The best restaurants in Preston North West

Ordered the Cheapy Tuesday, 2 fish, large chips and two sides to be delivered. Quick service, and the piece of fish is always a good size. My husband had the fruity curry for the first time and really enjoyed it. The only issue was the chips, you get loads but there were lots of bits and looked as if they had been sat for a long time. But other wise it is a quick service, and we will be going back.

Visited on a few occasions and each time it's been the same, bins over flowing, tables not cleared or cleaned. We came today with the kids as we just fancied a KFC and there were 2 tables covered in rubbish and gravy all over the table and while not their fault that some customers are just rude and don't clear up after themselves (they would be first to complain if they went in and there was no were clean to sit) they weren't cleared the whole time we were there which was over half an hour. Ordered our food and my husband had to go back to the till as they had missed 2 items off. I got the 3 piece chicken meal 2 of them were really good and then I got to the third which was dry and not good at all so abit hit an missing really. I like what KFC have done with the chips now but nowhere near enough seasoning on them at this particular restaurant. The gravy is usually luke warm and the beans are red hot. My daughter got an ice-cream with her kids meal which they served alongside her meal so it had melted by the time she had eaten her meal.

Ordered 2 meals here, 1 chicken and rice meal and the chicken XL meal and the food was very poor. My partners chicken XL was inedible she said chips were cold, soggy and no flavour and the chicken burger itself was cold and hard. Mine was pretty much the same. My rice wasnt spicy at all like it is in other pepes piri piri branches and the chicken pieces as well were hard and barley any flavour either. Gutted to waste money here for food that was really bad.

Well, what a shame. Had food delivered from here a few times and has always been good. Everyone they ring to say they can’t find the address so I give them instructions and they get here. Ordered last night, it said an hour. After 3 hours of ringing them with no answer and trying to get hold of food hub, I was told the restaurant was closed and to “chat back” tonight so they could sort a refund. Tonight, nope, no refund as they tried to contact me numerous times but couldn’t get in touch so it’s my fault. I always have my phone with me at work and I had no missed calls or messages saying I’d been called. I’ve checked my details on food hub and the contact details are the same as the times they’ve called me and I’ve give them directions. Anyway, just be aware you may or may not get your food from here but you won get a refund either

I love starbucks normally. But I am not a fan of this store. On this occasion I had the worst latte I have ever had. The young girl making it seemed really fed up.

First of all the place looks like it’s only halfway ready to receive customers if you go before 9am. (We turned up at 8:30 on a Friday as Google says they are open from 8am). Support local, yes i am totally for! However when the staff are rude and do not even acknowledge you when you enter (too busy chatting in the back kitchen)… no thank you. However, most importantly THE FOOD! The pre packaged sandwiches look good from far, but are far from good! I got a piri piri chicken sandwich, took one bite to realise the meat (chicken?) was brown. The salad was also brown but to make things even worst the bottom of the bread had white spots (mould?). So that went straight into the bin! My husband got a beef steak pie, lovely and worm but stale at the bottom. Had it been sat there all day yesterday? So, no we shall not be returning here again and shall stick to the other LOVELY & FRIENDLY sandwich shop on the A6 (Dannie’s Deli). I think this business needs a visit from environmental health if I am being completely honest.

As far as takeaways go, I'd have to say that this one seems to deliver what it promises reasonably well. Myself and my friends ordered a selection of items and specified which drinks we would like to come with them, and within twenty minutes or meals arrived, all correct and accounted for with the drinks we asked for. While not perhaps as appealling as some other places I have been to, I can safely state this is a notably high average in my books.

We went for a quick lunch. First thoughts on arrival was the store looked like it had recently been refurbished.....pretty good first impression. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said for the food or the service upon having an issue with cold, undercooked bacon xl burger. We asked for the burger to be replaced as it was anaemic and cold. Got given the replacement burger, for that to be even colder and still anaemic. The attitude of the manager, Kirsty I think was her name, was unhelpful and dismissive, no attempt to rectify the complaint. Ended up getting a refund, no replacement, therefore went without lunch. On leaving the store, the same manager shouted after us smugly 'thanks guys, bye' with a grin. Not the act or attitude in fitting with management level anywhere. We will definitely not be back and recommend highly that nobody else does either. We tried to leave feedback on burger Kings own website, unfortunately, that wasn't functioning either! Burger King......King of burgers you are not!

Ordered a donner and sish kebab and got food poisoning.. Was throwing up and feeling very unwell the next day. Would definitely not recommend going here..

Do not reccomend this place. Just Horrible.

I’d heard good reports so decided to give it a chance, we ordered two chicken dinners and a beef. HELLO!! Where is the chicken?two tiny drumsticks is not a chicken dinner.,cold veg served as well. When my wife complained about the chicken she was told that’s all you get.,no slices no leg just two drumsticks, I’d avoid this place for food. I know it was cheap at 7 pounds but I’d rather pay more and have a meal I could eat.

Went in here for a drink and ended up leaving it. The place absolutely stinks dirty and horrible. This pub used to be really good what on earth has happened. A drunken girl kept going behind the bar dancing and the staff were scruffy. On leaving one of them were stood in the doorway smoking so we got a nice face full of smoke. Wiped our feet on the way out. Needs a good clean
