The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

Just had afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and the staff were outstanding. The dining room was warm and cosy. Altogether a memorable anniversary treat.

Uncomfortable bed, poor pillows that were extremely lumpy, breakfast wasn’t very nice (sausages were tasteless and the bacon was fatty) and the staff weren’t very attentive. Location was good. Not what I expected based on other reviews. We’ll not be going back.

Wonderful, home cooked, food. Full of flavour and perfectly made all at very reasonable prices. Set in the church in the grounds of the beautiful Porchester Castle. Very friendly staff who go that extra mile to make our experience even better.

We went for bottomless brunch and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever been to! Bottomless drinks and pizza / garlic bread were delicious, there was a DJ as well which created a great atmosphere! Amy was looking after our table and she was amazing. There was a point where we had to wait a little while for drinks, but Amy made sure we were well looked after! Would definitely recommend booking a bottomless brunch! Thank you Amy! ❤️

We used to visit this delightful busy buzzy place a lot but sadly we have given it a miss lately. I passed today and it was really quiet which was unusual for a Saturday morning and I wondered whether others felt the same as us. The plastic sides to the awning make you feel as if you're sitting in a damp tent. Why are these necessary? It was so much more pleasant to be out in the air. You do have the added benefit of a retractable roof. No one likes to feel claustrophobic. We miss our visits. Please give this some thought.

My husband, brother and had a lovely lunch today. Fresh tasty food, lovely service and a relaxing setting to enjoy socialising and catching up. I had the three small plate options and they were delicious and very filling. Brother had three different small plates and husband had the chef special salmon linguine which he really enjoyed. We each had a dessert too because the menu was just so tempting. We appreciated a complimentary bread and dips whilst we waited for our food and that was yummy too, another nod to the lovely customer service. We had a lovely time and every member of staff we came across, including the chef, was polite, happy and welcoming. We noticed the lovely beer garden on the way out so will definitely be back with friends to enjoy the warmer weather soon.

Really lovely cafe with incredibly friendly staff and great service. They are very dog-friendly too. Only stopped in for a quick bite but we were really impressed by how welcoming they were. Our lunch was also very tasty.

Started off on a lovely dog walk to get to Nets cafe, popped our heads around the door to ask if we can bring the dog in….. we were screamed at that dogs were not allowed!! Such rudeness made us quite upset! We couldn’t wait to leave and didn’t give them the satisfaction or our money. They need to be more polite! I understand that’s dogs aren’t welcome everywhere but these days there are not many place. that don’t!

Just wanted to say how excellent the staff was on Friday night. The food was great and hot. All the staff was attentive and very good value and quality of food excellent. Thank you will be back. Alice & family

Popped in to this lovely little restaurant for a take away whilst on holiday in Cheshire. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. We would have eaten in, as it looked like a really traditional restaurant but with 4 dogs in tow we opted to take out. We would highly recommend a visit to this lovely little village and its great Indian restaurant.

Lovely staff great coffee, great food, I had the breakfast wrap, plenty of filling and really tasty, no grease, first time Visiting, will definitely be back

Frangipane fan here! I’ve extolled the virtues of Bolete’s croissants 🥐 elsewhere. There’s no need for repetition here. The reason for my latest post is to let the reader know that todays experience just demonstrates the consistency with which excellence is achieved! So good 😋

Food was excellent, service great, the restaurant is immaculate and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful in helping pick from the extensive menu.
