The best restaurants in Alsager Cheshire East North West

Quick service and lovely food in the cafe and the butchers. Excellent value too. Farm shop and cafe well worth a visit, lots of frozen and fresh food. Jams, pickles etc too.

Great food as usual and staff are lovely.

When we arrived the restaurant was extremely busy, so we had a quiet drink at the bar, nice table for four. Food was excellent all courses. Yes we have a wait between them, but we like that when dining out. One lady did moan quite loudly and aggressively at the staff about the wait, which was uncalled for, but some people are just rude. The staff are excellent. We had a fabulous night and will be returning again very soon.

Very disappointing pizzas. Originally a very authentic base, whereas now they are the same as I can get at any other takeaway in Alsager, so why pay the premium.

I love this pub. It’s my favourite in the whole world. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Uninspiring yet ok food. Prawn puri starter was the highlight - packed with flavour and prawns and the puri was light and fresh. Chicken was on the dry side in the Pathia which also lacked richness. Avoid the house red. It's the only one available by the glass and is approaching undrinkable. Ideal for a post pub curry, but it is not the 'amazing' food that some of the reviews suggest. I cannot comment on the chef specials and is only one visit, so I may be underselling this place..or not!

I went for breakfast with my daughter and grandson. A good choice on the menu. Good quality produce, cooked to perfection, delicious. Competitive prices. Lovely helpful friendly staff, a lovely local pub with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Nice drinks and atmosphere. Tv room at the side is good for doing some work whilst socialising too. Staff are super friendly (Franki exceptional) and alwags engaging with customers.

Just been here for a takeaway as we were driving through Alsager. Never again. Firstly they don’t take card, so we had to go the cash point. When we got the food back home, the chicken in both the chow mein and the curry was utterly disgusting, so slimy and rubbery it was like eating a slug!! The salt and pepper chips were ok but to be honest after one mouth of the chicken, we literally binned the rest! I had my concerns when the whole order was only £19 as it was much cheaper than our local Chinese in Nantwich. Avoid unless you like eating slug like chicken 🐌

This is a very friendly pub. We eat here quite a lot and the food and staff are wonderful. A delicious meal tonight for our table of six. We also compete in the quiz night every Wednesday. There is always a great atmosphere and it is buzzing! Would definitely recommend.
