Ohannes Burger in Liverpool

Been to Ohannes many times now and never once could I complain about the food or the service. Staff always friendly and food always delicious! My go to is the Ohannes star deal.. your choice of burger seasoned chips and the famous aloi sauce 3 chicken bites and a drink for 12£ it’s a steal! Location right next to Liverpool central station is also very convenient for grab and go but eating in Is also nice always nice choice of music and welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone, restraunt quality food for fraction of the price, if I could give this place 6/5 I would.

Went there yesterday around 5pm, no one at the counter, guy yapping in the back on the phone, waited for a bit, given up and left. Don't bother

Of the cons: For some reason, the door is constantly open, but it is very cold. Service is a little better than in the dining room. I went in asking for buttermilk chicken and truffle Fries, I then got told that the chicken came with fries j asked if I could just have that meal but with truffle fries and I would pay extra, I then payed 10.70 to what I thought was going to be truffle fries with 5 chicken bites, and I got home and opened my food I seen that I had 4 chicken bites and 2 lots of chips…. Either of them remotely truffle which is what I asked for

The only thing you need to know is that the burgers are totally worth it.

Pedí bocados de pollo y chips de trufa, me dijeron “los bocados de pollo vienen con chips” A lo que le pregunté “¿está bien si los convierto en la trufa una arena pagar el extra” , el hombre dijo que no por lo que me cobraron el precio completo por el pollo y las patatas fritas con patatas fritas de trufa en el lado que realmente no entendía pero simplemente lo pagué porque eso era lo que quería y no sabía cómo más ordenarlo Así que abrí mi comida cuando llegué a casa para ver que tenía pollos con papas fritas, y luego esperando papas fritas de trufa que tenía papas fritas? Así que terminé con 5 pequeños trozos de pollo mediocres con patatas fritas y otra porción completa de patatas fritas cuando quería eran patatas fritas de trufa con trozos de pollo abajo No entiendo por qué tuve que pagar por las papas fritas de trufa por separado cuando podrían haberme cobrado extra por tener problemas con las papas fritas (que no recibí) , y mosto por papas fritas en su lugar No estoy feliz de haber pagado extra por papas fritas de trufa y no tenían ninguna trufa en ellos

Visité este lugar ayer para comprar un par de hamburguesas. Hija comió hamburguesa de pollo y yo carne de res. Honestamente, la mejor hamburguesa con papas fritas que he probado! Elaborado con ingredientes frescos, de calidad, sabor fabuloso y bien envasado. Sin duda recomendaría comprar desde aquí.

Small place, delicious burgers, and really nice staff. I recommend it and will be back.

The burger was decent. Nothing too exciting. Only one thing that I didn’t like is: the burger petty was too dry. It was not juicy and succulent. So, tastewise, it was not that great. However, the sauce on the petty made it better and less bland. Bottomline: should I visit again? Maybe not.

Walked past this a few times and never gone in until today, can tell you now, the burgers are as good as they look in the photos 10-10 will be back definitely worth a visit

Decent, flame grilled burgers little different to usual smash burgers everywhere nowadays

First time eating in Liverpools and the burgers were really nice. Chips too nicely spiced with peri peri. The mexi burger tasted amazing. And it had flavour to it. I wish the beef was slightly more juicy. 9/10 The garlic dips certainly go well with the chips. Second time, when i left Liverpool, i went there in a rush as there were 20 minutes until my train was leaving. So i asked if she can cook me two burgers in 10 minutes. She said yes. I ordered peri peri chicken burger and a BBQ burger. The chicken burger was amazing 10/10. Great flavours and tender chicken. But again the beef felt a little bit dry even more than the first time i had the mexi burger, and it didn't have much flavour to it apart from the BBQ sauce and fried onion i couldn't feel much. I would say the BBQ burger its a 8/10. First time having pretzel buns. Those were amazing. Toasted really well and soft.

Went at around 1am, ordered a chicken sandwich and it was good and fresh. The fries were really good too.

Maysam was great , and whoever was cooking the burgers did a fantastic job . The atmosphere is also really cozy . Will be back again !

I asked for no salad on the chicken burger and it came with onions leading this person not able to eat it and had to have mine redone aswell whilst I’m the shop. I am disappointed with the collection I had today.

I recently visited Ohannes Burger and found it to be a very busy place, with just two people running the kitchen. Despite the rush, they managed to prepare freshly made burgers, which was impressive. We ordered quite a few items from the menu to try them out. The chicken and beef burgers were top-notch, bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. However, the halloumi burger was really dry, which was a bit disappointing. The interior is classy and adds to the overall positive experience. Overall, Ohannes Burger is a great spot for delicious chicken and beef burgers, though the halloumi burger could use some improvement.

The burger place is situated very nicely next to Liverpool Central train station and right next door to the buzzy night life of Liverpool. Price and quality is good. The staff moves fast but in busy weekends they do a lot of delivery orders so might have to wait a little longer then on a week day.

It was incredibly delicious. We had cheeseburgers with my friends and the burger was so juicy and delicious. You could totally tell the beef was flame grilled. Exactly like the pictures online.

Great burgers, I wouldn't define them gourmet, great atmosphere, homemade sauces, one only thing I can say of cons, everytime I eat in this place, you can smell a lot of burned, this is due to their air extractor not working as it should or not enough for the amount of smoke produced whole cooking the food, if possible I would recommend fixing it as this has been like this for years. Other than that highly recommend the food 😊

It's one of the best burgers I've ever had. Always fresh and full of flavour. The fries are amazing, too. Small place, just 4 or 5 tables inside and some outside. The only thing I dislike is that the door remains open, with a door stop preventing it from being closed, even if it is cold outside. But the food is great and the service is friendly. Recommended.

Found Ohanes when was out on a job, came back and instantly fell in love with it, one of best burgers in town, personally love pulled beef or chicken mania, all the burgers come with fries and garlic sauce so a great deal overall, service is okay and atmosphere is filled to the brim with great aroma overall a recomendation!

Everything was perfect, the waiter is very good people and it is not very expensive for being in the center of Liverpool. Very highly recommended

Amazing customer service, Hadil is the best staff member I’ve ever seen, I have a restaurant myself and I hope I’ll have a member of staff remembers customers order notes even after 6 weeks, I normally get my burger with caramelized onions on the side and the second I said cheese burger she remembered the not. I honestly couldn’t believe this could happen or a human being has such a good memory. Food is really good but customers service is from a different planet 😀😀

Visited last night and ordered the peri peri fries. There was no description on the menu but I like spice so went for it. When I was handed them, I asked what was on top as it looked like meat and I am vegetarian. The staff member reassured me it was fried onions and there was no meat. I took a bite and of course, it’s shredded chicken. All the staff member could really say is “ok well you know for next time” but I don’t think that’s good enough at all- you absolutely cannot lie to people about what is in your dishes! And your menu needs descriptions. This needs seriously remedying as it’s dangerous. Fortunately I’m vegetarian by choice, but a similar incident could send somebody into anaphylaxis if people are lying about ingredients. Also I paid £7 for this, how can I have my money back?

Honest opinion, Food was great, I know i eat my burgers with alot of salad to be honest i like the style ohannes have so it doest matter much to me. Abit luke warm but very tasty and late which i decided not to get too upset about as i seen how much it snowed today. So i dont really feel entirely bothered by being late as safetyof deliver is more important than my food. over all wonderfull, really. I am trying my best to do fair, unbiased review. and i hope i dont stur up much trouble over my slight dissatifaction.

The worst burgers we ever had. The food in general was not hot enough. The Bun was not toasted/grilled, it was cold & chewy, the burger was thick but tasteless & full of fat, bland and chewy. 1 slice of stale lettuce & they just slap 2 slice of cold cheese. The peri peri. Chicken burger, the chicken was so thin. Staff didn't come to our table to serve but pass over the food over our baby who was in the pram. I was concerned she would drop the plate on my baby. The chips was hard and cold, even it was seasoned it still didn't taste good. What a rip off Don't waste your money, go to Manchester to Mr Tee for a good burger instead.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Staff are nice and friendly. The chips were really nice, they used a special seasoning on them. I tried the spicy buttermilk burger which was nice, not spicy at all though, they just add a sauce instead of it being a proper spicy burger. I think generally the beef is better though.

Frozen burger patties fried on the griddle and teamed with good condiments and great pretzel buns. The seasoning on the chips was excellent, but they are fried well in advance and left to stay warm under a heat lamp for an extended period. Service was mid with zero warmth or personality.
