Morning Noon Night in Cheshire West and Chester

When this cafe first opened it was excellent, however in the last six months the standard of food & service has declined significantly! The are plenty of cafes in Neston to choose from so l won’t be visiting The Blue Bicycle again!

Popped in for lunch, had a pot of tea for one and you get a good two cups from.... I had the tuna mayo sandwich, normally comes with melon, cus cus and balsamic dressing, I opted out of those. Everywhere very clean and so quirky from bicycle in window to crystal chandelier.... Great place to people watch too... Does get busy and you can book ahead. Lovely garden seating area too. Service is so friendly and nothing too much trouble... Dog friendly downstairs and outside area.. Cake selection amazing...

Just discovered this gorgeous place. Food is amazing. Love the menu. We had Goats Cheese Omelettes and Tuna Sandwiches and they were delicious. The side salad was beautiful- so fresh and lots of flavours. The cakes all looked amazing too. Staff were so friendly- service impeccable. We will be back- worth the drive from where we live. Highly reccomend- thank you x

Ordered chicken and bacon ceasar salad, desc little gem lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, bacon and ceasar sauce. Thought it strange to have tomato but luckily my mum loves tomatoes so knew could palm them off. Salad arrives, three leaves of little gem and the rest is lettuce like the bags you get that are described as crunchy and sweet in supermarket and yes the grated carrot was in the salad as well as onion, cucumber, melon and the tomatoes. Food not as described and was disappointed especially with the fact the desc on menu was completely incorrect for allergen information

So I was initially very lucky to get a table just before the lunch rush. Although some positive and negatives combined. Initially lovely staff, our waitress was nice and talkative, very friendly. My friend had a tuna and cheese Panini and I had a 'Feta, black olives & melon saladOn a bed of mixed leaves with a balsamic dressing – add Parma ham' As described on the menu and I added the Parma ham for £2.25 I think it was. So I paid extra for the Parma ham. However my salad didn't come with the melon as described. When I politely mentioned it when paying I got a rather rude response back explaining I had the Parma ham so there is no melon. How is that right?! I specifically ordered an item as per menu and it's altered without any notification. And they claimed because I paid for an extra item that's optional then i loose one of the basic ingredients?! I was then told if I wanted the melon I could have requested it. .. that's like telling my friend if she wanted tuna in her tuna Panini she needs to request it. That aside.. the salad was nice. Panini as standard , friend enjoyed it highly (side salad included melon 😂) . Whilst very quaint and lovely atmosphere and menu... I suggest staff and chef revise or learn their menu.

Love this place - so traditional tea shop - proper pots pf tea. Went with sister for lunch mid week - gets busy and you can book ahead, saucers on table indicate their is a booking for that particular table and at what time. We only wanted a lighter lunch and they are so accommodating and let you share a sandwich - still comes with a lovely fresh side salad too and a slice of melon ( as some places won't let you do spilt a sandwich around lunch times) We shared a slice of their homemade Victoria sponge - delicious and so worth a try. Great quirky décor and beautiful outside eating area at rear of shop. Staff so friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. The front window always ahs the most amazing themed display - be it Remembrance Day - Halloween - Christmas etc.

We love it here and go at least once a month. The food is delicious and the service is excellent as always. Couldn’t fault it.

Stopped for a quick lunch, had a lovely fresh Tuna and Mayo sandwich which is served with a slice of melon and side salad, service always with a smile and they serve coffee with soya milk too. Always a Fabulous window display and they do go the extra mile. Outside seating area accessed via pathway at side of the church. Dogs allowed on ground floor and outside area.

Nice breakfast but only 1 bacon sausage and hash brown with poached egg and tomatoes and toast. Way over priced. Other half didn't have beans as doesn't like them but no extra anything. Nice place, good quality staff but been to others and had just as good but lot lower price.

I’ve been here a few times now, for coffee and cake mainly. The atmosphere is lovely with a spacious upstairs area as well. The decor is fab, staff are friendly and I’m so happy to see so many gluten free options available for me. I enjoyed my GF scone, thank you! I will return.

Good service good food. Hot Chocolate is good when sitting in. We have been here for breakfast before it’s a good breakfast. Take out hot chocolate could be better. This is a good place to go with friends, family, it’s a great place. We will be visiting more as my parents have just moved into the area thanks

Had a lovely breakfast here this morning, very Covid aware and pro active with track and trace, staff courteously requesting customers to wear masks 😷. Food excellent and will definitely be returning.

I’ve been to the BB many times! The staff are so lovely and attentive, and any requested changes to my order are never a problem! (No bread, extra egg!) Everything is always hot and fresh and well presented.

My first time out eating in a restaurant this year I felt safe while enjoying the gorgeous food.Staff are nice and friendly the place is so clean. I would highly recommend the breakfast too.

Went for lunch with my mum. We hadn’t booked a table, but I would recommend booking as I think we had the last non reserved table. The food was delicious and they were happy to cater for myself being dairy free. The steak sandwich was huge and my mum said it was amazing, my chicken and bacon wrap was excellent. The waitress was so friendly and service was quick.

Wonderful new outside beer/dining area is a great addition to a fabulous place. The food is really, really high quality, enjoyed every bite. Lovely friendly, attentive staff and always a warm welcome. Will be back many times. Highly recommend.

Had brunch here soon after they reopened....COVID 19 hygiene rules were excellent so we felt very relaxed. Food was lovely and staff friendly and helpful. Friends came to visit a few days later and I didn’t hesitate in returning with them. Once again food excellent and service second to none....wish all cafes followed this example!!! Took visintg family for lunch. Sat outside in the courtyard. Lunch was fabulous and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Whether with friends, family or for peace and quiet alone this is a lovely place to visit. Super food and drinks whatever time of day served by the nicest staff anywhere. Try it!

What a classy, well run business. You feel relaxed and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the cafe. It is a very stylish decor but had the feeling of a traditional service cafe/restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

This cafe is brilliant. New owners of what was Morning, Noon, Night have got it right. I reviewed MNN previously but it was incorrectly associated with the new business. Food brilliant. Coffee great and staff so good and friendly. Sophie & her Dad are great hosts. Extra seating upstairs.

Meet up with some friends. Sat upstairs. The serving staff were really pleasant and attentive. We gave our orders and within 10 minutes they were on the table. The food is very tasty. Would highly recommend a visit.

Yesterday afternoon, my son had booked for my husband and I to have a birthday afternoon tea at this handy cafe in the centre of Neston. We were delighted with what we were offered. The traditional 3-tier cake stand was served with dainty and very appetising finger sandwiches in 3 varieties, cherry and sultana scones and 3 different types of cake. The service was friendly and efficient and we had tea made with loose tea. I would have preferred one large teapot for 2 rather than individual ones, but that is just a niggle. The only other thing that might be improved is having tea in proper china cups rather than the wide coffee cups provided - the tea gets cold very quickly in these wide cups. I offer this not as a moaning minnie, but just a hopefully helpful suggestion. As the tea was a gift for my birthday, I have no idea if it was good value or not, but we would certainly return to this cafe. In fact I had lunch here before Christmas and can recommend the fish pie, which was absolutely delicious, and the vegetables served with it were perfectly cooked. The meal then, with a glass of wine, a cake for dessert and tea amounted to £20.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Neston with a relaxed, cozy, rustic interior. Perfect for meeting up with family, friends and business partners. The coffee is great, accompanied with talented latte art, a delicious biscuit, and friendly, helpful staff. The staff are very accommodating and polite. The food is phenomenal, cooked to order, fresh and tasty, and served with a lovely side salad. Fantastic value for money and I will be returning again very soon! Thank you.

Really good coffee served and always a delicious buttery mini shortbread to accompany :) Please make normal-sized shortbread cookies for sale, far better than the cake!

I ordered soup because veggie options are limited. It was very nice, but supposed to be served with crusty white bread which turned out to be half a burger bun.

The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed my visit. Unfortunately it was a popular place so our seats were at the back of the teashop. I would put a tasteful mural on the side of the counter to look at as it felt a little dark and we couldnt really see out of the window so a pretend view would have added to the relaxation. I would totally recommend the tropical green tea which was a huge surprise. I normally drink green tea which canbe an aquired taste but the tropical version was an absolute joy and i haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

Visited yesterday for coffee and tea cake. Greeted by such lovely staff. Coffee was really good. New owners in the process of refurbishment. It is already cozy place and sounds like the work they are doing will make it even more appealing. Will definitely be visiting again soon for brekkie or lunch. Menu looks very inviting. We have been in here a number of times and most recently since the change of ownership. The staff are friendly and attentive and the new owner is present and very welcoming. We had a mini accident which involved me cutting my finger (my fault) and they could not have responded better! We will definitely be back soon.

Every time I visit this wonderful little cafe, I’m always happy when I leave. The staff are just the most lovely people and I always feel so welcome. One of my absolute favourites. Keep it up- it’s really fantastic.

We dropped in to this cafe today for the first time. It had a lovely light airy atmosphere and great food.

We visited MNN today for the first time since it was taken over. Beautiful scone and very good cake and coffee. Service was very friendly - my husband managed to cut himself on a knife and the owner came down from the kitchen himself to check he was okay and then gave us a complimentary slice of cake, which was unnecessary but very much appreciated! Excellent customer service. We’ll be back to try the lunches.

I used to work with Sophie (one of the new owners) so I popped in today to see how her new place was going and it was such a lovely experience, the food was lovely, and super affordable and the staff are all so smiley and welcoming. Soph even let me keep her bobble :)

We had visited previously under the old management and it was bad, however what a turnaround, friendly staff and nice food. We stopped by for lunch and only had sandwiches but mine was packed with ham and just the right amount of mustard. The week before I had the steak sandwich. All in all a great turnaround by the new owners.

Morning Noon and Night made me the most beautiful 21st birthday cake ! and me and some of my family had a lovely breakfast, the staff are all so friendly and incredible helpful we can’t wait to come again!

I popped into Morning Noon Night with my sister today for lunch and couldn’t fault a thing! The food was delicious and fresh and the cakes absolutely beautiful! The homemade Victoria Sponge is the nicest I think I’ve ever had! I’d 100% recommend this cosy place and Sophie’s amazing service made all the difference - lovely to have service with a smile. 10/10

I have been a couple of times now to the new 'Morning noon and night' - the staff are always friendly and helpful and the new menu gives some great options. Would definitely recommend the goats cheese salad but the homemade cakes are the star(s) of the show and the portions are huge.

We came to Morning, Moon & Night for my mums 50th birthday on Saturday 17th August and it was spectacular. The staff couldn’t of done more for us, especially Sophie who made the morning even more special. Even the chef came down to say happy birthday- what a nice touch!! We all enjoyed the service, food & the atmosphere. What a transformation it has had & we all can’t wait to go back back!!

Never have I ever known such ignorant and rude staff, topped off by a poor selection of food choices and bad quality of food.

Have visited a few times since it was taken over and can only thoroughly recommend it. Homemade scones are the best I’ve had. Lovely goat’s cheese, beetroot and walnut salad, beautifully presented and tasty. Staff are enthusiastic, welcoming and happy. Clean and bright. Well worth a visit.

Wanted to try here today as noticed they'd had a refurb and new menu. Unfortunately the new lunch menu was boring - sandwiches, wrap or soup. They stop serving brunch at 11.30...why??? This place has had so many different menu changes it is hard to keep up and know whether they will offering something you fancy. Why not just stick to a traditional all-day menu that suits everyone at any time of the day?We went elsewhere (again).

Great staff, super clean premises, bright environment and the food and service = superb! It is difficult to imagine how the new owners have pulled this off in just a week or so, but hat's off to them they have.

Although the coffee was nice, it was small for the price. We got a few coffee and cake. Male staff seemed friendly and helpful. Food menu looked good. Cakes where ok. Its just been taken over so I'm hoping it can improve and mark it's own stamp on the place.

Gave this place another go having heard it was under new management. Ordered a goats cheese, walnut and beetroot salad..yum you might think. However no sign of beetroot or walnuts and the merest hint of balsamic dressing. The pleasant waiter brought 2 pickled beetroots chopped up which had obviously been taken from a jar with a few walnuts on top. What on earth is the point of having a restaurant if you cannot make up the simplest salad?

We ate here on 8th July. Very poor food, not as described on menu and we're clearly given leftovers from previous day as it was just before 9am and food would not be in such condition if cooked fresh. Service poor and we were over charged.

Under new management and wow the new owners have really turned this restaurant around. The chef has come from a long history from Chester restaurants. Wow can he cook. Hubby and I enjoyed the best ever tomato soup. It was super delicious. Lovely breakfast and lunch menu. The staff were very attentive. Chef’s daughter is there too. Very charming. Their ethos is to make the restaurant a go to place for the locals. I will be visiting them frequently. Oh and did I mention gorgeous brownies and be tasty coffee? Enjoy

MNN has new management! Bright, clean and new menu. Had an excellent veggie breakfast with lovely veggie sausages. Good things are happening, with friendly local staff and fantastic new food menu.

I’m not a fan of big chain coffee shops. The village has a Costa I avoid.

Floor and tables are filthy. Food is ok and staff are friendly. Tables in front of window are disgusting.. the cushions in the window seat look like they need a wash. Easy to remedy this.. get cleaning!

I've been quite a few times to M, N & N and I think it is ace. Food is top notch and the young team taking care of me (and everyone I have subsequently brought with me) are very friendly and very professional. As for the doubters? well there must have been a specific issue when you were there because of my seven visits I have nothing but praise. And even if there had been, I would have told them there and then and I'm sure it would have been sorted. So, advice to anyone who is thinking of going...just do it.

Visited here at lunchtime with family for a special occasion. We ordered an all day breakfast, eggs benedict, egg sandwich & salmon & scrambled eggs. My daughters egg sandwich came with the egg cold & uncooked. The all day breakfast came with uncooked cold egg and cold thick sausages that were uncooked. The eggs benedict had cold eggs and the scrambled eggs was cold. The cups and the cutlery were dirty as was the wooden table we sat at that had old food in the cracks. Complete lack of apology off the young lady serving who put her finger against the egg and said it still feels warm to her !!

We love having coffee here and the cakes are scrumptious. The staff are very friendly and it's a great place to meet friends or have a leisurely coffee and browse newspapers or bring your laptop. Dogs are made welcome too.

Environment pleasant and coffee good. Stopped to try these dishes. Rarebit too spicy (could only eat half) and breakfast, though good in quantity, was luke warm and overall disappointing. However, the dog did enjoy the sausages. Staff advised but, despite their interest in the feedback, no apology offered. Won't have these again.

Visited Bank holiday Monday for a special occasion. Food was awful, luke warm, coffee's cold, raw eggs, absolutely dreadful.Very disappointing. Come on you guys get your act together, sort it out!

I recently visited MNN for the first time and was thrilled to find my new favourite café. It was relaxing and quite trendy with a lot of different ingredients on the menu. I had granola which was absolutely delicious and my partner enjoyed the spicy Spanish eggs. It was all fresh, full of flavour and nicely presented. Coffee was good too. We will definitely return I just wish it was closer to us.

Superb food. Wonderful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Wish we lived closer to enjoy it more often. Will certainly be back next time we are in the area.

Been in here a few times as I really like their coffee but hadn’t tried a roast. Husband had the full English which he said was great (we both love the homemade baked beans - I was quite glad our daughter couldn’t finish hers as it meant I could!) and I had the roast beef. Think it’s the first time I’ve ordered roast beef in any restaurant and it’s come just the right shade of pink. Really lovely and would definitely return.

I wanted to say thanks for a wonderful lunch. Had stopped in for a coffee but food and cakes looked so good we stayed- so glad we did. Great service, lush coffee and food was delicious. Defo be back for a slice of cake soon!

Decided to go in and give it a try with the family pre Christmas. Freaking amazing! Have been quite a bit since to try the usual menu since and it’s a now a regular of mine!

Food was absolutely gorgeous and the place was really nice to take my partner on a date to, we both really enjoyed the evening

We had a great time here. Lovely brunch, coffee and home made cakes. The grandchildren loved their hot milk and hot chocolate drinks too, as well as playing with the toys that were hiding in the table drawers! Service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dogs are also welcome. We would thoroughly recommend MNN.

How do you improve on the Full English? Well, they have at Morning Noon & Night. Being a curmudgeonly old codger I am difficult to please and can find fault quickly. However the thought that went into preparing a simple dish and tweaking it slightly made for a lovely surprise on a frosty Sunday morning. Friendly service and good value make this a place I will be revisiting, sooner rather than later. Well done.

Another outstanding breakfast at Morning Noon Night. Friendly bistro cafe with excellent food. We had the vegan breakfast which was soooo tasty. The wife and I were craving a roast beef on a hungover Sunday and the boss didn’t want to put her war paint on, so the only option we though we had was to drive Aldi and cook one ourselves.... how wrong we were. Rung MNN on the off chance they would bag two dinners to go and they were totally accommodating! Got it home and could not believe how much I had received, it was like Xmas morning all over again. The beef was soft and pink and expertly cooked, for sure better than I would have achieved. Thanks guys!!!

We have been to MNN a few times recently for breakfast/ brunch, mainly becuase we can take our dog in. We find the breakfast the best value compared with other egg dishes. The service has not been quick whenever we have been in and does not seem dependant on how busy the place is. Drinks come through quick, but the food comes through slow. Recent experience is that the food was not hot either. There is a really nice ambience about the place, quite relaxing, however the place is in poor decorative order and not particularly clean. I noticed the signed schedule of cleaning in the toilet was at least 2 weeks blank. We have experienced very miserable staff in the past, but latest visit they were helpful and talkative. There is huge potential for an upmarket type of place in Neston and unless MNN up their game soon, other establishments will become more poular. Already their competitors offer better value breakfasts. We will continue visiting, but will be careful what we order, and might just stick with a drink and toast.

A relaxing, peaceful brunch on a quiet Sunday morning. Very quiet in the cafe but a lovely setting with fresh flowers and warm.

After previous disappointing visits, we were pleased to see an improved brunch menu, more in line with traditional brunch choices.

Me and my wife called in here on our week off after hearing rave reviews from the locals and had a fab full english with a latte and hot choc. Lovely food and drinks with great service to boot. Thank you.

Called in by chance glad I had, beef and blue cheese on sourdough. Hubbie had a toastie and we had a child's roast. Food was lovely! Will definately return. Thanks to the lovely waitress who sorted us out a table in the window

We had originally planned to visit another cafe in Parkgate but as parking was a nightmare and the place was too busy we decided to try here instead.
