I came here on Sunday we booked a month and a half in advance and a month before the reservation we rang to book another table and asked if there’s any chance they could be together. We were told maybe not together but they would definitely be near each other. It was my friends birthday and everyone had completed the half marathon that day so we were celebrating. We were greeted by ignorance on arrival, the host telling us it has nothing to do with them, and that it one of our tables is downstairs and the other upstairs. When seated there were plenty of empty tables that could’ve been for us but were not. The only good service we got was the lovely girl who brought us our food. After sitting down and telling the host our friends would be joining us shortly and checking for BOTH tables when our friends arrived they were scoffed at and told that we didn’t have the table anymore as we hadn’t turned up for it. I am extremely disappointed by this venue, the only thing good about it is the food which is overpriced. Put a huge dampener on my friends birthday and all that ran the half marathon. As some one who works in hospitality I can understand if somewhere is busy and how stressful this can be but this level of customer service isn’t acceptable do better.
Food was very hit and miss. The garlic bread was burnt and tasted like smoke. The pasta was delicious. The rice tasted like a wet sponge. Also the queue was so far inside the restaurant that I couldn’t hear my own table.
I'm not disappointed, is just not for me. The The staff were great. It's really noisy inside unless you enjoy 80/90s music.
The food was OK. The sourdough was difficult to cut and then progressed to soggy. The chorizo was dry, overcooked and would be better served as small juicy pieces iso a single slab. The menu seemed a little limited compared to what i saw online before we booked. No Turkish Eggs, no Huevos Rancheros optons could i see.
It was packed and they were queuing out the door. Not a place for a catch up, though the arcade seats would be slightly quieter if you can snag one. We booked ahead a week for the Saturday and only had inside option available.
Anton was the host and man he is special… came with my friends and he sorted us out with chairs and I’ve never had a better experience ever. He completely made the atmosphere and was delightful to talk to. I can’t stress enough how much I’d recommend coming to this place just to meet him.
A hidden gem in town. really enjoy the variety of the food. Service is top notch, and Nima is a super lovely girl with sweet voice. Great place for a date night
This is a lovely spot, not far from Picadilly Station.
I had a magnificent margarita and a perfect vodka martini.
The steak was spot on.
Absolutely lovely staff. Really highly recommend this gem.

I had the most incredible katsu curry from Honi Poke yesterday. I have eaten there a few times and never had a bad meal. It’s consistently excellent. The Katsu Curry is particularly good. It’s become my go to place for a mid week lunch. Special shout out to the manager, Piotr, who always greets me with a smile and goes out of his way for his customers. It’s rare to find a lunchtime spot in Manchester City centre that delivers both excellent food and service. Would highly recommend!
Love this place. Authentic classic feel of a building and pub. Staff are every approachable..loads of seats inside. Situated in the alleyways and can be challenging to find.
