The woman serving me (Tracy) made a snarky and racist remark about my background, despite being a person of colour herself! very unprofessional of her, i hope she's aware this is not okay despite of what others may have thought of her food. Other than that i have no complains with the food its all decently priced and up to par.

Food is really good their burgers are amazing and tasty. Prices are really cheap, 8£ for a full meal with a can of a drink of choice it really can't be beaten. The only thing that could be better is that there is not a lot of seating options and the tables could be cleaner

Loved my visit to this place! I am a big fan of the food, I also think the portion sizes are really good. I came here and used the private area for my mums birthday. It is such a great venue, the staff are considerate and helpful! I found an absolute gem of a place in Manchester. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, such a lovely atmosphere too! Thank you for making my mums day special!

Devastated to hear this place is closing - my partner and I visited a few days ago and Andrey and Rob delivered exemplary service despite being understaffed. A lot of love for this place and for the entire team.
Had a lane for an hour for my stag, chips great and affordable drink. Bar staff forgot to add a load of drinks to our tab so comped them. Asked if we'd review as collateral. Good stuff regards Albert
My experience was really nice!
The food is great, original and all vegan. The restaurant is big with a lot of seats.
But we wait for your food is very long and one of the card readers wasn't working. I think there's not enough staff to do everything.

The service is good and the staff are well mannered but the food on the other hand is too expensive and not nice and i payed over 50 pound for horrible food that gave us sore stomachs afterwards 💔😓

I was greeted with a warm welcome as I dropped in here for the first time tonight. This was especially important as I was in Manchester on business and so dining alone. The beer range was good and the menu appetising. I enjoyed a stunning Steak & Frites, as good as any I've eaten in France, and i ate every last bit of it. Great service, fabulous food and quirky surroundings... what's not to like?
Very disappointing lunch , restaurant was pretty quiet , and I can see why given the cost of the food relative to the quality.
All of the food was bay and large ok , but frankly no better than a lot of local chines restaurants and therefore it’s difficult to justify the premium price.
Worthy of particular mention are the spiced lamb cutlets ( £29.50 for three or four cutlets) on one side the cutlets appeared well barbecued , however the chef had clearly forgotten to cook the other side which was completely uncooked!
Won’t be back
We had a great dinner here.
The crabcake was superb, the toasted almonds gave a great texture and the curried mayo was delicious. My wife had the hispi cabbage which she also loved.
We shared the sirloin which was very tasty and the carrots and chips were excellent.
The meat could have been a bit better for the price though - it wasn't bad, just not quite good enough given other places offer chateaubriand for not much more money.
The cocktails were ok, could be a bit more exciting.
Service was the highlight and was absolutely superb.
The waitress with the curly hair really knows how to host and is a credit to Kala.
We will definitely be back next time we are in Manchester.
the best awesome place cheap homely comfartable and safe far better than any coffee shops nice staff drink as many drinks and eat as much food as you like
Excellent dîner with my family, it wasn’t busy so it wasn’t noisy at all; cocktails were tasty as was the food which was also fresh; quantities were good. We had the guacamole and tuna ceviche to start with, followed by the sea bass salad and pollo asado with broccoli. Loved it! The staff was amazing as well and very accommodating as they knew my parents would arrive from France before me, and my train ran late. Definitely recommend!
