Amazing bar and restaurant. 3 real ales which is always good. Lovely food and really good price. Burger was delicious. Staff super friendly. Well worth a visit.

We went to the Burns night bash, absolutely brilliant. Cullen Skink, haggis Neeeps and Tatties then Cranachan. All washed down with an excellent craft ale.

We enjoyed eating in the garden on a sunny day but there were so many dogs barking at each other and snarling one even jumped up and licked my grandson's face while he was sitting waiting for his lunch that it spoiled our birthday treat.

Food good....staff friendly. Superb views.

Someone answered the phone and took a booking the week before bot on the day we found the place had closed down!

Arrived, booked, early on a Saturday evening and were promptly seated and efficiently provided with menus. Drinks came and we ordered our main meals, scampi and jerk chicken. This is where it went wrong. No more than 10 minutes later the food arrived! We both knew this was not freshly cooked food. The scampi was presented ok (but then how could you not?) but 'a large'..? Questionable. The chicken however had been piled on the plate with the chips,swimming in its sauce,and a 'rubberised' 1/2 corn on the cob. One mouthful was enough. Microwaved chicken of questionable date is not very pleasant no matter the strength of the coating. The lovely young lady serving recognised something was amiss and offered an alternative. When I said no, the other equally pleasant server lady suggested two free desserts. These were also refused. Yes, the chicken was comped, but... ... and the lady taking payment was lacking customer service skills. Shame. Could be nice, but it isn't.

We went for a Friday dinner after work. Onion soup starter the steak Diane. Excellent quality. Washed down with some excellent Robinsons.

Pulled over here to check directions and got yelled at by the person living upstairs about the car park being closed and they slammed the door before I could even answer. We did plan on coming for a drink on our way back through but didn't bother.

Always a warm welcome to this old country pub. Interior renovation is high quality, and progressing steadily.

Amazing Sunday lunch at a great price. Staff were friendly and a lovely cozy atmosphere. Also dog friendly and very clean. 10 out of 10!
