Fab bottomless brunch for my birthday. Food was great and service was brilliant. Karaoke after was a laugh x

Really cute venue, and the ramen was phenomenal

Lovely place to eat.. Feels cool and modern in its interior design. In a great location within walking distance of Chinatown. Host was friendly and on hand to answer any questions. Portions are big as are the small plates. Great atmosphere and there was no rush for the table, a real relaxed environment - which was great and made the experience more enjoyable. Will be coming back soon!

Dinner and Karaoke for a birthday at House of Fu was 100% a night to remember! Will definitely come back to make more memories

Wonderful meal as usual. Friendly helpful staff with great service, absolutely delicious food. We had the special chip shop gyoza - omg how delicious! We also had the special butter ramen which was wonderfully rich and umami.

1.-The starter was good, the quality of the cucumber and flavor were good. 2.-The ramen was spicy enough without being overpowering. 3.-The texture of the egg was not ideal, too cooked. 4.- The Choi pad came whole and with good texture. 5.- There is no Japanese beer option, only 1 brand they work with 6.- the atmosphere is very good but too impersonal 7.- the service was fantastic

House of Fu is a must-visit for ramen lovers! I had the Yuzu Chicken Ramen and it was absolutely delicious—light, flavorful, and refreshing with a perfect balance of citrus and savory notes. My friend tried the Spicy Fu Tantanmen, which had the perfect kick of spice and rich, deep flavors. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The atmosphere at House of Fu is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even better. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you're looking for a fantastic ramen experience, House of Fu is definitely the place to go. We will definitely be coming back!

Bottomless brunch don’t go we had 2 drinks in over one hour and when we spoke with the manager we was just offered one more drink so in total we got 3 drinks in a 90 min bottomless brunch Shows online video dj music at the bottomless with a good vibe however we was put in a little room off the main part with no music and zero atmosphere Food wasn’t great

went for karaoke with a group of friends & the mics kept cutting out & the sound quality is absolutely terrible. enjoyed ourselves all the same but I don't think I would come again

Excellent food, atmosphere and service! We came along with our young daughters, who absolutely loved and devoured their meals as did we! The server we had was attentive and very welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed today's dinner at fu . Lovely staff especially lauurwa . Accessible loos for anyone who needs . Perfectly authentic and fresh Japanese food , with a funky twist. The satay gyozas not to be missed !! My 16 y/o highly approved , which says alot . Funky and spotless surroundings . A bar as you enter and merchandise to buy aswell , I imagine the night times are amazing to . 10/10 we can't wait to return .

Ramen was average. Not terrible, but probably won’t come back.

While it may look like Japanese Ramen, it is not. I ordered the Original Fu Ramen and my biggest complaint is that it was not hot (temperature). The broth was weird compared to anything I've had in Japan. I would not order again. And when the music being played switched to rap music, that killed it. Rap music is NOT the proper ambience for eating in a restaurant.

We had a great time here. We got a mix of starters a main and a frozen cocktail all for £28. You can't argue with that.

House of Fu offers fantastic lunch deals that are both quick and affordable. The beef tantanmen, while delicious, is spicier than the suggested 6/10 heat level might suggest by their team. It’s a perfect spot for a tasty, budget-friendly lunch break.

We had bottomless brunch and half price karaoke afterwards. Was loads of fun and we got even more drinks with karaoke. Food was ok. Definitely do this again!

The best ramen I’ve had. I had the spicy pork one and it was delicious. The portions are huge too. Staff and atmosphere were lovely, will be go ing again.

Persuaded my fella to give this a go - turned up with no booking and Adam squeezed us in to the tightest slot, he proceeded to be the most efficient server, host, bartender, phone charger-er i’ve ever seen. In and out in 45 mins. Oh and the ramen was absolutely delicious, best I’ve had since CBRB opened!

Had an incredible experience at House of Fu. From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and fast. The ramen itself was a masterpiece: rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that were both fresh and delicious. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and service, but they’ve got it down to an art. Definitely deserving of a full 5 stars! Can’t wait to come back.

Cool venue, nice chill staff, good food and interesting menu.

We hosted our 10th birthday in the downstairs bar and it was an incredible evening! Amazing service both before and during the event - the team really care about making sure everything is perfect for you on the night - and we were really impressed with the food, drinks and overall set up. Having a self contained space with karaoke booths, decks, bar, toilets etc, complete with disco ball and a TV on the wall really made for an exclusive feel. 100% recommend for anyone looking to host a special evening!

Wow. Ramen heaven people. Spice Fu Ramen was top tier. Original was amazing too. Such a fantastic blend of ingredients that come together for these bowls of goodness. Enjoy folks

Went here on an invite not knowing what to expect. We were seated right in the middle of the dining room which meant that other customers were constantly brushing past us from all sides which made us feel very uncomfortable and annoyed. When I spoke to one of the staff about this (Caucasian guy, glasses, beanie hat, hoodie) he responded with a very rude and angry tone as if he had a big problem with me - I won't be going back and would not recommend.

Try Shoyru Ramen or Tokyo Ramen instead. Have visited House of Fu many times, unfortunately the last visit left an exceptionally negative experience. Unprofessional frustrated staff, along with poor quality food, with a rushed experience left us feeling like I wish I never visited. I raised my concerns via email twice and received no reply. Very disappointing. Below was my first review... 🥒 Cucumber salad, good but would of liked to have more flavour 🍚 Crunch chill rice, good 🍜 Ramen, AMAZING! It was lovely to have such attentive servers but it would be nice if they could wait until we finished our drinks to take them away.

We came to Manchester to visit, not expecting to find the best ramen we’ve ever had. Great taste, specially the egg and pork!! Extra points for the music. Also staff was really nice.

We came to try out the bottomless brunch and had the Korean Fried Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken Bowl + bottomless drinks for 90 min for £30pp. The food came (way) too quickly which was very worrying, and honestly didn't taste that good meaning we're really not keen to return and try the rest of the menu on a normal day. The drinks... Well, if you like your bubbly - the complimentary bottle of prosecco will be a nice gesture, same with the cocktails - frozen, semi-good really. Pina colada was the best one of all. Our waitress and other staff were very attentive and nice so that's definitely a plus. There was also a private dj, and if you're into your loud music - that's the place to go :) nice interior, very 'instagrammable' so that's a bonus for photo lovers, but if you are coming to just enjoy really good food, there are much better alternatives in the city. Sadly, won't return.

Just very okay. Came for my birthday and we were all split over two circle tables so could barely talk to each other which was very poorly planned by them. Our first server was absolutely lovely, so patient and nice. Our second server had such an awful attitude. We were working out the bill and felt so rushed and uncomfortable because of the way she was speaking to us. I understand that she was probably tired as it was the end of the day but she was huffing at us and just responded to everything by saying ‘sound’ really bluntly. The food was very very hit or miss. The spicy tofu rice bowl was totally unseasoned, no spice or flavour. The nduja ramen special wasn’t nice at all and the pancetta was so fatty and unpleasant, I gave up on trying to eat it after a while. The broth in other peoples food was so salty. The food here is nowhere near to the standard as it is in Leeds. I ordered a drink, I can’t remember the name but it was basically meant to be a spicy marg and it was awful. No taste of anything other than smoked paprika?? No sweetness or lime in it at all. Our server handled it so well and got a replacement for me so wasn’t too bad in the end. The toilets were absolutely disgusting, one out of order and two with no loo roll meaning that only one was usable and it was like a bomb had gone off in there, wet toilet roll all over the floor and it was just dirty and smelly. The music playing in the restaurant was overpowered by the super loud bass coming from downstairs. Just a really really weird environment, so overpriced and really lacking in so many areas. Such a shame as I love house of fu in Leeds but it seems to be falling really flat in Manchester.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and very lovely friendly staff. I went alone so I just order 1 shoyu chicken ramen, the soup was a little bit salty but the chicken was great very tender and smell delicious. They do take cash but should be the right amount since they don't have changes, the lady help me with the payment was really lovely!

Unreal food and amazing service! We absolutely loved our meal, it was so reasonably priced too. The meat and vegetarian/vegan options are brilliant. For anyone with a nut allergy, like me, House of Fu operates in a nut-free kitchen - another bonus! Will definitely be going back to try the other dishes.

We made a booking which we had to postpone twice and then cancel. We then rushed around and managed to squeeze in just before the kitchen closed. All the way through this the staff were nothing but friendly & accommodating. On top of that the food was excellent & the drinks were great. My only complaint was that the portions were so big that i couldn't finish it all! Even after all the delays!

Loved the decor of House of Fu. Neon signs and exposed brick walls. Great space. Greeted at the door by friendly staff who were happy to accommodate our request for a booth. Ordered the fried chicken and pork gyoza - both delicious - fried chicken was tender and moist and served with a delicious dipping sauce - gyoza came in 6 so easy to share and cooked perfectly - I had the spicy pork ramen with additinal BBQ pork - was absolutely delicious - my only complaint would be the booth was small for a man my size and the tables were low making it difficult to eat without getting ramen everywhere - great spot and would definitely recommend

Incredibly good ramen! Absolutely recommended! I had the vegan shiitake and kimchi ramen and it was absolutely delicious with perfectly cooked noodles. The atmosphere was cosy and cool, the staff very nice and helpful.

I attended an event here and also had a drink 🥃. It had a nice ambiance and was very colorful and picturesque.

Went out for my sister's birthday, karaoke was ok not the best, poor service, food was low quality not much choice, over priced drinks, or not got the ingredients for them, staff weren't intentive, the manger couldn't provide basic first aid, I had to ask for ice and assist their injury, good job I work for the NHS, slapped on a service change for what service? Don't waste your money here.

Bartender at the karaoke was very unfriendly, I found her to be very belittling the way she spoke to me and my sisters, The karaoke was really poor quality you could not even hear yourself on the microphone. As soon as I stepped in the time was already going down, even though we hadn’t set up any of our songs. Overall, I do not want to come here again it ruined my birthday weekend, especially the food! It looks good, but it tastes disgusting. Manager was very Unprofessional too, as there was an accident and he didn’t even attended to first aid, I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Went in there for a birthday weekend. We did the karaoke first which was disappointing as the microphones weren’t loud .. but there wasn’t clear direction of there to go and how to set it up…we had to ask 3 times for someone to help … as the lady bartender was unfriendly and unhelpful and spoke to us in a very demeaning manner. When we asked for drinks at the bar before gong in be aware that they might not have the drinks or ingredients in stock .. which is a shock for a place that sells food and drinks with a menu and this was never stated anywhere … when we ordered drinks to the room they took over 15 minutes even to do this via a qr code … and be aware that the time goes down in the booth as soon as I’ve paid which I think is a joke ….. When we went to sit down for a meal…the chairs were very uncomfortable and placed in a really stupid place …. The service again was poor and slow which includes the manager …The food was cold and tasteless for everyone … and they gave the food out at all different times which was unprofessional and disorganised again they didn’t have some things in stock or available …. If you going to run a business you’d at least make sure you have availability for all the food on your menu and drinks … it wasn’t busy at the time we sat down .. and when asking for the bill I had to ask 3 different staff after waiting and waiting. Where we sat there was a step like a platform where we were seated (which isn’t needed) and no sign to say or bright tape to say as it isn’t a big step out of your seat before that’s there … it should run in with the risk assessment as my sister fell and landed on her hands and I don’t think she will be the last or first to trip on it … she hurt her hand and her finger started to swell. We informed the manager of the fall and he never even gave her ice or looked at her finger as she was in pain and like I said it started to swell. Just out of courtesy, he should have done this … We had to ask for the ice …. He wouldn’t look at her finger as he says the only a level 2 so if somebody was choking, I would love to see what would happen then, as I’m definitely sure he wouldn’t be qualified enough to touch that person…. He even made a comment, trying to be smart like does she have a problem with steps and try to refer back to a curbs or stairs which are completely different as you are aware they are there whilst he said this he was smirking ….That’s was him trying to be smart about it all .. but was soon ok when I asked him about the health and safely or this should be written down in a book to be passed onto someone - which I didn’t see him write down and we didn’t sign anything … But let’s say someone had a disability/ learning difficulties or was visually impaired that is not a professional comment for him to make … and just felt the food and service was poor…. Even on the booking we asked for booth like seats as I have a bad back … not to be seated on a platform ….. it was just a bad time and we all wanted to go home….. my sister and myself we don’t drink so if he was thinking this was a factor it wasn’t .. So overall I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want tasteless food and unprofessional staff with no food or drinks on the menu.

Went on a Friday with a friend and in their defence we didn't book a table in advance, which in hindsight I will do next time as within 20 minutes of being given our food we were asked to be gone from the table in 15 minutes as it was booked. This ruined the whole experience and the food - which is upsetting because the food was quite nice. The servers seen to be not the best with customers. Would have preferred if they told us we couldn't have a table if we haven't reserved than rush us.

Love coming here, all the staff are super friendly, service is always amazing and the food is delicious! Decor & interior is also very pretty which is an added bonus! x

Just don't. Really bad food, disinterested service, and an atmosphere that probably looks good in photos but is headache inducing.

Was really looking forward to trying the ramen here especially with the January £10 deal but the food did not amaze me. It was alright- not bad but not great. I still enjoyed it but the ramen broth I found a tad salty and didn’t have the creaminess a tonkotsu normally has. Service at the start was good but gradually deteriorated. We were a group celebrating/saying our goodbyes for our coworkers last day. When one of the staff came and asked us if we were going to get the bill or not yet with a bit of attitude but we just brushed it off maybe we took it the wrong way. We said okay we’ll have the bill but felt like the tone of the night just took a twist. On our way out we were waiting for a friend to come out of the toilet we overheard them talking about us ‘taking the piss’. For a table that has a bill over £100 and having to pay service charge too I think this is unacceptable. Feel like the people who were not dressed in uniforms might be the managers - they were the rudest ones. All staff in uniform were very polite and lovely. It was a shame because I would have come back again to try different things but the service has put me off. I worked in restaurants before and understand the urgency to free up tables but this was quiet and there was so much space - was really unnecessary.

We had 3 different ramen and all the broths were very bland. The Gyoza was light on the meat and sauce was slightly spicy which was strange. Service and decor were nice but not impressed by the food. A lot better ramen elsewhere in Manchester.

Absolutely distraught and shocked by the management. Had dinner here today with friends and was apalled by the staff members, giving us the worst attitude and talking about us behind our backs by the bar especially the bald guy, i think hes the manager. Not coming back again. Wouldn't recommend x

Food was okay. The server was rude, talking about us behind our back. A group of 6 spending just under 2 hours at the restaurant while it's half empty being described by the servers as 'taking the piss'. Was rushed to pay the bill as well. Will not go back again.

The atmosphere is quite nice and the service was great. However, the food was a let down. We had the kimchi and cheese ramen which was just okay, flavours wasn’t balanced. Gyoza was dry and didn’t have much flavour. Prawn toast had zero prawn on it, it was literally just toast, I couldn’t believe that they could serve us that and expect us to not notice? Waitress was lovely and took it off the bill. Shame about the food..

Great vibes in here. Super quick and friendly service, good recommendations from the staff. The broth is incredibly flavoursome, I had the Original Fu Ramen with chicken instead of pork. I enjoyed this a lot. The portion was a bit small for a ramen but it was on the £10 lunch menu. Others had the Shoyu Chicken Ramen which was a good choice too. Lighting and decor is cool and there's karaoke here too which I will definitely come back for.

Went here the other day and absolutely loved the food. The spicy crispy minced meat in my ramen was delicious, and the pork itself was so tenderness! We shared some of the gyoza too which was pretty nice My only issue was the booth seating, it was very tight for anyone with 'large legs' to get through comfortably. And the table itself was so low we all hunched while eating. If there could be more comfortable seating I'd go time and time again! Staff were also very nice and friendly and love the calm vibe the resturant has with the neon lights! By far best ramen I've had in Manchester!

Nice restaurant just was'nt my cup of tea, food supplied without condiments. So you was stuck with the flavour of the ramen. Margarita very small to so we didn't order anymore drinks. Apart from that there was nothing wrong with the meal. Just nothing wowed us

It was okay really. I felt like my ramen was nice but not as nice as other places that I've visited. There was just something missing. I don't know - maybe I was bothered by the fact that they didn't serve any hot drinks at all. Then again maybe not. Who knows. I also had the pork belly too. That was nice enough. I probably won't return. The servers were attentive, mind.

I just savoured some seriously decent ramen and delicious chicken teriyaki at this gem of a spot. This place rocks a super cool vibe with its iconic pink swirling neon lights and laid-back atmosphere, and it's affordable. Highly recommended!

Not a fan. The chicken ramen had an unpleasantly strong charred flavour, the tonkotsu was a bit greasy and lacked any creaminess. Also both were a bit short of broth. Nice kimchi for £1 - but that was the best part of the meal.

Pretty disappointed by the Manchester site. After being to the leeds side a fair few times we couldn’t SHUT UP about this place to our friends and family. We were so happy they opened a site closer to home! We ordered the exact same food we like to get in leeds, kimchi, gyoza, salmon tartare and either the spicy tuna or a ramen bowl. Everything here was pretty flat and tasteless. The salmon tartare in leeds was tangy and juicy and made you want to order another one. Couldn’t quite put our finger on what was wrong with the one here (much smaller portion size for a start) until we had finished it and googled what “ponzu” was. It seemed our tartare was made using sesame oil and nothing else and was missing the key ponzu ingredient to make it juicy and tart - really disappointed as we had been bigging this dish up to everyone even saying it was better than the salmon tartare at sexy fish. The one in leeds is fantastic however this was awful and oily. The gyoza were also extremely oily and the kimchi was just vegetables with a slight hint of spice. Where’s the tangy punch, the juiciness? Unsure what has gone wrong with the Manchester site but this did not live up to our expectations. Spicy tuna bowl was far from spicy and I couldn’t see a single bit of hot sauce on the whole dish despite the menu saying it had it. Would probably head to the leeds site again but we won’t be in a rush to come here. If you can’t keep things consistent with the same menu then what’s the point? Service was average, seemed rushed and not very personal. Very sad as I’d rather not drive an hour just for some fantastic food when there’s one down the road!! Please sort as we would love to come back!

Ramen is alright, however service is terrible, demanding customer to pack their own table???? While I’m being charged with a service charge, I wouldn’t mind helping you out, but definitely not being demanded from you.

Delicious steaming bowls of ramen and tasty chewy gyoza! Oh my goodness! Looking for great food…look no further! We tried both the Original and Spicy FU ramen, and both were the amazing! Highly recommend the food and the team working there were all super friendly too!

Some of the best ramen I've had. The specials are also interesting, we got the Currywurst gyoza and they were really good. Really nice decor and atmosphere, plus the staff are really friendly and helpful. Has gender neutral toilets too, this is not something I personally need but always appreciate anyway.
