it’s shameful !!!

The foods were really good, the service was also very nice and welcoming.

The foods good but they didnt have any cups for a coffee for a day and I had to call somewhere else for it. then they didnt have any sugar the next day. Stocktake of beverage supplies needed. Staff are pleasant and friendly when serving though.

Ordered mighty bucket for 1 plus extra chicken piece. Got 3 drumsticks 😖 would of expected at least another cut. Really annoyed as not keen on drumsticks. Disappointed.☹️

Disgusting, the person at the till is dealing with money, he then sticks his hands in his pockets. I order two wraps and he does not even wash his hands. If you are concerned about hygiene avoid this place. If i could give it a zero I would. On top of that this place is filthy dirty.

Chips pretty dried up, chicken weird one the coating came of in one go as if wasn't heated up enough to stick to the chicken chicken a bit watery ( just about cooked) for proper kentucky stanard about 1 out 10 , theres a tall black lad who works there in the day . one mile an hour , looks like the world owes him favour sort your food and staff out

Ordered a trilogy box meal with chicken wings and I got 1 chicken wing with only the tip of the bone on it. How am I supposed to eat this so disgusting

Too many delivery guys hanging around blocking service. Lady who did serve us tho gave us exactly what we asked for. Thanks Tracy, our kids won't eat anything but thighs!

Ordered 10 pc chicken wing meal… got 8. Ordered a side of coleslaw…oh wait they forgot it the daftys, also the popcorn chicken was like packing peanuts what a waste of oxygen these people are.

Can't give more than a 3.9 or 4. It's a KFC after all. But I definitely laud the staff in there. They're very friendly and the service is quick (maybe that was because of the less crowd). Nonetheless, it was clean and I got standard KFC.

Seems to be a hit and miss here sadly, foods good don't get me wrong they've never poisoned me or anything but the chips are always cry, you get a roulette of whether or not the gravy is thick or watery and sadly its watery usually like today. And the chicken legs don't always have that beautiful signature taste, it's sometimes weak in flavour. Otherwise I can't really fault it entirely.

Went with my daughter, its always a safe bet a kfc 🍗 ☺..soon got served and seated on a very clean table 👌..staff very friendly and all had smiles and the team worked well together.

Service is quick and food decently prepared. Definitely been to worse KFCs but as with most of them the lobby seems to always be messy.

Very slow service no matter what time you go in.

They didn't take my order after payment was collected from me. I complained about it and the attendant looked confused. This was after about 12 mins after I placed my order and paid for it. Didn't get my food and lost 5 pounds too. And yes the people who came in after me got theirs.

Ordered a variety wicked bucket through Deliveroo. When order arrived the chicken fillets were missing and the six pieces of original recipe chicken were all chicken leg. I only eat the white meat pieces. Disappointed with the quality of the food that did arrive.

Absolutely no respect for the drivers at the end of the day we don’t work for u we the delivery driver does not work KFC WE work for just eat Uber eat or Deliveroo I would like to request the Manager to tell the staff we deserve respect like you guys thank you ✌️

I visited KFC Fishergate at opening time and had a great experience. Hot and tasty food. Fast and friendly service from all team members invovled. Special shout out to the young lady who served me, Hayley. Exactly how customer service should be! Thanks again.

I vistied KFC with my partner on Sunday 31st October 2021. Everytime we visit Preston, we go to KFC no doubt. I asked the girl at the till who was called MONIKA, which the meal is that has mixed chicken, and she told me straight away which meal it was and i placed the order, no messing about. I had to ask especially because i like having a mixture of different chicken and it all tastes different aswell. From then on i knew which meal it was and what i had to order. We always get the food quickly and is always fresh and hot. Thats what we like and makes us keep going back. I was well happy with her service and also she was very friendly and calm. She told me once i leave a review on my next order i will get 15% off with a code. Love KFC chicken. Thank you.

Absolutely disgusted in the service at Preston drive thru tonight! After coming to get my daughter and her friends a birthday tea treat and sitting in the queue for almost half an hour waiting, when I come to the window to pay I’m told the card reader isn’t taking contactless payments properly and hasn’t been for a while as it got wet! I was hoping to use ApplePay as I didn’t have my purse on me but this wasn’t possible, I was asked to use my bank card instead which I clearly said I didn’t have despite being asked several times. I offered to ring up and make payment over the phone when I got home or return the following day with cash and was just told no! The fact that contactless was displayed and encouraged on every single sign in the drive thru and then wasn’t available is disgusting, instead of wasting half an hour sat waiting in the queue this should have been made clear on arrival! All the staff could say to me was that there’s a problem with my bank (even thought prior I’d been told the reader wasn’t working properly!) Anyway McDonalds to the rescue and my ApplePay worked absolutely fine and it was also £20 cheaper!!! Not happy to say the least 🤬

The staff are always messing the orders up. Got home quite a few times with items missing now. It's not hard to look at a screen and put the items in a bag. The food is nice soo its a shame that this happens a lot.

I love kfc he is expensive but I still love it
