Suki Suki Street Food & Bar in Manchester

The ramen broth was amazing, although the chicken was a bit stringy and chewy. Mocktail was nice. Seating was a bit awkward. Sat at the bar type seating, which was a bit uncomfortable after a while.

Suki Suki was hands down the best place I have eaten at in a while (and I eat out a lot)! I won an Instagram competition to eat at Suki Suki and it was incredible. Everything was perfect - the venue is really cool, the food and drinks were all absolutely delicious (impressively big portions). The staff were so so lovely, they went above and beyond to help in any way that they could. I had an amazing time and was so impressed. Shout out to Rozz who served us, you're an absolute gem. I'll certainly be coming back.

Served by Daisy who was fabulous! Very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. However our friend who was coeliac, and unfortunately some of the menu items that were designated as GF were unsuitable for her! Bit disappointing. Otherwise the food was fabulous and the atmosphere is lovely!

Amazing food as always. Great vibes and a brilliant spot for a quick bite on your own or with a mate / partner. The ramen is good and the little spin with the different soup bases gives this place the edge. Service is good, thank you to Harvey and the team for providing great service. Pretty good experience as a whole on a lunch deal. Karaage Chicken ramen with the new curry broth. Came with egg, nori, Pak Choi and spring onion. A top dish! My friend had the teriyaki chicken with egg fried rice which he wasn’t impressed with as it was barely warm, as well as looking and tasting quite bland and processed.

I just LOVE this place. My favourite ramen in the city (specially the tonkotsu with charsui). The atmosphere is cosy, beautiful and romantic. And the service absolutely kind and attentive. This time they sat is in a table even if we accidentally booked for the bar; and they mixed a cocktail specially for me as they didn’t have a dairy free alternative as dessert for me. A must go!!

I come here every night for my late night food and it’s lovely. UB and Manish always make sure that I am satisfied by providing amazing service and always welcoming me. The food they make is always nice and tasty.

The chicken in the bao buns was really dry and literally no seasoning on the salt and pepper chips. My boyfriend enjoyed his ramen though, didn’t get any service after our food arrived was literally dropped on to the table then the guy walked straight off without asking if we needed any cutlery etc or another drink, no one came to check if the food was ok or anything then had to go and ask for the bill. Some of the staff are really moody but not all of them

Me and me girlfriend have been coming here for about a year and the food is always amazing as well as the service and the atmosphere. I’ve got to say the food is great in this place. However, the service doesn’t match up as well. We was given our food, we eat it and asked for the bill. It took a whole half an hour until we was actually given the bill. We was then rushed out despite the amount of free seats around us and before we could even check the bill we had a card machine put in front of us. Upon later inspection we saw the dreaded ‘service charge’. I’m sick of this ridiculous payment. Don’t we pay for the service charge in the extortionate price of every meal? It’s ridiculous, and especially after paying this ‘service charge’ we was then be rushed out of the building. Won’t be returning. Just to add on to this I have now been up all night with an upset stomach.

The food is ok but the first time we came is a bit this appointing because they said it fully book should take 1.5 hours to get the table but then I try to book online it’s just 30 minutes wait.

Truly one of my favourite places in Manchester! A massive amount of options for really good prices. Our server was Harvey and was so welcoming and friendly! Suki Suki have a great team.

Ella served us and was great. Guided us through the menu and options. She suggested the duck gyozas that we weren’t going to order and they were amazing.

Incredible experience, I made a mistake and thought I hadn’t been given an extra topping when in fact I had. Walked back in a huff to return it, when I realised the team still offered to make me another one as it was now cold from the walk. Never had customer service like it, I will absolutely be going back, can’t recommend it enough.

The food was alright but I did not appreciate the fact that the staff forced me to pay for the service charge. The service charge is optional and can be removed if requested. When I asked to have the service charge removed she said that she couldn't and when I said that it is optional and it can be removed she said it can't and charged me it. I am very disappointed I was forced to pay for something that by law is optional.

Ok, wow. I have been aching to go to Suki Suki since I started hearing about this place and it was worth the wait! It is so nice inside, it’s reasonably priced, and the food is fire🔥! Let me explain. When you walk in, you are greeted with an urban vibe that fits the industrial feel of Manchester. The staff are really nice, and are really enthusiastic! But that was not the reason I came here… The food is heavenly. I had a Karaage Chicken Ramen with Miso broth and chilli oil. Usually, people think of ramen as two things: 1. Some instant noodles, akin to a Pot Noodle. 2. A comforting broth with tender meat and noodles. My ramen was the latter. It was so good. The chicken somehow stayed crispy, even though it’s in a broth (even a detective can’t solve how they do it) AND SPEAKING ABOUT THE BROTH, the Miso broth was so delicious, it was tangy and sweet. Also, the chilli oil took it to another level, it made it somehow even more comforting and spicy! It was so heavenly that I wanted another bowl but my stomach said no, and I’m still mad at him (sorry stomach). I paired the ramen with a Diet Coke, which is an underrated hack from me! The invigorating taste helps soothe the spice, and well, Diet Coke is just nice, I can’t really say anything else. Speaking about drinks, you get a complimentary bottle of water with your ramen, which is great because who doesn’t want water with their food, it cleanses the palate! Just an Honourable Mention, Suki Suki are doing a deal (don’t remember the name) but it is basically where there is a select few dishes (e.g. my Karaage Chicken ramen or a Katsu Curry) just for £10. Plus, you can add some Gyozas and a soft drink just for £5 (don’t remember the exact price but it’s somewhere around £5). This is great for people on a budget or people who are suffering from the inflating costs of Cost of Living - kudos to Suki Suki for doing this! Overall, this place is amazing 🤩 and the food is delicious. Also, Suki Suki is in Deansgate, which is a few minutes away from Manchester Arndale (the big shopping mall in Manchester) and Selfridges. I will be coming back as I really want to try the Katsu Curry, so excited! Wasn’t in mood to go to your place, hence why decided on home delivery. Food was delivered (x2 ramens, x1 set of 3). Over salted ramen broth, chicken full of joints and not really pleasant to eat. Felt like 50£ was wasted for no reason, won’t come back again guys.

Waitresses didn’t crack a smile for their life, booked bottomless buns, managed to order three buns in 90 mins (as service slow as hell), overpriced (£32 for three buns and a Coke), buns covered in this awful sauce that made them taste all the same, terrible table where we were even told to “help ourselves to the chopsticks table down there”. Im not one to complain ever, but when I’ve been in bed with food poisoning for 2 days I think it’s needed to be made aware. I got this as a take away after being at a bar in town with my friends. It’s a shame because the staff were lovely but will definitely not be eating from here again. It was the salt and pepper chicken that I got. I didn’t realise it was pink until it was to late and I’d already eaten most of it.

The food certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly astonishing either. I had Pad Thai, which is rather hard to get right, but I've had better elsewhere. My partner wasn't too blown away with his ramen dish. The salt and pepper chips were very bland. I can't complain about the service and we got our food rather quickly.

My girlfriend and I were very interested to eat here as it smelt godly outside the establishment. We popped in, got seated by the front window which we enjoy watching people go about their lives so we were fine with seating other people would maybe find inadequate. We received the food very quickly. However, none of it lived up to the amazing aromas in the air. The main courses we had were tofu pad thai and curry chicken ramen. Both were good or okay but wouldn't be dying to return to get them again. For some reason the establishment has an obsession with red onions as my girlfriend's pad thai and the salt and pepper chips we got were both laced with mounds and mounds of red onion. Speaking of which, the salt & pepper chips were singlehandedly one of the most disappointing dishes I've ever had in Manchester. It was basically a tiny portion of plain, unsalted and unseasoned chips covered in red onion with a couple pepper pieces. I do not recommend at all.

Very quick and super tasty. I probably had the best curry of my life here. We waited maybe 10 minutes and will definitely come back on the next trip to Manchester. Can be recommended without reservation!

A buzzing little place on two floors ! In the heart of Manchester Deansgate ! A nice entrance staff are cool not in your face I asked for help and cool lady helped me out with the menu as I am not good with them ! I had chicken with bread crumbs with egg fried rice & sweet sauce . The rice is cooked to perfection & the chicken very crispy sauce not to spicy ! Upstairs is amazing, toilets are spotless seating areas are cool ! So go and enjoy it , next time I will be with my son !

Only managed to get seats in the window as it was busy even on a Monday, but Joe and Ella took great care of my friend and I for his birthday, and the birthday cheesecake was gorgeous!

Yummy bao buns. So customisable, they let us get two different bao buns on one plate and they let us change the sauces around as well. The ones we didn’t eat we got to take home. 10/10 recommend. Our server was lovely too :)

Got the chicken bao bun and the chicken was stale... and I saw a mouse run across the floor. Staff were rude and took forever to take our order and were just moody.

I had the lunch express (chicken teriyaki with fried rice and veg gyoza). The check was great and the gyoza was steamed (i prefer fried ones). The cauliflower steak katsu was absolutely another level of taste. I loved it ! The guy st front was kind to show me to my table and I was served by Daisy, a quick waitress who attended promptly to my needs. This was my second time eating at Suki Suki and I will be back. We were struggling to find a place for food with a 7 year old and a dog! Partly our own fault as we were walking aimlessly and it was pretty late. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, were super fun and very accommodating! Food and drinks to match 10/10.

It’s our second time visiting Suki Suki, and it won’t be the last!! We’ve had ramen both times now and it’s been so tasty, the broth is awesome. Ella (or it could be Emma (I’m embarrassed to admit that I can’t quite remember (she was blonde and nice))) served us and she was amazing. A real credit to the Suki Suki team (I think a promotion and/or a pay rise wouldn’t go a miss). She was so efficient!! A quick in-and-out job and we’re off on our way, with a belly full of good food and a smile on our faces! Goodnight.

Sat for 45 minutes during lunch hour on a working day, and watched everyone around us get seated and served after us, only to cancel our order and realised they hadn't even started our order and forgot about us. They then charged us for the two soft drinks we had and didn't seem to care.
