I finally visited this little noodle bar that had been on my list for a while now . Nestled in the bustling streets of the city, this hidden gem proved to be a delightful surprise. Delicately stir-fried, they boasted a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors, interspersed with succulent shrimp and fresh vegetables. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I savored every bite until the very last noodle. To complete my feast, I ordered the salt & pepper chicken wings, and they turned out to be a revelation. The wings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Very disappointed on this occasion. Have supported Fuzion since it first appeared in Fallowfield and usually visit every 3-4 months and really enjoyed the food there previously. I am certain the chef has changed. The food didn't taste like anything it should have done. The Pad Thai taste more like it had been fried with tomato ketchup and some stock instead of fish sauce and soya sauce and didn't have any peanuts. Laksa soup was very dilute and lacked punch and the teriyaki udon was so sweet the tofu pieces tasted like a pudding. Portion sizes were still ok though. They need to get back to basics with prioritising taste as well as ingredients.

always a hit - be it 2013 or 2023. this was the first place my elder sister took me to when she started studying in manchester. the food has always been tasty, fun and affordable.

I have tried their food several times now and I have to say its nothing really special. In all cases, I have experienced that the dishes had no balance of flavour. I must also say that given the standard of their food, they charge considerably more than what they should have. For example, prawn crackers should never cost 5 pounds (many Chinese takeaways give them for free). I would not recommend this place. If you are craving Asian food, Yo Yo Noodles just around the corner is a much better and much cheaper option.

Not been here in a long time. Food is still great and service was very fast. The salt and pepper chips and squid were fantastic, and highly addictive. They are very generous with the portion size of their mains so be careful when ordering! The only negative thing is that dishes can be quite expensive and does add up quickly but I guess thier portions and food quality does make up for it.

Have eaten here for years, the best food in Manchester! Can’t fault them, brilliant staff in the restaurant and delivery is always quick and hot. Can’t wait to go back!

10/10 Authentic Cuisine, Great taste & customer service.

Was super hungry and this place really hit the spot, the chilli beef noodles was amazing and HOT. The nasi goreng was great but I feel like it couldve been better, there was a powdery texture to it that ruined it slightly, had basic garnishing no egg no other salads. Couldve done with crispy chilli shrimp. The korean wings were crispy, but the taste did not appear korean at all, i wasnt overly keen with it sadly Overall I loved the concept and the food was of great portion size but the eye on detail of staple dishes was just not there so one star less.

I went for lunch at 2.20pm and it was empty as it just opened a few mins before that. The service was quick and the food was good. I had the malaysian laksa and ofc the taste differe from the one you originally get in Malaysia, but it was tasty enough to satisfy my cravings. Will come again to try other things!

Really enjoyed the food here, need a return visit to try more dishes. Ordered nasi goreng and chicken yakisoba and it was delicious! Seating is rows of tables so it's likely you'll be sitting next to others if it's busy. All meat is Halal Serve alcohol on premises

Fave place to eat in Manchester. Food has never ever failed me, consistently delicious and portions are very generous. Ive tried their Malaysian Lakhsa, Nasi goreng, pad thai, crispy sweet chill beef with noodles and mee goreng as mains and have tried their salt & pepper squid, salt n pepper chips and korean wings as starters. Highly recommend all of the above!

Value for money: 10/10 Absolutely tasty, big sized portions, lovely service, quick and easy. Priced reasonable, atmosphere was very inviting, different and unique and welcoming!

Halal options and overall a Decent lunch

Visited years ago for some noodles, returned more recently for a soup. Very impressed both times. Plenty more on the menu I'm eager to try.

Smashing, unassuming place to eat. Been a few times and had takeaway too. Food never disappoints. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are lovely. Like a far, far better Wag's... in every way.

Had an excellent meal here on Saturday night, my friend with us had been last time he was in Manchester and recommended it. The food was all delicious, I got the sweet chilli chicken balls with noodles and the other 3 all got katsu curry. We were all impressed. The portion sizes were huge and really fresh and tasty. The service was great too, the staff were really friendly, and the vibes and lighting were great.

Absolutely beautiful ambiance and decor. The seating although a bit cramped simply adds to the beauty of the place. Ordered crispy sweet chilli beef and I have no complaints to that effect, the food was absolutely delicious with the right mix of sweet and chilli and the right amount of sticky in the rice. Also ordered the wings as a side and those I wasn’t a fan of and would rather pass up on. All in all it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend going.

We decided to book a table prior to arrival but not required. We did arrive around 6:30pm few tables were in. Out side the restaurant is not that bright but inside was Wow experience. We had nasi gorang and mee gorang the taste was fantastic and felt authentic. Waiting staff had good knowledge about food and drinks they served. I would recommend soju as a appetiser drink and tap water to keep you hydrated. If you have kids I would recommend to take some activities keep them occupied. Food arrived to table pretty quick and nice and warm.

Fabulous authentic asian food: One of the best we have had in years. You will find is restaurant on the Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield. The service was excellent and the place is very clean with traditional look. We went as a family of four adults & two kids. We tried few various dishes from their delicious menu, everything was perfect. Spicy Mee Georang and Nasi Georang served with load of chicken and prawns. Kids tried Wok Fried Noodles with Korean Spicy Chicken Wings, they are really appetizing. Mocktails & Jasmine Pearl Tea were a great touch. Jinro Sohu was absolutely spot on 🤩. The staff (specially Ryan) was extremely welcoming, excellent prices, we will definitely be back.

Not been before so had to try it out, the food was amazingly flavoursome the noodles hit the spot straight away and the rice dish had flavours cooked right through which was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prawn gyoza I got was nice and tasty. Would definitely recommend the place. One advice if you go quite late don't park in the car park on the side as it's privately owned and the barriers get closed. Plenty of parking on the side streets.

Visited on a whim while in the area and will definitely come again. I got the singapore halloumi fried rice and salt and pepper cauliflower and both were delicious veggie options. Portiona are huge so being an appetite but if you don't finish your food they will bring you a to-go container so order everything that looks good and it's guilt free if you have to take some home for later.

Came here with my friend Saveeda, tipped the waiter/till guy £10 cause he was just such a polite, humble and well mannered young dude. The food was delectable. I'll return next time im in that area of Manchester!

I love this place it is a great place to meet friends before going on to something. The salt and pepper squid is a good starting point and anything you get from the menu is always packed with flavour, I strongly recommend trying things you might normally avoid as even the tofu is good.

Had a katsu curry and chicken firecracker. Food was superb.

Really not very enjoyable, unfortunately. The prawn gyozas were good, as was the squid, if not a touch overseasoned. The Korean cauliflower was massively overcooked, and was mush, as well as the batter being soggy. The yakisoba was very, very overseasoned. The only flavour was salt. I couldn't get beyond a few mouthfuls and I had the leave it (it takes a fair bit for me to put down a plate of food). Really disappointed overall.

Portion sizes are mega, and the squid is the best I have had. Lovely service too. I would possibly prefer slightly smaller plates and a smaller charge (as feedback for management)

Fusion is one of the best asian/Chinese food restaurants in Manchester. a good selection of street food and mains from South East Asia. The food is consistently excellent and super fresh. The staff are friendly, helpful and on hand. You could be mistaken for thinking your in a Tokyo noodle bar. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I had the nasi goreng with salt and pepper wings. I have been to this place for a number of years and the flavours always hit the spot. The portions are always large and I have to take them home because I can never finish it. Excellent service from ordering to asking for the bill. Very reasonable price priced. Yum

Fuzion has always been INCREDIBLE, and I could never fault it. Been eating there regularly for around 5 years, mostly Deliveroo As part of a croup order I had pad Thai and salt and pepper squid which were always my staples. Sadly the pad Thai just tasted plain, none of the classic pad Thai flavour and actually didn’t even taste salted. The chicken also tasted like it had been nuked in the microwave, again had no flavour and also tasted a bit off to me so didn’t eat any of it. The squid was tough and hardly had any salt and pepper seasoning and instead was covered in crispy onions. Usually, it’s the best in Manchester! I know it’s been lockdown and Covid restrictions, so all businesses have had to alter recipes etc, but this was just so disappointing. Previously the price was always worth it as it was head and shoulders above all others, but this just was not. Hoping I just had a bad batch, and would defo give them another chance as they’ve always been fab but if it’s the same next time we order I won’t be going back. Such a shame!

Quality Food and Excellent Service

Freshly cooked, super flavours, great service…we loved it. The menu is really diverse with choices of food & drink to suit all of us from a meat-loving 15 year old to a middle-aged veggie who doesn’t like nuts or cauliflower.

The salt and pepper chicken wings are the greatest wing to have but then also get the Korean sticky wings too because they’re fantastical. The katsu curry is a belter says Jacob & the salt & pepper squid was divine. Utter amazonian.

When we were greeted the front of house waiter was rude and looked annoyed we were there. Despite over-hearing small complaints from other customers we gave it the benefit of the doubt as we heard good reviews. The food was disappointing with the exception of the wings. Won’t be going back dream wok right next to it is better in almost every way. Poser restaurant for wanna be hipster uni students.

Never had Asian food like this before. First time coming to Fuzions. Ordered a couple of starters and couple of mains. I was not disappointed. Food was made to perfection and fresh. Can't say anything about this except that I would highly recommend to people to come and try it out.

Have eaten here a few times. And it is one of my faves! The food is reasonably priced and portions are great. I always have the katsu curry. And the lychee green tea is one of the best I've tasted.

Beautiful food.. And I'm so fussy! This is definitely my go to place now, especially for the Chicken Yaki Soba, I've thoroughly enjoyed it every time, looks amazing and tastes even better.

Hair in our food: Came to have a nice meal and there was HAIR in the food - mixed within rather than just on top. We were so lucky to have noticed it. Absolutely zero remorse from the staff other than offering to bring it out again. This was a main meal that was brought out by itself rather even though we ordered chips for starters which were still not ready. One of us were still waiting for our mains 10minutes after the other arrived. We then decided that there was no peace of mind eating there and now had to go somewhere else to order again and eat. You would expect more responsibility and respect for causing such inconvenience clearly something the staff here don't have. Mistakes are made but the staff here just don't seem to care about their customers. Won't be going back again.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and boiled rice via Deliveroo on 03.10. The rice was undercooked, the chicken was tough and inedible. I reported this to Deliveroo at the time. Since Tuesday I have been suffering with food poisoning. I was the only person who ate this meal, no one in my household or workplace has been ill or had these symptoms. I’ve lost nearly a weeks worth of wages and I wouldn’t wish this level of sickness on my worst enemy. I contacted Deliveroo again who advised the restaurant would be in contact with me due to the seriousness of the report. I have had no such contact and nothing further has been done. This has now been reported to Manchester City Council regarding the food safety concerns as no one has bothered to take this matter seriously.

We usually order from here about once a week but decided to pop in for first time tonight. Staff were great, food was great, highly recommend the salt and pepper cauliflower and the broccoli noodle soup.

Very disappointed, from a regular customer, I ordered my food for 18:00 hours and get a message at 17:20 that it's ready. By the time I got it home it was quite cold. Sean.

I’ve been going to Fuzion for many many years as it used to be one of my favourite restaurants. Last time I went, it was so disappointing. Such a shame the menu has changed, why only offer sauce based dishes with boiled rice, not happy! Ordered chicken noodles, the taste was just of a burnt taste and soo plain, in the past it used to have strong flavours of sesame and flavour. It was the worst noodles I’ve ever had. The only things that have remained good are the calamari and salt and pepper chips, please do not change the recipes for these at least!

The flavours are so well chosen and I literally made myself want some of their prawn pad thai just writing this.
