Was a superb restaurant, I met Anto before he opened , he was in Liverpool looking for a location and found Rodney st .. unfortunately it has had to close , not sure why , it's a shame , I hope they sort out the staff if wages are owed, sad to see a nice place close times are difficult..much bigger restaurants than this have closed there doors. Hope the staff find jobs , Anton I hope you are ok , it's a tuff time ,

Had a fantastic time learning and try so many amazing gins. Akiel was so informative and was such a great host. Really loved learning about the different gins and trying all the amazing flavoured liverpool gins made on site. I took my mum for her birthday and she loved it so much. We were so well looked after by Akiel I can’t wait to go again. Already purchased a bottle of the liverpool Rose petal gin, my new favourite. The bar was so lovely too, after the gin tasting we sat and drank the mostly beautifully presented gin. I will be visiting again very soon.
It's right in front of the accommodation, so I stopped by for a beer. It's a very real local pub. There's no food (small snacks?). You just order beer in front of the bar and get it. (Prepaid) And there's a really cute hot dog dachshund.

Steve's is situated on quite a busy road, with limited parking on the streets nearby. Upon entering the shop, it was very clean, tidy, spacious, and well-designed. The staff were pleasant, particularly the lovely lady who served us—she was friendly, smiling, and helpful.
The menu is extensive, featuring Greek dishes, kebabs, burgers, chicken, Chinese meals, and, of course, classic chip shop fare. Unfortunately, I found the food mostly underwhelming. The haddock was actually quite tasty and a decent size, though the batter was not very nice—thick in places, with a wetness on the inside and holding onto the palm oil on the outside.
The chips, which had a nice flavour, were again retaining too much oil, as were the potato scallops. The tahini sauce was delicious and had a nice consistency, while the curry sauce had a pleasant little kick to it. However, the mushroom and onion gravy contained very little in the way of mushrooms or onions.
The in-house fish cake was thick with a subtle flavour, mostly of potato, but it was fine. The mushy peas seemed like a mixture of quite mushy peas and undercooked ones, but the flavour was nice.
