The food would have been nice had it been hot and not served so quick, no break between starters and the main course so didn't enjoy it. Never a fan of compulsory service charges, it should be optional.

Lovely meal , great service . Slightly different sauces with was very nice with the chicken dish . Will come again . Our waiter was very good and patient 💙

I can not recommend this place enough. Before I visited, I contacted them via email to inform them that I had a gift card worth £100.00 to dine there, but it had recently expired. I am certain 99% of restaurants would have been rubbing their hands, thankful for the free £100.00 and insisted my bill would be full price. Instead, they extended my gift card and allowed me to use it after the expiry date. With it being my birthday this month, and Christmas last month, I’d say I’ve eaten at about 5/6 of the best restaurants in Manchester. I would struggle to name a better one than this one. The southern fried chicken starter is an absolute must, and the chicken Jalfrezi that my girlfriend ordered was unreal. An amazing restaurant, with amazing service and friendly, helpful staff. I’ll be making a habit of visiting.

Food was lovely. They were happy to customise the spice level based on our requirements. However, there was about 30 mins wait to het seated. We booked our table for 8:30 but had to wait until 9 to be seated, that too after a slight nudge. Can’t fault the food though.

Extremely pleased by the service. He struck nice little enjoyable conversations, made us feel special and welcome. Drinks were awesome, had a few speciality cocktails. Berry Martini, a Hot Rita short, complimented the amristari fish and chilli garlic prawns splendidly well. Main course was equally enjoyable, perfect portions of rogan josh lamb curry, naan and roti. No oversized surprises, thanks again to Shivraj's timely tips and managing expectations at time of the order. Overall a lovely afternoon, memorable experience perfect for the occasion. All thanks again to Shivraj and his team in the kitchen for thoughtfully gifting us a complimentary decorated dessert, adoringly embellished! Absolutely enjoyed that bit. Would certainly go again!

Great new find for us. Unique flavors - the Paneer Jalfrezi is excellent. Also loved the paneer tikka masala and the shrimp starter. Great portions as well.

The Best Indian restaurant in Manchester! The food was delicious, and the quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Nagesh, who provided great service. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. 4 of us dined here and we all loved everything. We particularly enjoyed the skewers salmon tikka, delicious. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable at £18-£25 per main course and £7 for a pint of Cobra & £5 glass of prosecco. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was below par for the upmarket restaurant, service was very poor, only 2 waiters for about 50 people, and drinks service was non-existent. It brings shame to the great ASHA Bhosle reputation.

Food was good overall, a cut above the average Indian restaurant, with prices to match. It is currently one of only two in the UK, within the Asha's group, a small chain founded by former Bollywood star, Asha Boshle. Decor is modern and upscale, the soundtrack funky, and waiters smartly attired. Service was polite and attentive. We enjoyed most of our dishes, though didn’t rate the poppadom dips, or some of the wines by the glass. Overall though, a pleasing experience.

Tried the 6 course tasting menu with paired wines - absolutely lovely! Flavours and quality of food were great! Shivraj and all staff were attentive and super friendly. A great experience!

I am not from Manchester and rarely visit my local Indian restaurants anymore as I find I can make better curries myself at home these days. However, in Manchester for a night out we found ourselves tempted by a curry and decided to give Asha's a try. I found the service to be very good, no waits too long or too short, friendly and attentive. The food was very nice, Lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, mushroom pilau and garlic naan both very nice traditional style curries with lots of flavour and body, really enjoyed them. My only complaint would be that, for me, the portion sizes were a little small, especially when you consider the fairly high price. When I'm paying £25 for the curry alone, I wouldn't expect to still be hungry after. Personally could have eaten twice the portion size of curry. We only had popedom's as a starter though. If I was to visit again, which I certainly would, I would make sure to order a starter as well as poppadom's and main courses. Thanks for a great meal Asha

Excellent service from the moment we entered. We had a taster experience coupled with wine for every course. A well thought out menu to showcase the talent of the chefs and quality of food Asha provides. Kudos to our waiter Shivraj who was attentive, friendly and has a great rapport with his guests. Overall a great experience and highly recommend to anyone wanting more than just a meal.

We had an exceptional Anniversary dinner here! We each had the best curries we’d ever tasted. My partner had lamb muscat gosht, the lamb fell apart he didn’t even need to use his knife. I had the Aloo gobi, as I’m vegan I didn’t expect much choice but this was the creamiest curry of my life just wow. Only thing I’d change would be more vegan dessert options. We were seated by Ryan and he served us drinks after the meal, very friendly and the conversation was nice, even had some great facts on the history of the area!

Great food and service. Sadly the IT system was down so we did not get to sit in the main reception and enjoy the atmosphere and the ambience of Asha’s music.

My experience was in their partnered dine place instead actual restaurant. Actual place opens Wednesday to Sunday (I guess) Food was over all average with spice on lighter side. Service was good (as expected from high end place) BUT - DISAPPOINTED that I was served, without my knowledge, substituted "Dessert" I'd ordered dessert combo and was looking forward to "Kulfi" but was served "Cheese cake"!!! I'm sure bare minimum is to inform and ask!! 🇮🇳🙏🏻🥘🎉👍🏻

Me and my wife visited Asha's to take advantage of a Six Course Tasting menu voucher I got for a gift. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Each course was accompanied by a lovely paired wine (which I'm usually not bothered about). Each dish was absolutely lovely and we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. We have already looked at the regular menu to plan another visit and would highly recommend if you are in Manchester.

I had dinner at Asha's with my wife we both ordered Roganjosh and chicken tikka masala and some starters while most things were okay, the naan bread was absolutely unacceptable. It came out raw and had an unpleasant, fishy smell that made it hard to enjoy the rest of the meal. I wasn't the only one who noticed this – other tables around us were also complaining about the naan. For a place that seemed to get other dishes right, this was a huge letdown. I hope they address this issue because it completely ruined the experience. Wouldn't recommend until they sort this out!

Lovely and beautiful venue in the heart of the city - food was perfect cooked and amazingly delicious. The 50% deal via First Table on a Tuesday evening was the icing on the cake - oh, and the gorgeous dessert offering! You Our booking and experience was seemless - especially as it was our 25th wedding anniversary so a special celebration in a wonderful restaurant. Shivraj the waiter was faultless in every way and really genuinely looked after us throughout (even one-up on his manager as every time the manager asked us anything, Shivraj had already dealt with it. Hope to back again for another kind of special occasion.

Wow what can I say this place is just outstanding, hands down the best Indian we have been to and we have been to many around the UK! A special shout out to Shivraj who looked after us and was the most attentive and lovely waiter, a real asset to Asha’s. We can’t wait to return.

THE most authentic and delicious food I have had the pleasure to experience in the UK to date. The Palak Chaat was an experience in itself, followed by a wonderful prawn biryani and garlic naan. Yogesh who waited on our table was very friendly and professional as were all the the staff. I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much if I could give 10 stars I would.

My partner & I stayed for the night in Hotel Forty Seven so had to try out Asha's being on the premises. Must say from start to finish it was a wonderful experience! The decor was fantastic, modern & stylish. Our waitress, Medha, was top notch & could not be more friendly, helpful & extremely efficient. She went above & beyond to make our evening so enjoyable. The food was "out of this world!" We both love Indian food but this was exceptionally exquisite & tasty. Would definitely recommend the restaurant, hotel & the cocktail bar where we'll be sure to visit again. Thank you to all the attentive staff & big shout out to Medha 👍

One of the best meals I’ve had! The Naan melted in your mouth, the curry was full of flavour. Service was great from start to end, beautiful decor and the cocktails were also delicious! Definitely coming back!

Went here on Saturday there were 4 of us eating. The service from Yogesh was fantastic he could not do enough for us. The food was amazing. I had the whole tandoori spring chicken for main an it was beautifully cooked. My wife said it’s probably the best Lamb curry she’s ever had. The only negative as such is the bill lol £276 for a curry, it is Manchester though and I would go again for a special occasion.

Wanted Jain Food. The staff was very helpful. Special mention to Yogesh, who helped us get not just Jain food but also helped us sterilize the milk bottle for our baby. Worth visiting.

Unfortunately not a great experience which is disappointing as the reviews looked good. Firstly we were seated and asked if we wanted to table water and poppadoms which we said yes please. Our drinks order was taken shortly after but no water arrived so we re asked for the water. Food order was taken - outside menu and online menu said they did korma but this wasn’t present on their menu inside. Waiter also said rice wasn’t enough to share (spoiler alert - 1 portion is plenty for two) Food then came out but no poppadoms had come out so we mentioned this and then they brought some out. No mint sauce with the poppadoms either, just all different chutneys. Overall disappointing experience.

Indian fine dining at it's best.

This is one of my favourite restaurants and my recent visit did not disappoint. I went with 3 colleagues. The team at Asha's Prashad are always courteous and friendly and the food is delicious. Everyone was extremely happy with their experience.

I came with a group of friends and we had a wonderful experience. Lovely food and great service. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Vishnu and Yogesh who served our area. Looking forward to returning soon!

Such a wonderful experience from the moment we stepped in till we left the restaurant! The food was excellent - i was pleasantly surprised to find such delicious Indian food outside India. It was our anniversary (33 years happily married) - had the 6 course tasting menu. The staff were very helpful (Shivraj and Yogesh). Compliments to the Chef as the food was excellent (very tastefully done with right amount of spices for Indian Palette) thank you all recommend to anyone who fancies a change from standard Indian food.

First time at this restraunt the starter and main was fantastic the flavours were amazing. But if a let down with the service felt a little rushed was asked if we were finished we I was still eating which made it abit awkward. Had to wait along time for pudding. Forgot to bring a few drinks to the table. The waitress also didn’t speak so made it quite awkward

Most awful dining experience in Manchester. The staff were very rude. Bad service, we left because we couldn’t stand the horrible attitude. I would not recommend it for Arabs. The waiter kept raising his voice and talking back to us even tho we were asking for a status update.

Don’t bother. I don’t know exactly what’s the hype with it, but it’s not worth your money. Food is ok, but nothing exceptional, some too salty, some bland. Service ok but a bit slow.

Was pleasant enough but far too expensive. We stuck with poppadoms and a main that didn't need anything else as it was a biryani. The meal itself was very nice and I could imagine you might pay a premium. Given I'd been to Eastz east a few days earlier I know which place I'd go to again. Staff were fine, I guess this place is not targeted at me.

Always wanted to visit this restaurant and finally made it. The food was amazing to say the least - the king prawn curry, the Guntur chicken and lamb biriyani. Also offered a replacement drink and a free dessert. Great service ! Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent our server was constantly attending to our table. Quality of food was very high with all dishes being served very quickly . Would recommend the mocktails and all the starters we tried were excellent as well.

Love love loved Asha’s- am always slightly critical of indian restaurants but this is a lovely balance of quality and quantity and the restaurant is a lovely vibe! On entry greeted by rude arrogant staff, may be they think they are high end, missing any real awards or Michelin stars for that, the place is run down & tacky, the lamb is not lamb its sheep, low grade fish, prawns were third world imported stocks, tasted cheap, very poor level food, ,chef needs firing & ingredients the lowest of low level, management need Gordon Ramsey to visit, literally the worst curry I have had anywhere on the planet, 1/10 from me, make sure you’re heavily pissed before entry to enjoy despicable indian cooking, a real insult to the beautiful Indian Sub-Continent.

None authentic commercial food A true Indian restaurant doesn't have to get you drunk 1st then to serve u just anything. Go experience Merzee Stockport road ul forget all city centre rubbish

Celebrating fathers 70th, the overall experience was excellent, staff went above and beyond, table was decorated and a cake was bright out at the end. The food itself was of very high quality and our waitress Maydha was great!

When we arrived we was welcomed with a smile and taken to out table which was in a good place , the order for starter & main & pudding was absolutely first class the food was outstanding and followed by cocktails . Over all Asha's was one of the best restaurants my wife & me have been to 💯%..

Expensive and bland. To be fair they did their best to react to my complaint about the bland food. Second meal was better but still not very spicy.

After a good few months, I was back at Asha's for a lunch date with my polish friend who never liked Indian food but thank you Asha's and both Ryan and Saroop for delightful and authentic Indian dining experience. It was a truly wonderful experience and my friend absolutely loved it.The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, especially the palak starter and lamp chops. The biryani as always is to die for. We also had garlic naan and the guntur chicken curry which was a little spicy for my friend but she enjoyed it.The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff and Manager Saroop, who was happy to explain dishes to my polish friend and offer recommendations. The ambience of the restaurant was also lovely, with warm lighting, beautiful decor, and most importantly clean and comfortable seating I highly recommend Asha's for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal in a welcoming atmosphere. I never used to like the Indian food, but my best friend convinced me to give it a one last try and it was the best decision of all times! This restaurant is places in the center of Manchester. It's beautifly decorated and would be perfect for a date or family dinner too. The managers: Ryan and Saroop are very welcoming and insightful, sharing tips for best choice on the menu and facts about Indian food. I absolutely loved my food and changed my mind about the Indian cousine!! There's a rich choice of cocktails but also mocktails which is rare around the UK and I appreciated that. Mocktails are original and tasty. There's also a bar area downstairs in the building, very charming prefect place to start the night! I will definitely come again, thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!

One of the nicest Indian meals I have had. Slightly more expensive but worth it.

Ok: 1- Ordered butter chicken, it was alright. Ordered the dal makhni, it was good. Naan was well baked, and the chicken Tikka biryani was an interesting combination with a surprisingly decent result. 2 - for a Sunday night out (with the next day being a bank holiday), and around 9pm, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. A little surprising. 3 - Aside from that, decent atmosphere and loved the tributes to Asha Bhosle's music. Had great service from Medha and her colleagues - appreciated their cooperation. My partner and I had forgotten her bag and my umbrella, and were willing to keep it safe for us until we got back to receive it.

What can I say, this was my first time visiting Asha's and it definitely won't be my last! I booked for a group of six and we were treated exceptionally well by Ryan and his wonderful team. The food is out of this world, the drinks menu is perfectly paired and the staff were attentive, friendly and just knew our next move. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we'll definitely be back and recommending you to our friends. X
