Subway - Hardman Street in Liverpool

Authentic delicious food. We really loved our meal here. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the beer is good too!

We visited Soulva on Thursday evening, we were staying at the Hope Street Hotel and passed it, the restaurant looked really cosy and inviting, so we popped in on the off chance of getting a table. The lady who greeted us was so lovely and polite and took us to our table. The whole vibe was really lovely, the ambiance, decor etc. We ordered tzatziki and halloumi to start the mixed meat and Greek salad.. the food was so good, and really reasonable for the cost of it, with wine and a pint, we couldn’t believe how cheap it was, you get a lot of tasty food for a really reasonable cost. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we got a complimentary brownie to finish off the evening. Would give this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and will be returning on our next visit to Liverpool.

We enjoyed a second visit to this amazing restaurant last night. The Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Food is Delicious! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and we all have something different from the menu. I have and will continue to recommend this little Jewel in The Hardman St crown of eateries. Mi hermano gemelo y yo vinimos a este punto de venta del metro, hemos estado aquí antes en muchas ocasiones, siempre tuvo una experiencia positiva y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Este metro es realmente bueno , interior es ordenado y ordenado, decoración y mobiliario típico del metro, mostradores de servicio con frente de vidrio muestran las golosinas que se ofrecen y hay un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este metro. Pedimos un sándwich submarino cada uno con un refresco, el sándwich fue preparado con ingredientes frescos frente a nosotros por el personal que realmente conoce su trabajo, agarramos una mesa donde comimos nuestros sándwiches que eran totalmente deliciosos y justo lo que necesitábamos para prepararnos para unas buenas horas. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestros sándwiches aquí antes de seguir adelante, no podía faltar nada sobre nuestra visita aquí. Este metro es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Hardman Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a viernes, abierto de 8 a.m. 30 am. Sábado y domingo, 9 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Waited a while for the food but was delicious once it arrived. Service was nice and the atmosphere was great. We got free brownies which was a nice touch at the end of the night I recommend.

Went here pre-theatre. Limited menu, mainly souvlaki (kebabs). Nothing very Greek. Chicken was dry, served on wooden! skewers, minimal flavouring. How do they cook these?? Pork giros tasty but very fatty. Chewy lamb and lamb chops too much fat. However, tahini, flatbreads, salad, rice all good and good portions. Service was quick. Poor pop music. No automatic service charge, thankfully.

There is Greek food made with fresh ingredients. It's a huge portion, so be sure to order as much as you can eat. The brownie that comes as dessert is also delicious. The staff is very pleasant and friendly!!😀

The bread was so fresh and rest of ingredients were very generous, overall delicious. Interior is also very boho and calm, I’d absolutely recommend for a quick bite. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I have been here twice now. Both times has been spot on. Food is always perfect and the staff are lovely. Water brought to the table on arrival, no charge. Where most other places charge for this. Atmosphere is always good and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Really lovely spot, nice & cosy, with lovely staff. Meals were delicious & portion sizes are generous & perfect for us, we even took a box to finish at home! (Two mid teens, 1 pre teen, 2 adults) The brownie treats were unexpected & went down a storm - we will definitely be back when in Liverpool 🌻

We love it here. When you first walk in you are greeted by the lovely front of house staff in beautiful light airy surroundings. The menu has a great selection and is so delicious. Great for kids as well. We have been here a few times and it is definitely one of our favourite place's to eat in Liverpool as a family, in a big group or just the 2 of us. Highly recommend!

Portions were too large Didn't need all the chips- didn't seem authentically Greek to me.

Have been a few times my wife has a few allergies. They always sort her out. Excellent food and service. Prices very reasonable.10 out of 10.

Visited last night 20/4/24 and the food was amazing I have tried Greek food before but this place was another level best I have eaten and the service was spot on absolutely no negatives will be visiting again soon

Came here last night. Food was excellent and great sized portions. First time we have been and all of the staff were lovely and attentive. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely come again.

Very friendly and welcoming little place. The starters were fantastic, houmus and courgette croquettes. Main course of veggie kebabs were nice. My husband had chicken schnitzel, a large portion, great value for money (maybe too much sauce laden on - a choice to add it yourself would be better). There was a lot of choice on the menu but I would have liked more vegetable options that didn't involve halloumi, didn't really feel like there was much of a choice if you didn't want to eat meat. I am not vegetarian but like to know where my meat comes from if I am eating out so I often choose vegetable based dishes. The staff and the atmosphere were the best thing about the place though, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with glasses and water, I think lots of other places could learn a lot from these little touches. Booked a family meal. Atmosphere was welcoming. Food was lovely with generous portion sizes, all fresh and tasty at a great price. If you are looking for somewhere tp eat in the city, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This was a great little find when we visited 26th January. The Fish Platter to share is recommended. Portion was just right, quality good, staff service excellent. Not too busy so it had a nice atmosphere inside, not rushed. Will be visiting again 👍

My twin brother and I were hitting some of the pubs around this part of the city when we decided to drop into this Subway and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. A good looking Subway outlet, housed in a great looking building, interior is light and airy, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's a nice place to unwind in . We ordered a long baguette each ,prepared with fresh ingredients in front of us ,we grabbed a table were we munched through our long baguette which was absolutely delicious, so tasty,so filling, it was just what we needed to set us up for a few hours. We really enjoyed our visit here before we moved on happy and full ,had a great time, can't wait to go again. This Subway is easy to locate along Hardman Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday,open 8.30am. Saturday & Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

What a lovely place, came across it by accident. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they managed to fit us in. The food was fantastic, came quickly, very tasty, large portions. We had the Haloumi Steak which came with a great slaw, pita bread and well prepared potatoe(mashed and chips respectively). Lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be returning

Visited on Sat for a staff Christmas meal. We had a friendly warm welcome, great food and prompt pleasant service. The place has a lovely authentic atmosphere and we all said we would definitely love to return again. The chocolate brownie was a lovely touch! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Very accommodating for a group of 6 on a Saturday evening! Needed to find a restaurant in the city centre of Liverpool that had veggie options, was affordable, yet stylish and not too overcrowded. I couldn't find any decent bookings anywhere within a 2 week time frame but Souvla had space. I also want to thank the staff for being accommodating when I needed to push the reservation back an hour (due to my friends being late). The restaurant was the perfect setting. Everything was so delicious and all my friends were so pleased with the choice!! Also the complimentary dessert is the best 😉

Nice enough, but I did not get what I ordered, I was in a large birthday group and was not paying the bill, so I felt it was not my place to complain and have to wait for food whilst all around me eat.

Ordered an £80 order for delivery. When food arrived it was cold and there missing items. Instead of suggesting they will redeliver the food with free extra items, they instead suggested next time we order we will give you free items. Why would order at somewhere where the food is cold and not all of it arrives. Really frustrating as we have never had any issues with the restaurant on Allerton Road, which is far better. AVOID!

Nice Greek restaurant. Interior is clean and cosy. Staff on Sunday were very friendly. We were a group of 12. Food came quick and was lovely. Really nice touch was the brownie treat at the end. Recommend to go and try 😊👍

I was there many times before on numbers of occasions when place was called Grilla. Unfortunately on Friday the 11/08 I was bitterly disappointed. The food served to me and family was not the best, with odd smell of last day of use leaving not pleasant aftertaste. Pork was chewy not cooked right and tonnes of spices did not cover this "taste" Brownie was spot on…. But I will not come back anytime soon

We visited yesterday and enjoyed the Calamari and the meat platter, which was delicious and included pork and chicken souvlaki, gyros and lamb chops. The service was fantastic and the waitress very attentive.. Would highly recommend can't wait to return!

Used to love this place, but it’s gone massively down hill. Spoke to the rudest woman in the world when our order didn’t turn up - will never be going back. Loads of Greek places in town that are just as nice if not better

Dined here on Saturday as our original booking elsewhere had been cancelled. They graciously accepted our last minute booking for 4 people and even gave us the option of where we would like to sit. The food was absolutely amazing and you could tell that the chef(s) had taken care with our meals and had not rushed to get the order out as quick as possible. I had the mixed meats platter for one and shared halloumi fries with my partner, highly recommend for any fellow meat lovers. After finishing our meal, one of the waitress' brought us out a brownie each and said they were on the house! All three of the waitresses were extremely friendly and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything. I will definitelly be returning on my next stay in Liverpool!

Chose from the early doors menu. Food superb, - fresh, tasty, and plentiful. I couldn't finish my meal because there was so much lovely food, so was offered a takeaway box, to collect after my visit to the theatre. Service excellent. Thank you.

Fantastic food last night, the wife and I shared the meat platter and got some pitta and hummus on the side. Absolutely delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection not dry, but juicy and flavourful and a load of extra dips too with a fantastic tzatziki and the the coleslaw was great too. Plus to complimentary free brownies was an added touch. We tried to call and book but no one answered, as there’s no booking option on the website, I’d recommend you try and install that please, you deserve more guests with the quality of that food as it maybe off putting to customers who like to book. Maybe a little chilli sauce dip too please as I like a bit of heat, but now I’m just being picky lol! Honestly the food was amazing and prices were reasonable too. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Absolutely beautiful service from start to finish, we came from Manchester to Liverpool especially for this restaurant, and did not fault our expectations. Came in with a two month old baby, and baby has not been crying at all while in there, due to the peaceful environment. Food absolutely delicious, tender meats, perfectly seasoned, we also had fresh king prawns , and calamari, both cooked to perfection, also the best hummus we ever had 🥰. They have food to cater for everyone ( vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian and meat lovers) Reasonable pricess too. Very attentive staff, came to check over if food and everything was ok, did not have to wait too long for the food or drinks. also we were welcomed with a beautiful smile , which made us feel comfortable. Inside the restaurant is a home-like atmosphere , dimmed lights, candles, and relaxing music. It is truly a hidden gem. We will definatley return soon .

My girlfriend and I went for lunch on Easter Sunday. The shop had a very nice atmosphere with a special menu for the occasion as well as Greek songs. Excellent food and quick service. Thank you very much and well done.

Lovely little Greeks, our first time after it being recommended to my daughter. My daughter and I had the sharing platter of various kebabs, spicy sausages, coleslaw, tsatiki dip and chips, which was my massive and very tasty 😋. My partner had the Gyros. Good value for money with mid week offers. Lovely cocktail, and house Grilla lager and free chocolate brownies with cream for dessert!

Excellent service, food and value last night. We had a 3 skewer chicken souvlaki and a mixed grilla for 1, both were cooked and seasoned well. I just added salt and vinegar to my mountain of chips. I love the decor/feel in Grilla Hardman Street it adds to the atmosphere and makes a visit about more than just the food.

Absolutely GORGEOUS and incredible meal. I could not finish this at all and the staff was really accommodating and gave me a take away box. We arrived as we booked a table.6pm seemed that they could not find our booking.ordered starters and main.waited quite a while.tgen they bring out our main.i said to girl we haven't had our starters.so she took it back.waited again then starters came out and then they asked do we want our mains as well.i said no.finished starters then mains came out.my chicken was only luke warm.fries dry Seems it was my main from earlier on.Wgen girl collected plates.mine was bearly touched she asked me how it was.i told her and all she said was sorry and walked away.not a nice experience. Heard so many nice things.but felt let down
