I love starbucks normally. But I am not a fan of this store. On this occasion I had the worst latte I have ever had. The young girl making it seemed really fed up.

Awful service more bothered about the drive thru than the customers inside,charge you for a take out cup when you're sitting inside because the run out of proper cups. The only good thing was the drinks, just glad I don't come here very often

Love this starbucks alot and always seem to catch customers aiming negativity at the staff, the staff are paid minimum wage and make the drinks as trained. I think we can all understand some company policies are a tad over cautious but i felt sorry for two staff members as they were being questioned and harrassed about not taking cash. Im not sure what they couldve done to change the company policy single handedly but the customer didnt seem to respect that it wasnt the barista’s responsibility. Very happy with my service and always served with a smile :) also gave my dog a puppacino (free!) friendly atmosphere and would return very soon

Fantastic staff! Huge credit to the company! I came here for a small quiet drink after work and the lady who took my order was lovely. However there was a mad rush order happening at the time so I had to wait for my drink. All the staff were working very hard and this couldn't be helped but geoux (sorry if I misspelt it) was extra attentive and really ensure that all customers were well looked after.

TL;DR version at end. If you've ever seen the scene from Loudermilk (it's a clip on YouTube; search for 'ordering hot water scene') where he orders hot water, you'll probably agree that it's ridiculous and no way would it happen in real life. Well it did, today, at this Starbucks, only without the staff eventually being sensible. I ordered a couple of drinks, so it's not like I wasn't a paying customer, and also asked for a hot water with salt (long story but I needed it). They accepted my money happily - then told me I couldn't have the hot water. Just like the ridiculous scene, they quoted health and safety, and continued to do so (then switching to 'Starbucks policy') even while agreeing that the tea is hot so it's exactly the same health and safety risk (that is, very little). I don't know if they were expecting Starbucks bosses to be hiding in the corner waiting to shout "you gave that person a hot water!" or what. To be fair, one employee had only worked there a few days and was apologetic and hadn't realised there would be a problem, as common sense and the ability to think critically both dictate that there shouldn't be any issue. If it was money, I'd have paid, but this was not an option given. The 'supervisor', Faith, went to speak to me and it became quickly obvious that she was a lunatic feminist. She was hostile from the start, and when I asked for my money back for my drinks as she'd made me feel very uncomfortable, she did the typical feminist thing of making up stuff about guys - she claimed I'd raised my voice. As she was lying, I Started recording, and she soon changed her demeanour. She's obviously the sort of person (and I told her as much) that, if there are no witnesses and no evidence, she'll claim someone 'behaved aggressively' and she 'felt intimidated' or other nonsense that's easy to claim but difficult to disprove. After I thought about her behaviour, I realised she was a typical man-hating feminist (yes, feminists are anti-male, the movement is nothing to do with equality whatever it says on the tin, so to speak). Went to Morrisons cafe, where they were sensible. TL;DR version: My experience was like the scene out of Loudermilk where the guy tries to get hot water, only the staff never backed down even though I'd also ordered paid drinks, and one was a lunatic man-hating feminist who tried to lie about me until I started audio recording (she suddenly started behaving) - and she was the supervisor, ironically named Faith! Seriously, even if you're used to Starbucks, listen to all the bad reviews on here, and avoid this place. I feel sorry for the woman who had only worked there a few days as she was using her common sense but the supervisor put a stop to that. Went to Morrisons cafe, where they were sensible.

Ordered a medium americano with hot milk and extra shot. Paid £4. Basically received warm water and milk. Not sure how they thought it was acceptable to hand out like that.

Absolutely atrocious, no cups again dushing out paper ones , toast given to us in a bag as they had no plates all tables were dirty full of vups and plates. spent far too much time waiting , Been before thought it was bad then, thought I'd give it another go but unfortunately it was shocking, whoever is running this place needs to get a grip !!

Just paid £15.80 for 2 medium hot chocolates and a medium strawberry frappucino. The hot chocolates were almost cold and weren't as luxurious looking as the photo. We went through the drive through and parked up nearby before we realised. Feel robbed!

I visited here recently and like some peole I enjoy a bit of extra boiling water on the side to top up my drink. That was not allowed. They also wanted to give out paper cups even though it was not a take away and one of the staff (the one serving me) was rude and couldn't be bothered. There was no 'thank uou' or any manners. Something else that strikes me is that milk or cream does not come in a jug but a cup! On top of all that the coffee was luke warm!

Spent the morning here for a meeting and the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Perfect service and the usual range of Starbucks products. Nice clean environment and good WiFi.

Review I was really excited when this store first opened as it was closer to my home than the other Starbucks in the area and a great spot for a walk. At first I excused the poor beverage quality on them just getting started and getting used to the Starbucks beverage routine etc as an ex barista myself. For instance my caramel macchiato was completely incorrect, shots just mixed into the beverage and no caramel drizzle on top despite asking for extra. I didn’t complain as I thought it may just be teething issues with a new store and can emphasise with that. However, it’s been a couple of months now, they’ve had time to train and improve and everytime I go back I’m still heavily disappointed. Firstly, this store has multiple staff members deployed at any time compared to busier stores in the area who usually work with a two or three person deployment. However, I have never been to a store that takes the mick with taking your order. I stood waiting for ten minutes to have my order taken while the lady who had been on till jumped across to the bar despite there being about four drinks in the queue and someone else on bar already?? She didn’t even look at me or acknowledge that I was standing there - I would’ve appreciated a little “I’ll be with you in a min” or something. She then called someone else out to take my order who completely ignored me stood there and took someone else’s order behind me. I’m not sure what Starbucks standards they’re following but with five members on the floor (all around and near the bar), no cars on drive through, you’re more than capable of staying deployed in one spot. Secondly, they really need to review their beverage routine as well as their beverage quality. I have sat and watched people make drinks here completely against normal standard just chucking whatever level of milk they want into a jug or a Frappuccino cup. This causes the drink to be of terrible quality. For the amount of money people are paying for these drinks, it’s disgraceful how they are coming out. Ive ordered an iced latte before for it to come out with about three cubes of ice. I didn’t order a cup of milk with shots??? This store needs more regular check ins with managers so they can carry out more beverage routine observations and check quality. This store has the potential to be a great store - but the standards are severely lacking and need some serious attention from management. With the amount of staff on shift, you have the time and opportunity to up skill your staff to make them the best they can be. You have some great partners who just need a bit of direction and training so that they can make high standard drinks. It’s a shame that I’ve had to write this review, but I hope that things improve.

Awful service dispite 7 staff on duty. Was told a possible 5 minutes wait for drinks, 20 minutes later still no coffees, asked how much longer told now, 5mins later still no coffees, my order had again been put back in a queue by a very bad mannered member of staff who informed me I had already been told of the wait. I was told 5 minutes not 25 minutes. Priority given to drive throw, takeaway and delivery over customers sitting in. Disgraceful staff attitude. Looking at previous reviews I am not the first to mention this. Not making a very good impression for Starbucks as a whole.

Visited this afternoon. There was a massive queue in the drive thru so went inside to order coffee. Three members of staff working like mad to service the orders. However what I presume to be the manager was a female in a houndstooth coat as opposed to uniform basically ignoring the queue of customers at the till for nearly 10 minutes whilst she put cakes out, dropping several on the floor in the process and making no attempt to pick them up. No eye contact what so ever despite us being stood waiting. I get the staff were busy, but a polite sorry will be with you soon would have helped. Another female just wandering round with a clip board and not serving. Place was filthy with pots piled on tables, food on the floor from previous customers in the seating area and when the coffee was ready to collect the manager slapped it on the counter, called out the name, never bothered to look at us and walked off. Dreadful. I feel sorry for the three people who were doing all the work as she is just rude and useless. Avoid!

Had a lovely kabab meat and chips, salad nice and fresh and huge portions. This is gonna be my new to go to place. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items

As far as takeaways go, I'd have to say that this one seems to deliver what it promises reasonably well. Myself and my friends ordered a selection of items and specified which drinks we would like to come with them, and within twenty minutes or meals arrived, all correct and accounted for with the drinks we asked for. While not perhaps as appealling as some other places I have been to, I can safely state this is a notably high average in my books.

For a cafe offering meals I find it bizarre that routinely no food is readily available, always the case that there's some coming. It appears they rely on bringing the food centrally to them in which case this is a poor management of resources to not order quickly enough to keep a supply forthcoming. Which in a hospital a regular supply of people is a given, it seems this is a shock to them. Just not got a clue at all any of them.

Worse food i ve ever had, cold hot dog in stupidly over sized bread roll ,reheated chips, the weakest hot chocolate i ve ever tasted and it was nt cheap,, it was garbage do nt know how they stay opening selling rubbish like that,, cold hotdogs are a health hazard,,avoid
