It pains me to write a bad review for the place. I’ve been coming to this hotel for many years with my wife. Every time, we’ve stayed in the superior dockside corner suite. It is the best room besides the presidential suite. There’s a sudden service charge on breakfast. It never used to exist. If you get breakfast direct to your room you’re paying a £5 tray fee, which is understandable, that’s always been there as it’s room service. Now the Hotel have started to stick 10% of that price on too. £18 per person + £5 tray + 10%. You’re having a laugh!! It’s not about the money it’s the principle. Can the good people of the Titanic Hotel explain why are they charging 10% on the tray fee too if you’re not just trying to squeeze more out of the customers? Can the good people of the Titanic Hotel explain why this service fee isn’t printed anywhere on the breakfast menu? The tray fee is in bold plain words £5 tray fee but nothing about the service charge not even in small print. Upon check-out i queried this and they said take it up with the manager of the restaurant and dismissed me and passed the book. I already tried talking to the restaurant whom were very difficult to speak with the day previously; and this is my point. There should not be an opt out only option on service charges and speaking to people who don’t understand plain words is difficult at best. The hotel is expensive as it is, and I’m happy, more than happy with the price of the hotel and commodities; but hiding charges, not informing guests before and sneaking charges onto the bill is just not right. All service charges ought to be clearly stated for customers to see before purchasing anything and adding it initially then expecting the customer to ask for it to be removed is despicable. That is below the standard we had grown to expect from The Titanic Hotel. Absolute disgrace

I visited the Titanic Hotel on Friday evening with a few friends for some cocktails and mocktails, and we had an exceptional experience. Tom, the bartender, greeted us with such warmth and attentiveness. He took the time to listen to everyone's individual tastes and crafted the most delicious drinks. As a non-drinker and vegan, I was especially impressed that he was able to create a mocktail using non-alcoholic spirits, even adding a delightful foam to match the cocktails my friends were enjoying. It was a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. We will certainly be returning. A big thank you to Tom for ensuring we had a fantastic start to our night!

We've stayed here a couple of times now and although it was still an excellent experience we did feel that this stay wasn't as good On arrival we were in a queue of 5 others waiting to check in with only 1 person on the desk, we did comment on this when we were finally at the front and were told its difficult to time breaks which i can understand however the whole time we waited the concierge simple strolled about the entrance area giving large open mouthed yawns the entire time ..... could he not of helped out? On checking in we were advised we had been given a free upgrade (i think everyone is told the same) however we were in a lovely room but the bathroom was much smaller than previous stays in the same room type. Rooms overall are stunning however the cushions on the window seats shod be cleaned on a more regular basis as the was mould, dead insects & food crumbs that had fallen down the side in our room The evening meal was just OK. My other half had the burger and said it was very dry & the skin on fry's were so dry they were crunchy sticks also the restaurant was so dark we used the torch on our phones to enable us to read the menu and I had to swap seats part way through due to the lack of padding in the collapsed seat pads which was causing my back to hurt

Overall, the experience was very pleasant, with some standout positives and a few significant drawbacks. The staff and the overall atmosphere of the place were absolutely fantastic—truly top-notch. However, the breakfast was a major letdown. At £45, it was barely warm and tasted awful, definitely not worth the money. We stayed in a superior room, which was beautifully appointed, with a lovely bathroom, but the bed was a disappointment—two singles pushed together, which was frustrating. The highs were high, but the lows were hard to ignore.

Truly a wonderful hotel lovingly restored in an old Stanley dock warehouse, the old Tobacco warehouse is being converted into an apartment block, worth a visit if you can. The staff is made up of both locals and students from Liverpools universities, they are attentive, polite and always helpful, the concierge here are excellent and will go out of their way to help you, the uniform of denim and shirt with a Victorian era waistcoat is both welcome and aesthetically appealing. Rooms are very large and welcoming with large comfortable beds, the air con can be a little hot or miss especially when it’s very hot (Accrington stock bricks) the bathrooms are large and have both bathtub and showers (showers only in accessible rooms) The restaurant and 2 bars are fabulous with a wide selection of cocktails, beers and largest Rum and Gun selections I’ve ever seen! The menu is quite restrictive and if you’re on a package with dinner included don’t try to ask for substitutes as our waitress point blank refused to even ask the chef as my wife couldn’t eat any of the starters. That was rather disappointing but not unexpected! Overall you simply can’t go wrong at the Titanic Hotel bc Liverpool

Service charge of £4 on a self service breakfast buffet! Madness, me and my partner went for breakfast and we were told it was £39.60 for two people, I paid £40 cash and then without mentioning my change she walked us over to our table. Still waiting for my change i looked at the menu to read that breakfast is £18 so I should only have been charge £36, I double checked online and it too said £18. I went over to the lady that took our payment and mentioned this and was told that the extra £3.60 was a service charge to which I replied "for what service? I served myself" and then she said "ill go and get your change" and then got another lady to bring it over. You cannot charge a 10% service charge on a self service breakfast buffet, are you mad? Common areas were nice, aesthetically. The lifts are a nightmare, we got in one on the 4th floor and a man and his wife were already in it, visibly angry and told us they were staying on the 1st floor and just wanted to get to the lobby but had been up and down 3 times. You have to get your room key out everytime you want to use the lift which is just needless. For a 'luxury' hotel the decor is not that. I am a Professional Decorator and I can tell you with confidence the painting was botched, there is filler all over the bedframe, fancy plug sockets have had Stanley knifes scraped all over them when the feature walls have been papered, there was paint on the worktops next to the sinks and the towel rails still had paint covered masking tape around them and all walls were streaky 🤣. You find better finishes in an easy hotel. This was not done by professional decorators and if it was they should hang up there brushes. Car park adjacent didn't recognise my number plate on departure, so I had to walk back to the hotel and stand in a queue for 10 minutes to speak to a member of staff. It was sorted and the lady was helpful, however this was just a massive inconvenience and shouldn't be happening at an expensive hotel. Will not be staying here again.

Love the place, been staying there for years, since it opened and referred many friends there, was always welcomed by Johnny or Davy at the door, so friendly and helpful in every way, Johnny alone made that hotel experience 5 stars. Recently we advised some American friends to stay there in the expensive rooms and upon arrival, we introduced them to Johnny, they said Johnny made their stay at that hotel a 5 star experience, well they fired Jonny for being too friendly, what does that even mean, i won’t stay there anymore now he is gone. i and all the friends i refer there spend about £10k a year in that place, no more, bring Johnny back

Special mention to Tina and Adele in the spa for the wonderful treatments. Stephen in the restaurant was outstanding! Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We've been the titanic Hotel a number of times now. I tried a number of the rooms and they were all lovely and spacious, the staff have been extremely helpful. But on this last occasion, I felt let down. We were told we were told we had been upgraded but found ourselves in a smaller room, and there was a generator or something similar outside near our window, and it was running all night. The window to our room didn't close properly, so the sound was entering our room all night, keeping me awake. Breakfast was nice, lots to choose from, staff polite and helpful, rooms clean.

I recently visited the Titanic Hotel to attend a conference and was impressed by many aspects of the property. The ambience was excellent, the location is convenient, and the hotel was impeccably clean. The food was also very good, which added to the overall experience. However, my stay was slightly overshadowed by the reception staff's attitude. Unfortunately, they came across as rude and unhelpful, particularly when I asked for directions. A little politeness or even a simple smile can make a huge difference, and I was disappointed that this was lacking. Overall, the hotel itself is fantastic, but I hope management can work on improving the reception staff's approach to guest interactions. It would elevate the experience to match the otherwise high standards of the hotel.

Room was as normal clean and tidy, good but noticeable 2 beds pushed together. The staff persistent on bringing drinks over to table when I was agreeable to wait patiently at bar and took an age to bring over as waiting to staff to serve. I found staff abrupt and persistent on this and made night awkward. In stead of relaxed became long wait to get drink ordered 30 mins ago. Also meals for both myself not as good as previous times visited . Meal ordered on night the Grilled chicken was dry my partner order was wrong and then not cooked manner requuested. The hotel isn't cheap a night was 255 for more than a few issues. .

There are so many bland chain hotels around, but if you want something different, I can recommend the Titanic. The building and the rooms are fascinating (especially if you're interested in maritime history), and if you don't mind being a short taxi ride from town, the location is too. Kind of still gritty and commercial but with the Tobacco Dock being done up, no doubt about to transform. We were there for a wedding, and the hotel staff were charming and helpful from reception to the bartenders and the waiting staff at the event and at breakfast. Top marks. We paid an extra £18pp for breakfast. The coffee could have been better but there was a good selection.

The rooms were huge, but poorly laid out - TV was so far away from the uncomfortable sofa that it was impossible to watch (even if you could sit on the brick of a sofa long enough!). Large but dark (I know they have small windows due to original use) with a poor choice of wall colour. Beautiful vaulted brick ceilings would have been set off with white rather than dark grey walls. Attention to detail lacking. One awful daylight spotlight in the dressing area. Curtains not tacked to the end of the curtain pole. Broken window. Sticky back plastic type coating on coffee tables. I stayed at the hotel from the 15th to the 17th of July. The hairdryer was broken. When I went down to the reception and asked to pick up a new one after breakfast, the answer was, "I don’t know where housekeeping is, so I might not be able to fix that." I forgot my purse with my passport in it at breakfast on the 16th. I realized it when I came back in the afternoon at 5 PM and asked for it at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It wasn’t there. I had to cancel my dinner plans and spent the whole evening trying to figure out how to get back to Sweden without a passport. I also needed to report it stolen. When checking out the next morning, a happy guy at the reception informed me, "Someone found your purse yesterday morning; here you are." THEY HAD IT THE WHOLE TIME BUT DIDN'T TRY TO INFORM ME AND EVEN TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. Conclusion: The hotel is really cool, but unless you are a famous footballer, don’t expect any service. It is more like a hostel.

The hotel and views are really great. For me, the big down side is spa access. Be aware that hotel guests do not get preferential access to the spa. You should try book ahead (which they don’t tell you). And it’s often very busy with others just coming to use the spa and not staying at the hotel which can affect how relaxing your spa experience will be, given it’s a fairly small space. If you don’t care about the spa at all, this is a fantastic hotel the rooms are great and the views are fantastic. If the spa is a selling point plan ahead and be prepared.

Review for the spa: Beautiful atmosphere and the exposed brick underground tunnels give a wonderful setting. Good amount of services Masseuse was good but distracted on her phone during my therapies. Not enough lounge beds

I have worked here as Hadwin Events with my photobooth The Rum Warehouse function room is beautiful, it is modern whilst highlighting the original features. They have a lot of space and can accommodate large parties. Ground floor and plenty of parking , outside of the city center so not too busy I have used their Maya Blue Spa a few times, it is lovely and a great spa near to the city center. Again tying in original features with a modern, clean look I've also had afternoon tea in their restaurant/bar area which is a large and bright space Hope to work there again soon

This Hotel was very impressive, got a free upgrade on our room for no reason but we weren't complaining. The room was very spacious, clean and decorated well, the bed was extremely comfortable, bedding was so soft. Breakfast was busy, but the service was very good, food was tasty with a good variety. It is £9 to park on site for 24hrs which isn't bad for liverpool but the next side street to the hotel is free and it's a 20 sec walk, I'd look at the side street first. The area is up and coming, with the new Everton stadium opposite it. The hotel is a good distance to the centre of Liverpool but Uber/Taxi are easy to get and cheap, it is walkable but not in heels.

Superior room was huge, king size bed, sofa, chair, coffee table, chaise lounge, desk and chair, sideboard with tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge and safe. Bed was comfy and room has ac. Bathroom was bigger than the whole room in a budget hotel, toilet, twin sinks, bath and separate double shower were all great. Titanic theme throughout looked great and decor was a very high standard, ask them to show you their replica of the Titanic staircase from the film. Bar is very well stocked with wine, beers and spirits, restaurant food was great, all staff were super polite, friendly and efficient. I can not fault this place in any way, sure breakfast is nearly 20 pounds, but it's got everything you want, other meals are fair prices for the standard of the place.

Our two rooms were massive and spacious. Complimentary white wine bottle in each room. Clean. Well-presented rooms Comfortable beds. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great, wide choice. Just.a bit of a wait for tea and coffee to be served, may have been better (during busier time of breakfast -service) to give pots of tea/coffee per table. Location great, not far from the Strand.

Overall the best hotel we've stayed in within the UK. We stayed here May 5th 2024. Have to say our first and lasting impression was how very friendly the staff were. They couldn't do enough for us. In particular two of the Concierges', Dodi & Johnathan, both were highly efficient, courteous and made the difference to our stay. They clearly enjoy their job. The room, and hotel were immaculately clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The entire hotels decor was modern and impressive. We had room service, the food was tasty and the portion sizes were generous. For breakfast there is a huge variety of food, from yoghurt with compote, cereals, pastries, full cooked, fruit and cold meats, there was even a chef to cook you an individual omelette. We've stayed in many different hotels, and I must say we just couldn't find single negative about the Titanic Hotel, we will 100% be staying here again. Thank you and we look forward to our next visit.

I visited the spa at this hotel for a birthday treat, I did not stay in the hotel. The facilities: the saunas, pool, and relaxation area, were impressive and contributed to a generally pleasant experience. However, the massage session was very disappointing. It seemed to consist only of light skin rubbing, which I could easily do myself. When I requested more pressure, the masseuse informed me that the type of massage I had booked did not include it, although I was never asked about my preferences at the outset. Additionally, the masseuse, a young blonde woman, frequently paused the session to wash her hands (in the sink that was in a massage room), which disrupted the continuity and relaxation of the experience. Considering the cost of £80, the lack of interaction did not meet the professional standards I’ve encountered elsewhere in my travels.

Wonderful hotel in an upcoming area, just not come up yet, hence a bit of a cultural wasteland outside hotel walls. However, most of Liverpool is a short Uber ride away.

Outstanding breakfast this morning, had the poached eggs on Sourdough Toast with a side of smoked salmon. Americano was delicious. Great prompt service, would definitely go back!!
