Nice hipster hangout but Permanently closed for months. No idea what those latest reviews came from… the cafe outside is still open though

Had a brilliant time in the pub. The staff were amazing. Sadly the only complaint is no disabled ramp to the pub. Disabled ramp to the toilet though.

Great foods from the two open units. But it was freezing as none of the heaters were on. Also is a shame that most of it seems closed down now.

I came here on Hatches last day as it was about to close down. Apparently it's set to be rebuilt. Anyway the food was amazing and it was great that you could order from different food places - so I could order plant based and my friends could order from a burger or steak place. I have eaten here a few times and there were loads of plant based options so I am hoping that will be the case when it re opens.

There is such a great atmosphere at Hatch and lots of great food from independent vendors. The variety of food is vast with something for everyone, most vendors serve vegetarian and vegan food, and there are also bars. The area is kept clean and tidy, there is always music playing and sometimes live music and shows. Service can vary from vendor to vendor with some being significantly slower than others but the quality does make it worth the wait.

Don't go here if you actually like food. Seen a lot of positive things online about hatch over the years and finally decided to go, most of our cocktails where tasty but they should sack whoever makes the strawbery daquris. All jokes aside, honestly feel let down by all the food. We tried multiple different vendors and nothing was up to scratch. Tacos were 90% sour cream and there was nothing authentic about them and they contained no seasoning whatsoever. Indian food had a strange after taste like the oil had gone off. For the price we paid at the least you'd expect some tasty food. Overpriced festival food, that wasn't even warm. Very let down and will not be visiting again.

The crumble place was lovely, good price, tasted great except the rhubarb wasn't great. Came out quickly too.

Would go again if in the area, good choice of food.

Awesome container based food, drinks, shopping and entertainment hub. There is something for everyone here, super cool, order through app and food arrives from different vendors. Unique cuisine, lots of veggie options and bars serving world beers and co ktails.

Lovely place with great food. Came here for lunch on a Sunday and was met by a very welcoming young woman who explained how it all worked. The food from the Sicilian place was gorgeous, and the House of Habesha food looked great too. Everyone was friendly and it had a very warm, relaxed feel.

Had some great food from Fuku Mcr, and enjoyed the great drink selections available from the on site bar

Not clean place. Is anybody in charge of cleaning the tables? They are all sticky. 5 or 6 different fast food stands and other odd shops.

Eine sehr moderne und stylische Location unter der Autobrücke. Viele Sitzgelegenheiten, am Sonntag Abend eher leer. Man ordert per QR-Code auf den Tischen, auch die Bezahlung läuft auf diese Weise. Ist Geschmackssache, mir gefällt es mit menschlichem Kontakt besser. Nach ein paar Minuten kamen unsere Getränke. Super ist, dass sonntags alle Pints nur 4,50 GBP kosten.

Great gem on Oxford road. Plenty of food places as well as bars and even a few shops. Sheltered from any adverse weather with a great atmosphere and a dj or live music on everytime I have gone. Very simple to order food via the QR code on the tables. You can also mix and match where you want to eat and drink from and they will bring it to your table. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming

We ordered two halves of cider. It was awful! I cried into my collection of Christmas crackers when I got home, and I've since had to order more from Amazon

Hatch is a street food 'venue' wherein many smaller vendors offer food to the same set of tables. Ordering is mainly through an app, though is also possible at some of the stalls directly. There is a bar with rotating craft beers available, and a stage where music is played on some more popular evenings. Seating is mostly outside under the motorway overpass or in covered areas nearby, and much of it is heated either with heat lamps or patio heaters. Hatch is popular with local university students and generally has a good atmosphere, as well as offering a wide variety of cuisines and catering well to those who are vegan/vegetarian/gluten free.

We had street food from the Indian stall at the Hatch. The food was amazing and the lady running the stall took the time to explain the various dishes and helped us choose. Next time I'm in Manchester, I will definitely go there again.

Hatch was fun! The team went for lunch there, sitting outside under cover. My arancini from T'Arricrii were delicious and everyone else's food from the other venues looked good, too, especially the vegan plate from House of Habesha. The only sadness I had was when I saw the outdoor heaters - not a good use of energy.

Worst experience we have had in a long time. Most frustrating app possible. Places closing once you've placed an order. Or cancelling on you after order placement as they don't serve the item until later. Although available to buy.

Apart from being right next to the stage, so literally deafened, the atmosphere was really interesting and unique, beneath the flyover, perfectly warm and dry despite it raining 'outside'. Food was excellent and served quickly, decent portions and reasonable prices. Closest I've felt to being back in Malaysia or Thailand, except in the UK...

Quick service, nice lively atmosphere, plenty of choice for food and drinks. The prices are fairly expensive (considering the student area) so don’t expect any cheap meals. I got the 2 tacos for £11 which seemed like a waste of money for that price.

If this is not the definition of a hidden gem, then I don't know what is. It takes a bit to reach it from the center but I would say it is well worth it. As far as I understand, every 6 months the businesses in there change for others so you will get new experiences always in terms of food and drinks. It is an amazing place to come with a friend to catch up. I paid 15 GBP for what you see in the picture and oh boy.. I did not had such a good stake in a looong time.

I love the Hatch! The venue has plenty of space so grabbing a table is never a problem. However, the option to reserve a table is easily done through their website. It attracts a wide variety of people from hipsters to students, and hosts a variety of live music performers which change weekly. Perfect for dates, friend meet ups or just a social drink among strangers in a beer garden style setting. There’s a wide variety of food and drink to choose from which is easily ordered via a QR code and bought directly to your table. Prices are a little high considering food/drink quantity and quality, but this can be easily overlooked. Now we are approaching the warmer weather, I’ll be sure to keep returning!

Can't fault this place really. It's great! Walk in, sit down, scan the tables QR code, access website, order food and drinks from any business and your order is brought to you. I haven't tried it all but it all looked good! We tried the new Pakistani street food place. Most of the food was delicious apart from the terrible "filler" - nachos! Not very authentic Pakistani I'd say. Nothing more than Doritos with spray cheese. 🤮. Don't let that put you off visiting Hatch, it's great!

Very casual atmosphere, very lively and friendly. There are loads of places to get food and drinks so there is something for everyone. You can pick a table, scan the QR code next to the table number and order food and or drinks from any of the places here. They will be delivered to your table. If you're with friends you can order different types of food from all these different places. Most of the places are specialised in few dishes so they are really good.

Great concept, great food and really easy to order. Food arrived quickly and cooked fresh to order. Although the weather was grey and miserable we were kept warm and toasty by an army of patio heaters. Unique dinning experience, will definitely visit again.

Puedes pedir desde la mesa escaneando un QR y te lo llevan. Muy cómodo. Los precios bien. El lugar es muy curioso y merece la pena aunque sea entrear y solo verlo.

I was invited to Hatch by a friend who knows I am vegan - with the promise of some good options. Well what can I say - this place is amazing. Great selection of super healthy vegan food & smoothies. Not only that there was live music & outdoor sheltered and heated areas to sit. You can either order food online to the table or wander around the various stalls to select your food & again have it brought to your table. Love the atmosphere and I would liken it to a smaller version of Covent Garden in London with a Manchester feel. In short you must try it out - you wont be disappointed.

I can imagine its amazing at a weekend but on a Tuesday not somewhere to go as most places are closed for food. Staff are lovely and Miami Ice bar is nice, but the Nachos aren’t great.

Love Hatch. Great informal place to eat and catch up with friends, have a drink if you want but not essential. I like the fact u can now order at table using the app and the tables are now covered from the elements. Great range of foods so you can try a range from different vendors. Tasty!

Different dining experience. Always something fun on. parmagedon is my favourite place for food! Sometimes can be too loud to hear people you're with but is always a good time.

Love the variety of places, the great atmosphere, the heaters (I've been a couple of times this winter and they're a lifesaver) and the amazing food. Pics are from my recent visit of some delicious loaded nachos and really lovely churros with chocolate custard. I really enjoyed the music too - great selection and not too loud as well. Can't wait to visit more over the rest of the year!

Amazing vibe, you can smoke inside at your table too! The steak/beef drip chips were to die for.

I've been here several times with large groups and always had a great time. I'd say this venue is ideal for group outings. You get a table, and everyone can order whatever kind of food/drinks they like delivered to the table. There is a varied choice of vendors, definitely something for everyone. In my experience, the food has always arrived promptly but is still fresh and hot.

so much choice, when I went there was QR code ordering from all the bars/restaurants so it was really easy to see what everything had to offer, there’s clothing shops to browse as well as dj’s playing music in the evening! I’ve ate here a few times and I loved everything I had, and the cocktails are brilliant!!
