The best restaurants in Wilmslow West and Chorley Cheshire East North West

I’ve eaten here many times and attended the New Years Eve parties. The food is delicious, and very well priced. The staff are attentive and can’t do enough to please. There’s always a pleasant atmosphere and the owners make an effort to get to know their regulars making you feel right at home. They are willing to adapt the menu to suit individual tastes. A great place to eat.

Great place to eat with the family with some unusual menu choices that lets it stand out from the crowd. The carnivore skewer and the brisket are especially good too. Nice attentive service thats only there when you need it as oppose to having to chase staff for help / more drinks. Fast becoming favourite place to eat out.

My son and I ordered the gammon steaks, but they were far too salty 🥴. My son only ate a small piece, and I just had one bite. Even though we were still hungry, we stopped eating for our health reasons.

From the street, you’d be forgiven thinking Easy Fish was just a fishmongers in a row of shops. Walk in and you quickly realise that this isn’t “just” a fishmongers, albeit a really good one. Round the back of the shop is a casual restaurant. We haven’t been for quite a while but spotted on the website that they have a short, well priced lunch menu - just five starters and the same mains, at six quid for the former, sixteen for the latter. They used to have a second branch in Wilmslow but that didn’t last toolong and it closed earlier this year So, to start, there’s a classic prawn cocktail – generous serving of prawns, salad and Marie Rose sauce. And, on the other plate, a small filet of smoked mackerel, served warm and accompanied by a dollop of chorizo “jam” – an underwhelming dollop of not very flavoursome red stuff For mains there was a leek and parmesan risotto, topped with a well cooked fillet of smoked haddock. And a classic, and very nicely executed, moules frites. Again a generous portion in a well flavoured mariniere broth, enriched by a splash of cream. Nice crisp chips and two hunks of warm bread. And mayo for dunking was offered and accepted. I could have been back in Belgium! Decent lunch all round. And we stopped in the shop and bought tuna and a couple of mackerel.

Delicious pasta and I highly recommend the burrata and meatballs starter. Service was excellent.

Such a lovely place and fresh tasty food. The Caesar salad with halloumi was delicious and my son devoured his eggs Benedict and chips! Will return. Thank you. X

We travelled a distance to the Smokehouse only to find that there is now no cafe and just as important no loos. So we had to immediately abandon our shopping trip without spending a penny.

Tried several Thai restaurants, this is by far the best, most tasty food, lovely family run place, always welcoming & so helpful if you enquire about any dishes etc. We'll worth a visit.

thanks to cibo making a rememberable experience for my 17th very good service and they are very quick to help the staff were funny and very kind and the food is so amazing taste so nice and hot when it comes out they also brought me out a birthday sunday and sang happy birthday i highly recommend this place

We visited on Friday approximately 3pm. Can honestly say it was a Fabulous experience from start to finish. We ordered two burgers, fish and chips, scampi and chips and sides of chicken wings/onion rings. The potions seemed bigger than other Green King pubs we visit back in the midlands and the whole experience was Brilliant. Friendly Staff, Fabulous Food, Clean and tidy, sections cordened off whilst cleaning was taking place which I thought was particularly good service. Will definitely recommend to others and visit again.

We’d long considered giving the quiz a go so decided to last Sunday. This is a decent pub that serves a nice pint with friendly staff. The quiz was good and we’ll definitely return.
