From Birmingham Went to Winslow road for food bloody rubbish area. So came here for food Masha Allah staff a lovely, friendly & food Masha Allah beautiful had Tawa grill beautiful. Would recommend this place, forget Winslow road rubbish.

The tawa is what you should go for which is a tray of variety pf dishes which are authentic foods and are excellent. There is a lot of food so be ready! Fantastic variety of curries and kebabs with good service and if you are looking for top quality curries and kebabs you will certainly find them here.

Wonderful Late-Night Experience at King Karahi & Tawa We had a fantastic dining experience at King Karahi & Tawa. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed late-night dinner with our extended family. We ordered the Tawa for 8, and it exceeded expectations—beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The highlights were the Daal, Chicken Achari, and Chicken Chilli—each dish was bursting with authentic spices and cooked to perfection. The grill selection was equally impressive, juicy and well-seasoned. From the food to the ambiance, everything was spot on. A memorable experience overall, and definitely a place we’d return to for quality food and a welcoming environment.

The guy told us we have only an hour to eat if we want the better seats and if we are longer we are to sit in the kitchen area. The kitchen are he sat us in had a broken table and not very child family friendly. We did not end up staying snd we left.

Poor service appalling behaviour from the staff, booked in advance for 9 people including little children called twice to confirm. And when we actually got there, no table for booked or ready for us, the person greeting customers was very rude and uncouth. He had absolutely no manners how to speak with ladies, extremely disrespectful. This is definitely not a place for educated, refined gentry or families for that purpose.

Terrible Service and No Commitment to Customers! We booked a table for 9 people at King Karahi, expecting a decent dining experience. However, when we arrived, they offered us a table right in front of the cooking area, which was filled with smoke. We had kids with us, and the air was so thick that it was hard to breathe. To make things worse, a staff member approached us, standing uncomfortably close to the women in our group, invading personal space without any consideration. He seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of us rather than offering a proper solution. We thought he might relocate us to a better table, but instead, he simply said "sorry" and opened the door as if he wanted us out. Honestly, it wasn’t a loss for us, but it was shocking to experience such pathetic service. We work hard for our money and refuse to spend it at a place that treats customers so poorly. Over the past 6–7 years, customer service has declined across many takeaways, but King Karahi is by far one of the worst. Save your money and avoid this place if you expect even basic respect while dining. This happened today around 7:40 PM, and we are never coming back.

The tawa was very disappointing. The starters were not fresh, and the fries were cold. They said, ‘Let us reheat it.’ We travelled from Birmingham and will not return.

Recommended this place by a friend. Ordered lamb karahi, lamb biriani, chicken sheek kebabs and keema aloo. Keema aloo and chicken sheek kebabs were my favourites 😍 my friends enjoyed the lamb karahi and lamb biriani. Didn't really consider eating in this area before because this is my work route and driving through levenshulme every morning is very frustrating. However, after eating here, would recommend this place and I will be coming back if I fancy a curry 🍛

Pedimos pakoras de cebolla bhaji con kebab seekh para empezar y karahi de cordero en el hueso y madras de pollo en el hueso. We went for a quick meal before heading into town, mixed grill for 2 was good value and tasted fantastic, the naan and chutneys are perfect accompaniment. Absolutely did the job and didn't break the bank which is important nowadays! Atmosphere was quiet because it was Ramadan but that's not a problem. Great service by a lad called Eesa, we will come back again 👌

The food that I ordered was stale and old the owner told us later it was from last night. I ordered the channa nihari etc they both smelt really bad also the nihari was just bones in it. Also the service was very bad we gave back 99.9% of the food but we were told we still had to pay for it. Save your money and time please don't go here I would not recommend this place. The morning breakfast is old and stale you will probably get ill the service is really bad.

We was very disappointed, annoyed and I am still angry, at first the lady didn’t come to us to sit us down, then when we was ordering she didn’t allow us to have the puri. Awful service, and didnt have good manners also the toilets are disgusting, yuck sickening I won’t ever go back again: They need teaching good manners and better service!!!!

Waiter was super friendly and proffessional. Food however was served cold. Both curries on the tawa were re heated. starters were cooked fresh but because the meat in the curries was cold everything had to be reheated twice drying out all the curry. Overall was disappointed as I am a foodie. food was average at best. Mango lassi was served more or less when we were about to finish. Waiter even asked for advice for future when i returned to which i replied i will be honest i wont be returning. The advice i can give is serve freshly cooked food and advice to customers is avoid if u can and treat yourselves somewhere nice.

Food was lovely and service was really quick. We had the Tawa for 3 for 4 of us, and it was more than enough. A little on the spicy side so do ask for lower spice if can’t handle much!

Its my third week i am eating occasionally, to be honest food taste is pleasant manager here is very good but service is worse every single time in the morning breakfast.

Tawa was Luke warm, curries lacked oomph, no fish pakora or rice. I would probably not go back. But staff were friendly.

Ordered nihari and lahori nashta. Nihari lacked soo much flavour, couldn't eat it that's how plain it was. I was so disappointed! Likewise nihari is my top fav dish. I was looking forward to have it. Onions with the channa tasted off but channa itself was nice in taste wise. As I tasted the puri it tasted like it was fried in burnt/ old oil. I was soo disappointed as I was looking forward to eat there. The old owners was so much better and the new owners have lacked in taste and service. I was a regular customer but now wouldn't go again as there was taste change in all of the dishes. Went to the toilets and both toilets were dirty and disgusting!

Food was good but extremely poor service. Only one girl is doing service and she also has an attitude. Food is on table and the failed to provide Naan bread. All our food got cold. I have added photo to prove it. Food in plates but no naans to eat with.

Absolutely 10/10. We found this place unintentionally and it was the best find ever. The karahi is 1000/10. The lamb and chicken kebab were both unreal. Definitely found our new favourite curry place.

Authentic tasting Pakistani food. Extremely tasty and prices are very reasonable.

Where to start. I had to wait over 1 hour to get my food took 20 mins for someone to even acknowledge me as a customer. I get the food and the onion bhaji are missing I complain and they can't even give me a refund. These people are from the worst village of Pakistan with no manners and no respect.

Great value good. More like home cooked. Had their paratha and omlette and it was just like homemade. It was excellent value for money. They have a huge variety of breakfast items besides the normal BBQ dishes you would find at a Pakistani restaurant. Next will try their Daal Chawal....which I am sure will taste great too. Service was prompt and really good as was the delivery of food....did not take too long to get food from the time order was placed. Would recommed.
