I don't live in the UK for ten years but here on the news pubs closing in the UK but was in Manchester found this great boozer from friendly staff to great food excellent selection of ciders but best of all the bloody Mary superb so give it a try next time in the UK I'll pop in

A great pub with some fine ales.

Great bar, went in to watch the football . Felt so sorry for the lady working behind the bar. The place was full and she was working solo. Only Stayed for 2 drinks because of the length of wait time at the bar. Again not the ladies fault there, she should have had help on such a busy day. Nice beer & wine options

Flew almost 4000 miles to finally have Boddingtons on draft, the staff is wonderful.

Got to credit the bar staff. They allowed a group of 60 year old blokes to have a sing song.

Great traditional pub with a good selection of beverages. We didn’t eat but the menu looked good. It was a slow midafternoon stop on a Monday. Our only recommendation is for the barkeeper. Service was “fine” she just wasn’t friendly. Very matter of fact. Ok but have a little personality. Based on other recommendations I’d try it again when I’m in Manchester.

A classic drinking pub if you are looking for a pint in the city. Not far to walk from Deansgate or St Peter's Square but nicely tucked away for a bit of peace and quiet. TVs showing sport provide a further rest from a busy day.

£6 a pint of Guinness…let that settle, however it doesn’t get better any better the longer it settles.

Great service in this well run pub considering it fills up pretty quickly being long and narrow - feels like this place is on the up.

Sunday afternoon. Popped in for a pint and some food, lovely burger and chips, 1 normal 1 veggie they were both lovely and well worth the money.

Really tasty steak and ale pie! The pie was better than Pieminister and the price is more affordable 🙂👌

I came to this pub the town hall tavern whilst at the Christmas markets an had such a lovely night thanks to such welcoming an friendly bar staff in particular Eileen. So friendly an brilliant drinks. Ten out of ten.

Awesome little place. Doesn't do food on Sundays, which is a shame

I came here with my girlfriend for food only and we found this when looking at highly reviewed venues. This pub definitely lived up to its reviews! The food was lovely with great presentation, the bar/restaurant was comfortable, warm and a nice place to sit. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we come back to Manchester we will come back here 100%.

Nice city centre pub...long time since last visited, but tastefully decorated inside and good range of beers & spirits

Me and my boyfriend went for lunch. Having not been from Manchester, we googled a local pub that does food. We came across the Town Hall Tavern which did not disappoint. The food was really really nice. It was pub food but NICE pub food :) The staff were nice and helpful. The design of the pub was unique and quite cool. Would be a good pub to watch a football match in. Definitely would go back here when in Manchester.

Such a lovely little pub with a great selection of drinks and very friendly staff. Always nice to finish a day or work with a Rekorderlig Wild Berries. And they had Hungry Hippos to play with.

As a visitor to Manchester and the UK, this tavern was the only one where I could find Boddingtons on tap. Little did I know that it was now brewed in Lancashire. Enjoyed my pint :)

Great place! A variety of ciders to try. Really friendly service (Thanks Eileen)!. We loved the food especially the bruschetta, the steak & ale pie, and the yummy onion rings. Will definitely be back!

I used to come in here 1980 when i used to come into Town when i was 18,i don'nt live in England anymore but enjoyed a few beers in here with my two sons on a trip back to Manchester,how time flies just seems as i remember it,

I was very impressed with my lunch (fish and chips), and the two ales I had. The staff are lovely, and the pub has character.

We always visit the TH Tavern when out in Mcr centre. Friendly and good atmosphere with live music on busier nights.

Fabulous traditional pub right in the heart of Manchester. Very comfortable and well decorated. Excellent range of decent cask ales. There was a big group of us but we were quickly seved by friendly bar staff.

A proper pub. Nestled away just off king St. None of your pretentious tosh. Great people having a good time. Get yourself in for a pint. The bar staff are the best. Shout out to Max, Aileen and Dylan. Best pub in town for sure.

Popped in for food however they had stopped serving. Shame as it looked gorgeous. Made it in time for happy hour and got one of the best bottles of red wine I’ve ever had for just £14! It was a lovely clean modern pub and there was a selection of board games in the corner! The guy that served me was polite and nice. Overall great find!

Quite small and TVs didnt match the music played ...other tables said aswell ...was slightly busy but did well to serve everyone....good range of drinks

Nice traditional English pub, Good selection of real ale and lager, efficient friendly service. We also went back later in the day for Steak & Ale pie, mash & veg, whilst others had Bangers & Mash, all had clean plates, and were pleased with the value.
