I like Bod, nice decor, decent pint and a chilled atmosphere, just a shame about the constantly lethargic service. Having visited a number of times now it never seems to improve and is the reason we don't visit more. I have literally stood at the bar whilst the young staff stand chatting for several minutes until i actually asked if they were going to serve me. Very frustrating and unnecessary. Sort this aspect out and it would be a great place to go.

Really like Bod. Inside it's got a good atmosphere. And they serve a good pint. My lads like the Little Bod Milkshakes and Hot chocolates and they're not a rip off. Eaten in there twice now and been good both times. Just a shame the front doesn't get much sun and there's no seats out the back.

First time visiting BOD in Alsager this morning and I was very impressed! The venue was clean, nicely decorated and had a great relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered from the breakfast menu and I had the gluten free BOD breakfast and a large americano. There's a great selection of both food and drinks (alcoholic, locally sourced and non-alcoholic) and the prices are great given the quality. The food was fresh, tasty and they source their produce locally which is always a plus for me and it showed through the taste and quality of the food, no frozen muck here! 🙌 The coffee was also locally sourced, fresh and high quality unlike some of the better known chains 👀 Some helpful notes: 🐕 The venue is dog friendly (paws on the floor) 🚗 There's a free car park around the back. ⚠️ There's lots of gluten and dairy free options. ☀️ Lovely outdoor seating area at the front. ♿ There's accessible parking and ramp access. 🎙️ They have live music on Friday nights. A great time was had and although it's not on my doorstep, I'll be visiting more often as it's well worth it's really close to a great selection of small independent and charity shops.

We went for breakfast this morning, delighted that they were dog friendly. I had the eggs Benedict with spinach and smoked salmon on a toasted muffin, it was very good, my son had the full English which consisted of, sausage, bacon, beans, egg, mushrooms, tomato and toast which he also enjoyed. We both had a good cup of tea too. The staff were friendly and, although there were a few people already there, we didn't have to wait long. My son bought 2 of the rather exotic and delicious looking cakes to take for work, although expensive, they looked wonderful. We had a very pleasant visit, thank you.

Lovely interior lovely staff. The menu is limited but very well presented and very tasty. I had a lovely banana milkshake, which I'm going to have next time we go. I'm off the beer so couldn't try Titanic Brewery's finest but it looked fantastic. There were three of us and a baby and it all came to £27.00. I know I've said lovely a lot but it is, I can't wait to go again. Just an ad-on went again today (16/2/24) the food was nice but a bit expensive the only thing was the disabled toilets were in a state and the tables didn't get cleared very quickly. The seat in the toilet wouldn't flush and the lock was dodgy. Its almost as if they're not keeping up with the maintenance and if they want the name, they need to spend the money.

I went into Bod for the first time on 22 July with two of my friends and thought it is lovely inside however, we were really shocked that at 10:18pm the staff announced last orders and at 10:30pm were told that they will be closing at 11pm only to be told again at 10:55pm that they are closing in 5 min! There were people turned away before 11pm too. Shocking! The place had no atmosphere which was not surprising given the staff’s attitudes. I would seriously have someone from headquarters do a undercover boss visit.

Met my son for coffee which we often do on a Sat lunchtime. Very spacious and airy interior. Well furnished with contemporary decor. Not tried any food yet. Staff were lovely and the young lady brought my coffee over to our table. Helpful as I walk with a stick. Handy parking behind for 8-10 cars. Nice conservatory area off main building. I remember when this gorgeous period Georgian / Edwardian red brick building was a local solicitor's office. Externals of the building have retained all the original character. Thoughtful addition of a very shallow inclined access ramp means wheelchair and pushchair customers can get in with ease.

Incredibly Rude Staff. We visited Bod in Alsager on the evening of Wednesday 21st June. My daughter had passed her driving test on the Monday and also passed her 2nd year Uni exams on the Wednesday, so we celebrated by going for a meal and then afterwards called into the Bod for a drink. My daughter and husband went to the bar and I went to get a table outside. We had probably had one sip of our drinks when we were approached by a blonde staff member who demanded quite aggressively for ID for my daughter who is 19. My daughter reached to get her ID and then remembered that her provisional licence had been returned in order for her full licence to be issued. We explained this to the blonde member of staff and she instructed my daughter not to touch her drink as she was under age. I informed her that I had a photo on my phone of the provisional license and also a photo of her passport. My daughter also had her student ID card displaying her date of birth but she declined to look at any of them stating that she would only accept a hard copy driving licence. She then reiterated that she was not to touch the drink and she returned to the bar. My husband and I took my daughter’s full drink to the bar and asked for a refund. The young girl who served my daughter and husband had actually served my daughter on the previous Saturday with the same drink, a cider and they had actually had a discussion about the pronunciation of ‘mout’ cider. This said member of staff then actually lied and said she thought the cider was for me, which didn’t make any sense as I had a Prosecco, so that’s still 3 alcoholic drinks. The blonde still refused to refund the cost of the cider again stating that ‘she is under age’. I again asked her to look at the photos or the student ID card and again she refused. I understand that bars have licensing laws and had she been asked for ID at the bar prior to being served and they had not accepted the forms of ID that would have been fine if they refused to serve us and we could have gone elsewhere but to let us pay for a round of drinks and then come and tell us that she was not to consume the drink is unacceptable and this is where some common sense and discretion should have prevailed. The blonde then told us we were not welcome and to leave. This really put a downer on our evening, 2 middle aged people having a drink with there daughter to be treated like this is unbelievable. It wasn’t as though she was out with a rowdy gang. We are regular visitors to the Bod with friends and family but they have most definitely lost our and our friends business. The Bod should be taking responsibility to educate and train their staff.

It is a lovely place, the decor is great with a nice outdoor seating area the only thing that let's this place down is the food, I ordered the peach pistachio and goats cheese salad, it was salad out of a packet with tinned peaches and a few pistachio thrown on top, the dressing was bland and tasteless and this cost £10, the ploughman's lunch my partner had wasn't any better either, such a shame.

I love titanic brewery and I love the bod franchise but the alsager one is a joke….. some of the staff just don’t have a clue. I went in today and ordered a sausage rolll, I waited 30 minutes and after hearing the kitchen bell 4 times stating food ready which was obviously mine as their was hardly anyone in but it still didn’t arrive so I asked staff and they weren’t bothered and walked off three times…. I eventually asked a young man and stated I’d been waiting ages and asked three times previously and I could see my food on the kitchen preparation table and the young lad grabbed it for me. This is the third time I’ve ordered food from the alager BOD and it’s been a joke every time and I think it’s the bar staff more than the kitchen… certain ones just don’t look interested. The most annoying thing is that I’ve been to three other BOD’s and they are fab so this one being poor in a disappointment

The place itself was fine could have had a few more beers to choose from but the ones that were on offer were OK. Disappointed with a purchase, a pork pie was priced at £4.50, I thought I was getting a whole pork pie, I asked them to cut it into four pieces. When I received the pie it was in four pieces but it was only half the pie, I complained but was told that £4.50 was for 1/2 a pie, I told them that their point of sale sign was wrong and needed to be changed. I have not been back to check if it's changed.

Disappointing first visit to the new Bod in Alsager. Staff don't seem to understand their own table plan - I watched my coffee sit on the bar for a few minutes before a grumpy waitress took it for a lap of the building before it finally arrived at my table, cold and half of it in the saucer. I was then given a napkin to mop it up myself. On a positive note, Titanic have breathed new life into an old empty building which ought to be a great space to socialise and unwind with quality fare. Unfortunately, on this occasion I left wound up - I cannot bear sloppy service, there is no need for it.

On both occasions my breakfast was delicious and well-cooked, particularly the scrambled egg, which can be an easy thing to get wrong. The sausages, in particular, are good quality and tasty. The coffees I purchased were reasonably priced and had a pleasant flavour. Service was relatively swift, and the staff I encountered were helpful and polite. From walking through the door and being totally ignored/ snubbed by the two staff working at the bar, my experience in this establishment was beyond terrible. When placing my order I was asked what table I was sat at. I tried to describe and was the made to feel stupid for my description. I asked if there were table numbers to be told - no (and all the staff found this stupid and confusing too). The server then bought out a map of the seating plan and asked my to locate my table off this. Helpful. I was made to stand waiting for my order at the bar whilst other customers had it taken to their table. I had been there the week before so I knew this wasn’t normal. My sausage sandwich was dumped on my table by the same grumpy lady that served me at the bar before she slowly walked away. I had to ask for a knife and fork, which she slammed down on her return. Food very average, service beyond a joke. Don’t waste your money or time.

One coffee was lukewarm the other mainly froth and more expensive than other coffee shops. There were no loyalty cards available, three weeks after opening, which is not a problem as I'm unlikely to return. They need to realise that there are plenty of other well established places to eat and drink in Alsager with better customer service. Place seemed nicely renovated and seating was good. Food was poorly made and presented, and took over an hour to serve sandwiches, dry undressed salad leaves and raw garlic bread (untoasted bread with butter and garlic paste squirted on top). Would return for a drink but not for food. Appreciate that it’s a new venture but, it’s one of seven bods in total so it really should hit the ground running smoothly, as they’ve done it all before. Shame, but it was really badly done basic cafe food.

Not awful, but not great. Visited last night for drinks, and this morning for breakfast. Last night was nice - there's a great atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced and felt very clean/tidy. Service was a little slow, but that's to be expected. This morning however, asked for an English Breakfast to be told there's no sausages for another hour, so we'd have to either have more bacon or black pudding. Fine, it's likely the delivery hadn't come yet. We then ordered milkshakes, to be told there's no straws, but we could have a spoon instead. Not sure how they can serve milkshakes with no straws. Won't be returning for food, but will return for an evening for drinks.

A good madras, or vindaloo usually has a certain look, as do naan breads. I opened the food and was faced with a Vindaloo that didn't look great and a naan bread that looked flat and lifeless. Someone treated me to the meal and I thought oh no, I'll have to force this down now to not look rude. It was actually really good. The naan looked really small in the bag but was actually pretty big once I unwrapped it and had loads of flavour. The curry was lovely. It was slightly towards the hotter end of Vindaloo heat but the flavour was good and it's impossible to eat a curry that hot if it's not nice. I literally had every last drop of sauce. It was really nice. Rice was just plain basmati and was cooked spot on. The guy serving was really friendly in shop and had very good English, making the call to order very easy. Great place, would definitely use again and a fair price too.

If you're a regular business hotel user and familiar with Premier Inn, dont book this one. Go and stay at the Holiday Inn by the train station in town, as this place is dreadful in comparison. The rooms are tired, as in 80s tired, the staff are not bothered about keeping good housekeeping. Oh, and if you want breakfast before you're setting off in the morning, then don't expect anything before 7:15, or as reception happily commented, theyre never ready until 7:30. Dreadful place.

waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive despite there only being a few other groups of people there, makes you wonder how they do during busier times. nonetheless the food was absolutely amazing! nice inside & clean. :-) staff were also kind and not pushy whatsoever which feels like a rarity nowadays.
