Sixes Social Cricket in Manchester

Had a lane for an hour for my stag, chips great and affordable drink. Bar staff forgot to add a load of drinks to our tab so comped them. Asked if we'd review as collateral. Good stuff regards Albert

Together with another family with young children we visited Sixes before a football match for lunch. Everything was very clean, good food was served quickly, and the lady in charge cleared up a mix-up with my reservation very professionally. She made us all feel very welcome. The kids had a great time in the cricket nets. It was great that you can adjust the speed of the bowling for each player so that everyone had a challenge. A big shout out as well to the friendly bar man. Many thanks! Highly recommended!

So much fun, great food, drinks and happy hour offers. Marcus was an absolute gem, so attentive and friendly and really talked us through the game. Would definitely recommend for a fun evening and we will be back!

Came to Sixes for a fun evening out and had a great time! Really enjoyed the game, it was smooth to play and really fun! Nadia was our server and she is a joy - honestly super sweet and helpful! The happy hour drinks were delicious and hit the spot perfectly. Will be back! :)

My girlfriend and I were really excited to visit here but wouldn’t be in too much of a rush back. We turned up early as instructed to register us as players but were immediately rushed over to the nets with the offer to start straight away. No offer for drinks was made despite advertising table service and there was a strong oil smell as we were right next to the kitchen. We weren’t told the 30 minutes had already started ticking before she started to explain how it works to us, so we lost out on a few minutes of play and no way to pause the clock. We didn't eat or drink due to the lack of service and with the clock ticket, we couldn’t take a break to go and get a drink. Poor service all round from the staff this evening and was out the door as quickly as we came in.

The cricket aspect was great albeit it broke down several times. One lady (ginger hair, chequered shirt) was excellent and tried to fix it each time, was apologetic etc. Other than that, the staff were pretty useless. 20 minute wait for table service, seemed to want to stand at the bar on phones rather than serve people. Wasn't the great experience that many others seem to have had.

Fun place for something a bit different, good value for money on cocktails and fun to try and hit some balls with the bats. Goes quickly because you’re constant rotating around your group.

We went to sixes a couple of weeks ago and I was genuinely so impressed! We went on a Sunday at 5:45pm so it was only £20 for the two of us for 30 minutes which I thought was amazing value, we didn’t get any food but the drinks were standard price aswell so I’d definitely recommend it for a day out if you don’t want to spend a ton of money. I know nothing about cricket and wasn’t really sure what to expect but it’s really well set out for all abilities and we had such a great time. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the staff were brilliant, Niall and Nadia looked after us and were absolutely amazing! Thank you guys so much for making it such a brilliant visit, we’ll definitely be back x

What a great night! Perfect activity for a birthday celebration Forget bowling, darts or golf, this is where it's at. Big thanks to Marcus for all his help, made a huge difference to the success of the evening. We enjoyed it so much we're booking 8 people in a few weeks time Birthday boy was annoyed though, as his wife scored 104 but had never played cricket before!

Had such a great time here! The mix of batting cages and a bar is already a win, but what really made the night was the service. Niall was fantastic—super friendly, helpful from the moment we walked in, and just made the whole experience really easy and fun. You can tell he actually cares about making sure people have a good time. Also, if you go, you have to try the spicy margarita.

This place is such a fun spot, whether you’re into batting cages or just looking for a cool bar with great service. My friend and I went, and we were lucky to have Niall as our server (genuinely one of the nicest, most helpful people). He made sure we had everything we needed and just had a friendly attitude the whole time. Also, the spicy margarita? Absolutely top-tier. If you’re a fan of a little kick in your drink, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful night. The cricket was very fun and had different levels to suit all abilities, including complete beginners. The food was also delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken burger. Our server, Niall, was extremely helpful and ensured our every need was met. He went above and beyond in his customer service, making sure that we always had any food and drink we needed. He had a positive and friendly attitude and brightened our night.

Visited with my Dad and daughter as we had 2 vouchers as Christmas gifts from my brother in Australia. Sadly, my Dad had sent two of the same voucher to my email (other one was at home on his work email) and we thought we couldn’t use it. However.. the absolutely lovely Grace allowed us to go home and forward the voucher on to her which I cannot fault. Absolutely amazing service! The atmosphere was great and we had the best fun playing the social cricket. The only downside (and i feel really bad saying this after the amazing customer service) was the food. I don’t mind paying Manchester prices but to get a small, dry burger and tiny portion of chips wasn’t good at all. My daughter had a kids meal and the adult portion was exactly the same (same bun and burger, just an extra patty. And same size portion of fries).. but was double the price. So not value for money at all sadly. But thank you again for the experience and amazing customer service. We will be back to play soon :) xx

Yep, four sets of nets with all the gear to experience a sort of cricket with your friends. All the nets get booked up quite quickly, I think you can book them online. But it looks fun echoing arrived in the basement. The bar is pretty standard, the kitchen was closed when we visited so can't say about the food. Fun place to visit and try your skills against the bowling machine.

Really enjoyed it. Staff were also nice, and gave us free chips for being generational talents (I assume) Will 100% do this again

Went last night for pre gig food & drinks as it was nice and close to the concert venue. Really good beer, nice space & the burgers were one of the best I’ve had in Manchester. But what absolutely made our visit was the fantastic service from all the staff. Immediately offering to set up a tab, bringing drinks to our table, noticing that we were looking at menus and taking the time to come up and let us know when the last orders for food would be. I’ve been lucky enough to eat in many of Manchester’s ‘fine dining’ restaurants & I’ve honestly not been as well looked after by the staff at those as we were last night. Will definitely become my go to place for a casual drink or food when in the city centre.

We went for my husbands birthday, I had to call up last minute to make some changes and they were so accommodating. I spoke to Scott on the phone and he was so lovely and really helpful. The Venue is nice looking and the happy hour drinks are a nice touch. I would definitely recommend giving it a try 👍

Booked for 5.45 but didn’t get in the actual cricket until 6. Roasting hot and air con wasn’t working but the heating was on full blast in the toilets . iPad ran out of charge which runs the game , machine ran out of balls. The whole thing seems a bit tired and in need of refresh

I booked Sixes as we were seeking an all-in-one event space, caterer and social team activity and had been frustrated by the lack of agility and seemingly unreasonable charges from other such businesses in central Manchester. Whilst our event was far from unique, we did have a specific set of requests from arrival time and organising the space in a certain way to ensuring that we could deliver the presentation in our preferred format and I'm pleased to say that prior to the day the Sixes company events manager Dan was responsive and reassuring and on the day of the event the venue manager Grace was an absolute star. The Sixes team on duty in Manchester were very attentive and proficient and dealt with our specifically timed agenda and logistics with confidence and assurance. The venue was just perfect for our informal AV presentation interspersed with interactive demonstrations and couldn't have worked any better. We then moved from the open planned space into the games room for food and games before heading back to the nets for Social Cricket. The food was simply great, a choice of a Burger or Pizza with countless options for toppings and suchlike (which we had pre-ordered ahead of the day and the venue were able to accommodate vegan, gluten free and intolerances) and everybody enjoyed it. The whole team at Sixes worked hard to bring the food from the kitchen to the room ensuring it was hot and fresh and we had no complaints. After eating and a couple of drinks from the extensive drinks menu we moved to the nets to play Cricket in the simulator. A mix of ages and experience was met with enthusiasm by all and the experience on offer is miles away from the traditional automatic bowling machines of old. You stand in front of a large digital screen with a small rectangle in it and as the bowler approaches and delivers a speed and type of ball of your choosing through the hole (you can even select famous bowlers and specifically simulated world cup cricket overs,) it's excellent and great fun! Overall, I couldn't recommend the venue highly enough. The attitude and effort of the duty manager Grace and her dedicated team are a credit to the Sixes brand and the venue itself is a well-thought out and designed space offering the perfect blend of function and fun. Highly recommended for the experience that we had and should the opportunity arise to be in Manchester again seeking a venue for such an event we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Took my son and three of his mates for his 9th birthday today. I cannot fault the day whatsoever. Gutted I didn’t get the name of the two staff members who made our day extra special. We were booked in for 10:45am but enjoyed it that much, booked a further 45 mins an hour later. Staff couldn’t do enough. The cricket itself is class as well. Thanks a lot Sixes Manchester and we will absolutely be seeing you again soon.

Went to try this place out for the first time today after hearing lots of good things. Got there with my friend and seemed like a nice place. Wandered around for less than a minute to see what the game was like. At this point we were approached by a security guy who asked us if we have a booking, after we said no, he informed us they were fully booked. We said no problem, we're just gone stay for two minutes to see the game being played. The security guard then told us no, we needed to leave now and started ushering us out and putting his hand behind my back to show me out. When I asked why are you taking us out immediately, the security guard said I wouldn't even have let you in the front door had I been there and you didn't have a booking. Our treatment by the security guard was disgusting and this place is the first place I've been no booking meant we were kicked out of the place and not even allowed to get a drink or sit at the bar, which plenty of other people were doing. An utterly horrible experience for what seemed like it might be fun. The owners need to make to have a chat with this guard and explain customer service to him. If he was acting in line with policy, then this should be made clear on the website and at the front door.

El concepto es bueno, sin embargo, para grupos muy grandes (más de 8 personas) tener un solo lanzamiento de bateo es un juego de espera. A los 20. 40 nos pidieron que tomáramos pedidos, sin embargo no hay necesidad de pedir los 13 platos al mismo tiempo, a las 20. 45 nos informaron que la cocina estará cerrada a las 21. 00 y solo quedan 6 pizzas. . . . no es bueno!

So as an avid fan of cricket on girls weekend away I thought I would take everyone to sixes cricket so they can experience the game for themselves. There were 8 of us and we were shown to the net and then basically just started playing. All was going great we were having a whale of a time. None of us had noticed that the floor had started to come us (basically small plastic mesh tiles that interlock) you would assume its ok because the staff checked this before and another family had just left. Whilst playing cricket literally 30 minutes into our session I tripped on the lifted tiles and banged my arm quite severely which is now very bruised and grazed. Fetched the staff and showed hem what had occurred they were just like oh well we will fix the floor. After around 10 to 15 minutes they starting to pack the tools away and said oh you can carry on. We asked for extra time but still some of the flooring was left up so got them to repair again. No care from the staff, not one person asked if I was ok, no writing in the accident book on site or taking my details or any compassion at all basically shown. You need to get staff who want to work there and who will be engaged because this let down the whole experience. I have also emailed head office to advise but no response as of yet! I would suggest that if you do go check the area is safe beforehand you go. This ruined the whole experience before this we had the best time and everybody loved game and the place

We celebrated our sons first birthday here, at Manchester Sixes Social Cricket! Had a total of about 25 guests and was unsure how to manage it all but all staff, literally all the staff (especially Neil, Shiva, the gentleman who helped to organise the Cricket) were really helpful throughout the event to ensure everything went according to plan. It would not be possible without them. Caring, patient, understanding and accommodating were the staff and I could not ask for more. Highly recommended this place for anyone looking to hold celebratation or just want to go in for a good time! The food was great too...the Veggie chicken with the chips was awesome!

Absolutely incredible service! We had the best day ever. The batting cage was so fun and being able to change the difficulty levels for each person was a fantastic idea! Niall was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious I enjoyed the make your own pizza and the flaming candy floss, what a rush! Cocktails were unique and tasty too. Cannot fault it

Came for a family gathering and was my nephews 18th Birthday as well. The staff were absolutely amazing and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and please pass on my compliments to the lad with Blonde hair as well, just really making sure we were all looked after. Thank you all of you guys. Loved the atmosphere as well and had a brilliant time. Love to come here again soon.

We had a really good time at sixes Manchester watching the T20 World Cup semi final. Food was okay but Niall the bartender and server was Absolutley fantastic. His service was top tier and Absolutley made our night. Would recommend to anyone albeit not much value for money on food

Good as part of a stag do lime we did on the Saturday. Great fun for all involved as an improvement potentially to create a proper package deal for all as was abit steep to add food and pints on top of this

Good family experience but 45 minutes flies by. Groups of adults would enjoy Flight Club more but this is something a little different.

I don’t normally do this but I thought I better leave this review for all to see! Myself, my wife and my son went for some lunch on Saturday 17th February, whilst tucking into our food a fury friend came out the kitchen and went pass our table and then back to the kitchen, the staff saw it and ran to the other side of the restaurant! When my wife went to tell them we got no apology or anything! We quickly stopped eating and left straight away! I understand mice can get in but surely this is exposing something seriously wrong with the pest control in this restaurant!

Estuve con unos amigos jugando al criquet y el ambiente es muy bueno. Pedimos unas cervezas y algo para picar y estaba todo muy bueno. El personal muy amable. Muy buena opción.
