Finally revisited after a long time & ordered my usual meatballs & my friend had a halloumi baguette. They take card payments now, which they didn't use to pre-pandemic & the waiter was a tad snarky when we asked if they did. Food was served quickly & freshly-made. The meatballs could do with more seasoning & the side salad wasn't the best, but the chips were nice, hot & crisp. Overall, Konak hasn't changed much. It's still a popular place for lunch.

I can’t recommend Konak highly enough. The coffee and food is wonderful, and very consistent, even when busy (which they always seem to be). The place is spotlessly clean and has a lovely, vibrant atmosphere. And on top of that the staff are so friendly and pleasant, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else in Wilmslow. Thank you to all at Konak.

We have been here twice before and had a really good experience. However today it felt very different. It felt like we were being hassled. We had hardly sat down before a waiter was asking if we wanted drinks before eating. While we were still sitting eating another waiter started removing plates and clearing up and asking if we wanted more drinks. Even though it wasn't very busy it felt like they wanted to move us on and out. It wasn't relaxing at all which was very disappointing .

The World Famous Strawberry Cheesecake is the one!. You need to try it!. It sends your taste buds into the universe. You need to have it with ice cream!

First class service and first class food. Lovely happy staff. We stumbled across this lovely cafe while strolling through Wilmslow.

Paninis and chips. Simple but delicious. Lunch comfort. Staff absolutely bonkers but they seem to be enjoying themselves.

Lunch visit. Nicely served, tasty coffee, wrap and salad. Beef and chicken were freshly grilled, sweet potato fries were really good.

We came here as a family of 3 for a Father’s Day brunch. The restaurant/cafe has a nice atmosphere. It was busy but the tables were well spaced. The waiter found the perfect corner table for us. All the staff were very friendly. We had the Turkish panini which was excellent. My daughter had the cheese and ham toasty which was literally just that. Slightly disappointed with the toasty as you could probably get the same for much less in costa but we like to go to independent places. The drinks were nice. It was clean. So it gets 5 stars.

Visited for our first time today and we will definitely be returning. Hygiene in this eatery is to a very high standard. But what makes this even more special is the staff who are chatty, welcoming and friendly. We both had the Konak Boost breakfast, very generous portions and really tasty. The Coffee though is also absolutely delicious, one of the best coffees I’ve had out in a long long time.

I have visited with my sister many times and this time was not different. The food was super fresh, service was fast and tasty. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Prices are very good

Excellent Gluten Free breakfast. Food was so fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Great service and very clean restaurant.

to get the negatives out of the way. I felt the tables were a bit too near for my liking. Also, a teapot would have been preferred rather than a teabag in hot water in the cup. The positives outweighed these though. It was a busy Saturday lunchtime and the service was excellent. We had the soup and a sandwich which was delicious and more than plentiful. What stood out for me also was that the staff were so very polite and welcoming. Finally, the toilets were spotlessly clean. All in all a very pleasant lunch out and will be back when next visiting Wilmslow.

Whenever my wife and i visit Wilmslow,this is one of our favorites! Lovely owner with a great sense of humour.

First time here and wasn’t dissapointed the food was nice and the service was very good. An ideal place for lunch while out shopping.

Nice place and good atmosphere but full English breakfast poor, one crasher of bacon was a minor shock and i think says a lot about attitude to value for money , rest of it distinctly average with underwhelming sausage at over £9 with road pricey woyld not go back.

Popped in for lunch whilst shopping. There is a great choice, with good vegetarian options. The service was brilliant and very friendly. When the food came not only was it pipping hot but also delicious and very plentiful.

Lunch visit. Superb food. Excellent service. Chicken wrap was probably best wrap I have ever had. Sweet potato fries delicious. Toastie cooked exactly as requested. Decent coffee. Hope I get to visit again.

Midweek visit during the morning period. Breakfast. Had just stepped inside the door when I was immediately greeted and offered assistance. Great. Brought to a table, menu. Ordered eggs scrambled on brown toast, coffee. Delivered very quickly - and was tasty. No complaints.

Konak Cafe’s best qualities are it’s consistency, quality, professionalism, service and efficiency. Always on point! Consistently tasty. Always get a reliable and filling bite to eat, at a good speed, at a decent price.

The best cherry cheese cake in the world, have it with Ice cream. I think the staff are just a tad behind the cheese cake for quality. Fabulous food and great value for money

Great food and prices are very good. There are lots of things to choose from including vegetarian options. Lunchtime can be very busy, but worth a short wait for food.

We got a takeaway due to tier 4 rules! The service was really quick and friendly as always and the food was very tasty!! We ordered grilled chicken, a chef’s own kebab and a huge slice of chocolate fudge cake they were all delicious!

Shown to a table and sat down. Only then was it wiped clean. Menus used over and over by different customers. Not asked to provide details for track and trace or to scan phone. Felt too close to other customers despite the odd screen. Only had a quick coffee and didn’t eat because of this. Got to do better during these times I’m afraid.

No table cleaning between customers, same menu being used, not disposable ones. Not asked to NHS trace and just felt unsafe but the food is great and the staff are friendly so I suppose you pays your money and take a chance!

I was in last Wednesday, and I cannot speak any more highly of the place! The food was amazing- especially the cheesecake. the staff were extremely welcoming and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Visited Konak with the Eat to Help scheme for a lunch. The food was great as usual and the service was good. There was a bit of confusion when we came to pay though. I wasn't shown an actual bill, the manager just mumbled it, but behind a perspex screen and a face mask I just couldn't hear him. So I just used touch anyway and was asked if I wanted the receipt. When I walked away and looked at it I realised they hadn't applied the 50% discount. I went back to query this and was told that customers had to actually ask for the discount and some had walked away and not bothered. It wasn't just me either, the lady in front seemed to be having to negotiate her bill. It's good to support restaurants but a 50% tip (bearing in mind the 15% hospitality VAT is still in play and probably being absorbed by the business) seems a little overly generous. I'd much prefer a business to be fully transparent and I worry that some may have touched to pay as I did and not even realised they had failed to receive the discount. I still recommend this place, but be careful you understand what you have paid.

I had to repeat myself several times as the waiter had a clear absence of listening skills! He spoke so rudely and loudly that people from other tables were staring at him in astonishment! Was then made to wait for almost 20 minutes for a distinctly average Lamb Kofte kebab with chips that looked like it had been brought from the cash and carry and cooked in the oven!! Hygiene is non existent, the waiter literally threw my cutlery onto my table, not to mention the distinct lack of respect for social distancing. I politely asked the waiter if he could speed up my transaction as I was in a rush, he responded very bluntly and rudely telling me to “shut up and wait your turn”. When I eventually to the till, I was shouted at by a member of staff who seemed to have very limited communication skills!

We had a nice meal at this cafe. The portions were large and arrived swiftly with friendly service. The food itself was reasonably priced and decent quality for a cafe. But the waiter stood uncomfortably close and had his protective visor raised completely off his face. I saw him do this even with a fairly elderly lady. The tables were also pretty close together and people had to squeeze past us to get to the loo. I’m fairly relaxed about the Covid risk but it made even me feel a little anxious.

We come here for breakfast every time we're flying from Manchester airport to go on holiday. We live in Holywel Flintshire North Wales.This cafe is one of the best we've been in.Lovely staff and fabulous food, great service and spotlessly clean....We've even seen footballers with their wives and children in there!!!Please give it a go , sure you'd love it !!!

Needed a light lunch and came across the Konak Cafe which was busy and buzzing, cafe is very clean and tidy with excellent decoration, very good menu choice, food was tasty with excellent service.

So we went here for Saturday morning brekkie, somewhat hungover. Good breakfast options available. It has been a long time since I reviewed a place and didn’t give it 4/5 or a very poor score. But Konak was just.... Ok. I opted for the veggie breakfast (no vegan option) without egg. My mate ate the sausage which came with it. Definitely not vegan! The coffee was good and the breakfast came I. Fewer than 10 minutes. Exceptional service!! I jus wasn’t enamoured with the breakfast. Waffle for breakfast plus hash browns shows a lack of imagination for me. The beans were tasteless in a pot. Not a fan of that one. I piled it with pepper and sauce to add flavour. Genuinely disappointed with this one. What a shame.

I came here for breakfast with my family. We both ordered the vegetarian breakfast.We both enjoyed it as it was made fresh and really filled us up I was stuffed!The waiters were nice and polite when taking orders.The only off putting thing was the eggs didn't taste like scrambled but instead tasted a bit undercooked like mashed up omelette where as scrambled egg should contain milk and butter...The hash browns were nice and crispy, the vegetarian sausage was different.... and the tea was very nice to go with the meal.Overall a nice place for breakfast.

We were seated at a table for 4, 4 adults plus child. Meant we were a bit squashed in...they offered us a high chair for our 4 year old !?!Took a while to get drinks and a few times items were missed but it was difficult to catch their eye. Service could be a bit more attentive.Food itself was of a good standard, all of us had a fry up. I'd return to try the Turkish dishes, looked very authentic

Called in just for a coffee and once we saw the food at other tables we couldn't resist ordering. Great full English breakfast! Very impressed with everything - the staff, the menu, the speed of the service and the cleanliness, absolutely spotless. Think other places could learn a thing or two from this fabulous cafe.

Every Monday the team go out for lunch, this little cafe is a bit of a walk but every week I am impressed and walk away thinking this is how to run a business. The service is awesome, the staff are really quick, efficient and know I sometimes cannot resist the amazing cheesecake. The food is great value for money and they have something for everyone. The bathroom is spotless, like mine would be if I had visitors, so many places forget how important this is. You must visit it really is the best cafe in a 20 mile radius.

Always have a great meal here - great service, food comes quickly, tastes great and wide menu. Kids love it too

Thanks tripadvisor for another great recommendation. We don't really know Wilmslow so needed help finding a decent lunch. This cafe is at the end of the high street and is really lively. Lots of people seemed to be having versions of the all day breakfast which did look great but in the end we chose baguettes. The service was super with a waiter who actually talked to us like human beings and we sat outside for a couple of hours over our lunch without getting hassled though to be fair, it was a cool day so I don't think they were pressed for tables outside! No hassle to get on and pay the bill though, either. Would visit again.

A little taste of Turkey in Wilmslow. Good menu variety and great food standard. Best of all the hospitality is the best you’ll find in the area hands down.

I enjoy eating my meal when the customer service is good- it wasnt just good- its the best! Meal was great, waiting time is superb, and ther service? Greatness! staff were all accomodating, attentive, and were friendly. Will definitely back!

Though a little difficult to find, it being at the end of a pedestrianized avenue it is well worth the trip as the food, atmosphere etc is far better value than any of the eateries at Manchester airport, thus if you have the time drive to Wilmslow, find the Konak café and enjoy a quality meal be it a coffee, breakfast or lunch.

Visited Saturday lunch time- place was busy however as this cafe has been recommended to my husband and I on a few occasions this was expected.

We often pop in for brunch, lunch or just a latte and are always well looked after. The food is great, as well as the welcome and service. Definitely the best in Wilmslow.

I have been eating here for seven years now during the daytime. Not open evenings. Staff polite and helpful .Love the food. Their jacket potatoes with chilli are my top choice closely followed by moussaka . My coffee is always exactly how I want it to be.

The Konak cafe is a lovely cafe. Staff are friendly & the service is lovely. The portions of food a quite big as well. You don’t have to wait too long for it either. Does get very busy at lunch times. But are able to reserve your table.

Konak Cafe is a great eating place right in Grove Street in Wilmslow when you need a break from shopping. They have friendly and caring staff, a good and varied menu, great and quick service. We have enjoyed several visits and have never been disappointed.

Last week we visited the cafe. Although it is in a lovely place,it is above the avarage and it could be better in some ways. First of all, the latte was very hot and the milk was a little bit burnt Toastie came on its own without any garnish. It would be better to be served with a couple of cucumber and tomato slices. On the other hand, the staff is kind and nice and the place is child friendly. You can spend hours at the tables at the front and say hello to your passing friends ☺️ I will definitely go back and try their other food and Turkish mezes.

Friendly & helpful staff, fab food and drinks, very clean. Very popular place so may be worth calling to reserve a table, but they also provide a take away service. Highly recommend the Turkish Tornado drink. Really tasty and so refreshing

We have been calling into the Konak café for a number of years now, and always found them to be very attentive, polite and helpful. Prices can vary but you can add or subtract items from the menu listings to suit individual tastes etc and the price will be adjusted accordingly. Unlike so many other establishments, when empty cups and plates etc are left on the tables, the Konak ensures that they clear tables quickly. They even sweep the floor , which isn't always seen to happen in other cafes. Service is prompt and food good. A nice, comfortable and clean establishment high on our list of regular aunts.

Me and my Partner just recently moved into the area and we thought we would try here the first day of moving into the area as we was exploring. We love coming here as we've been a few times now. Food is always nice and is only like a 10 minute wait. My partner is Gluten free and they Gluten free food which is amazing as not many places serve it. Place is always clean and staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!!

Food is good though can be a bit pricey...but hey its Wilmslow. Service is always fast but god forbid if its busy...they make an active effort to get you out once finished which is extremely annoying.

Popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Lovely service from friendly staff. Coffee was ok - a bit weak. The breakfast was poor. I ordered the smashed avocado on toast with scrambled egg and bacon. The ‘avocado’ was grey, mushy and tasteless - like it had been scooped out of a plastic pot. Not at all good enough. Other places nearby for the same price provide actual edible avocado. Perhaps the rest of the food is good (it was busy). But not a place I’d return to!

Food is pretty decent. Very reasonable prices, great portions and speedy take out service. Always clean inside. In particular the service is very efficient, professional and polite. They run a slick ship there. My favourite waiter is Patrick. He’s always friendly and attentive and a nice young man to boot!

I like Konak for a breakfast, whether that's an early, business breakfast or a later more relaxed breakfast/brunch. This time the family had the latter. And this time - with a bowl of fries!! All good.

Good food and nice coffee but coffee wasnt very hot. Downside is i felt some attiude when i wasnt able to pay by card. How was i suppose to know, didnt see any signs.

I visited here every lunch when I first moved to the area, the food was relatively inexpensive and standard fair. I can't complain about that side of things.

My family and I enjoyed our lunch at Konak Cafe. The service was friendly and the atmospheres was relaxed. The menu was not v extensive but the food we ordered was tasty. The prices were v reasonable. One small negative was that they still don’t take any card payments - but there is s cash machine v close to the cafe.

I enjoyed the service and food on my recent visit to the Konak Cafe in Wilmslow. This location is a short walk from our downtown meeting site and was quite busy during the weekday lunch hour. I enjoyed a club sandwich with chips and a cola. The restaurant was clean, the food was great and the staff was friendly and attentive. I certainly plan to visit again on my return to Wilmslow.
